Appearance

Airic is a rather short girl, standing at about 5'2" or so. She's rather skinny, and has very little curve to her body, but she does have a small waist. She's just not very big, only weighing in at about 95 pounds. She has short, very soft, shoulder-length blonde hair that's cut in an even line around her head, and is very thick and shiny, with side bangs. She hates it when she gets a hair out of place, and often wears a clip to hold her bangs back. She has pale, smooth skin, with hardly any scars. All in all, she's a very pretty young girl. She wears black pleated skirts, black leggings, with crisp, clean button-up tops in any and all colors, and gray vans. She doesn't really wear jewelry, or makeup, and her clothing is very simple, but sophisticated.

Personality

Airic is nervous, jumpy, uptight, and very much a perfectionist and neat freak. She is scared of a lot of things, and very timid and shy. She possesses a gentle, tiny voice that makes it hard for her to speak her opinions. She's always afraid she'll offend someone, and she's very pessimistic, and hates for anything to go wrong. She has a nervous tick where she moves her fingers almost as if she's playing the piano on any flat surface, and she almost never speaks unless it's necessary. However, she is a very determined individual, and if she takes on a task, she can and will complete it, and she's a very hard worker. She, however, does not like getting dirty, and hates the sight and scent of blood. She doesn't like any violence, which is why she can't look when her Weapon eats souls after their fights. However, she's incredibly smart, and gets perfect grades on everything.

After someone takes the time to get her out of her comfort zone, she is very bright, smart and can actually have fun, if pressed. She is brave in fights, and protective of her partner, and is a great public speaker if it's necessary. However, she only goes through these periods for a very short time.

History

Airic was born in Detroit, Michigan, to her parents. She was an only child, and a lot was expected out of her. However, unlike most only children, she wasn't spoiled. Her mother was an alcoholic and her father went around with other women. She grew up mostly on her own, and was taught not to speak unless spoken to. She was punished harshly if she ever got bad grades, so she worked extremely hard to make good ones. She spent most of her life trying to please her parents. Unlike most kids, who watched TV and played video games, she worked hard to get the best grades ever, sometimes working herself to the point of exhaustion and skipping meals in favor of studying. She also cared greatly for her physical appearance, as her father often said she looked like her mother, and then she would hear him tell her mother that she was the ugliest woman in the world, and he had no idea why he married her. So, she wore makeup early on, and worked to make sure her outfits were immaculate and her hair beautiful.

One night, when she was 13 years old, her mother left. She was drinking and driving, and she crashed the car into a tree, and didn't make it. Her father, unable to care for her without her mother's help, sent her to the DWMA. She spent the entire year there working as hard as she could to get good grades, and still couldn't find a good Weapon that suited her tastes, and usually worked on her own until she met Zane, who complemented her personality incredibly well, and worked well with her, even if he is a bit excitable for her. She hopes to make him into a Death Scythe someday, and works as hard as she can to get him to that point, with rigorous physical exercise and long hours of reading into the night. She still finds it hard to relax, for good reason. In her mind, making him into a Death Scythe is the most important thing in the world. Almost nothing else matters... except her grades, of course.
