Hanari, Shizuka "Bandage"

Weapon Form: Shizukas weapon form is a naginata with a slightly but still noticeably worn out blade. The 45 cm blade is put on a fully bandaged pole which by default adjusts its length equaly the meisters who wields its height. The pole can adjust its length  to any (reasonable) range if the meister or weapon so wills it (She won't be able to reach a km in length but maybe about 20m at max).
However, no matter how far you decide to stretch the pole out, the pole will always be fully covered in bleached bandages hiding its true surface. Forcibly trying to take it of is a brutal action, that most likely only will hurt Shizuka the more you are trying to pull it off. Who knows, maybe it has a reason and might unfold itself in her development as a weapon? Or maybe it's merely nothing at all...

Appearance: Shizuka is from Japan but is even there, quite short for her age. The average hight for a 14 year old girl is about 5'1" whilst she stands around 4'11". She has havel (dominantly green) colored eyes and short grayish hair that roughly have grown down to her chin in length. Her skin is rather pale and it is not unusual that she have dark circles under her eyes, due to spending the night reading...

She is always wearing a plain sweater which is at least two sizes larger than she actually needs. "The bigger the warmer" she says as she walks around with the clearly oversized sweater that covers her hands and most parts of her body. She uses bandages to keep the sweater from goin down to her knees and wear a chequered (like Makas) green skirt. It would seem that she had a little too fun with the bandage so she is not only using it for keeping the size of her sweater in check from her knees, but have also strained random parts of bandage with a knot on other parts of her body over the sweater, hence she got the nickname "bandage"


Personality: Shizuka is a quiet and timid but not always necessarily a shy girl. She has like many others, her own way of thinking about things and lacks a certain amount of common sense in some areas that not even her parents have ever come to understand (her dressing sense being one of them). Because she can be a bit slow on things and due to her odd appearance, she have always been the odd one out of the group and become a bit of a antisocial bookworm.


History: Shizuka was born from a normal family in Kyoto, Japan. She was never the brightest and loudest of all the kids out there which relieved her parents from the noise and trouble but also worried them for mostly being on her own. It really never bothered Shizuka that much thou. About anything you could do with others, you could do on your own. There really needed to be a goalkeeper to take the principle out of kicking a ball after all. As she grew older, Shizuka started to feel that she frew colder and colder, literaly and not mentaly. She decided that the clothes her parents were buying for her wasn't enough and that she needed something warmer. So she took the initiative and bought herself her first oversized sweater and found herself overjoyed after the first hour of her  first purchase. She did find it incredibly irritating to walk in them at first though, which made her search the house and found lots and lots of bandages in her mothers first aid kit.

Now appearing even than before, the other children her age started to straight out avoid her rather than just being careful around her. The only ones that approached her now was her own loving parents and a couple of bullies who had come up to the "fun" idea of trying to make Shizuka angry first. They took her schoolbooks and threw them in the trash, they took her shoes and drenched them in water before they put it back in her locker. They deliberately almost shouted out insults towards her in the classroom so that she could hear while Shizuka simply sat on her bench, reading a book. The bullies were out of ideas and their leader "Shiina" I belive her name was, was tempt to make a furious and final try.

With steady steps she walked through the classrom directly towards Shizuka herself. When she finaly were there, she jerked away the book Shizuka peacefully had been reading and started tearing out the pages in groups of three. You could say that this probably were one of Shiinas "biggest mistake in a lifetime" when she realised that there were a giant cut in her left cheek, which most likely would forever be there as a scar from the future on. This was the moment when Shizuka for the first time ever had snaped out on someone and also the one time she had awakened her power. Whilst staring at the bully with a glare of death, it took a lot of willpower from stoping herself striking the foolish bully once again, but she succeeded and the bully were running away in tears of pain and ofcourse... fear. Only another few hours went by until she was expelled from her school. When she came home her parents were waiting for her and had decided it was best to send her of to DWMA, as a last hope of giving their daughter a chance to meet people similar to herself.

When she arrived at DWMA, she actually cursed the place itself for it's meaninglessly long stairway and fought her quite infirm body up the entire way until she felt that detonating her legs from her body probably would have been more of a relief than to keep them right now. The first time she went in to the school she actually expected history to repeat itself due to her looks and deppressing aura. She was proven very wrong thou when people immediately had taken notice of her and tried to start upp a conversation between them. She answered them the only way she knew how, to awkwardly walk away in silence in hope of getting to read her new book. It didn't take long until she got the nickname "Bandage" because of her appearance and as far as many students knew, her information had so far remained a mystery.

And now here she is in DWMA, and who knows what possibly could await this antisocial little creature?! Stay tuned! (Or not haha~)

-Err... Umm... Egh... She is my first character!!! Yaaaaay~
-Shizukas wavelength is a careless one that probably woudln't react much less even fight it if even the slightest amount of madness tried to invade her. What is it that all of those madmen are laughing about? Let's try it out and see if it can make me laugh...
