Appearance: Jack is rather tall (six feet three inches) and has a weight of one hundred sixty three pounds. He appears to be thin and malnourished though, as his skin is a sickly white that makes him look dulled, and his muscles are more stretched out than bulging. He likes to surprise people, however, whenever he flexes since he is actually much stronger than people make him out to be. His shoulders are broad and square, giving his an air of authority; but even with that, he often slouches when sitting down, adding to his sickly, depressed look. His face has soft features, like a sloped nose and not-so-sharp jawline. His cheeks are sallow and his dark grey eyes have dark circles around them a lot of the time from lack of sleep. His hair is a steely grey too, reaching past his forehead and hanging limply over his nose, often covering his eyes. Sometimes, he may even pull his hair back with a clip to see.
Jack's clothing is surprisingly well-thought out, as he does care somewhat for his appearance in front of others. He might even cycle in and out of clothes three times throughout the day, depending on his mood. His favorite colors being deep reds, lighter greys, forest greens, and royal blues, he likes to wear those out when many people are around. A grey dress shirt with black slacks are a commonality for him; however, he does own polos and collared shirts in the other colors as well. He's not a big fan of shorts, so he's seen wearing slacks and (the ever-so-rare) jeans. On his feet, he wears dress shoes or loafers, only changing into combat boots when he's fighting. Jack prefers to look tidy and neat at all times.

Personality: His personality is a coin; it's either one part of himself or the other. The switch just happens depending on the people he's around. One side is his outgoing side, where he seems to be more of the light-hearted eccentric, smiling constantly and being flirtatious and confident. It is his "go-getter" side, where he likes to tackle things head on, where he tends to go a little crazy and freak people out on purpose. Jack tends to get a little crazy, popping up out of nowhere and scaring people when he can. His second self is darker and meaner, yet in a much more serious manner. He gets quieter, preferring to show his strength through action than in word. In this phase, he's a more concentrated fighter, wearing a mask over his face to hide himself and a cape with a hood to add "mystery points".

History: At an early age, Jack's parents divorced at split (his mother was a meister, so she had plans to send him off to the DWMA when he reached high school). Of course, he had to see his father every so often, so he visited on the weekends and during most holidays. The house was a quite a ways away from where his mother lived, so he didn't really know anyone outside of the household. Often staying indoors, his weekends passed like that of a living hell. His father was somewhat of an authoritarian, punishing him for even the smallest things a child could do. There was beating, yes, but that didn't hurt Jack as much as
the verbal abuse. Words like "dumba**" and "sh**head" and the like caused him to darken and feel insecure. He couldn't show this to his mother, feeling like his father would punish him again, so he clamped up and put on a face for his mother. This was the beginning of his acts.
The insults continued on in a list, going with little things and calling him ugly (bringing about the mask) and weak. He sealed off his emotions in front of his father, only showing a little bit of himself to his mom. As he continued on into highschool, his dad somehow ran off, never to be actually heard of (Jacques theory was that he found another woman and decided to cut off all ties with his family).
As he went to DWMA, he channeled his darker self into fighting, but the feelings of anger and helplessness (and often worthlessness) towards his father did arise from time to time. He couldn't help it; but his fighting self is usually the self he used to keep himself strong against his father. With everyone else, however, he was just as eccentric and weird as he was with his mother.
