Appearance: Rosey has a very unimpressive build. She stands 5'7", and weighs in at 98 pounds. Her complexion is fair, however covered up mostly by her outfit. She wears a cloak with a long cape tied behind her at her arms. It is a purple hued blue in the inside in a stary pattern that only shows in bright light. She wears boots that make her stand two inches taller. Her eyes are a very soft blue and her face sports gender neutral features. Rosey hair is short and black. She wears finger length gloves and a silver buckled belt that looks big on her.


Personality: Rosey prefers her shorthand nick name in the place of her actual name. She vastly prefers not to be made important or serious. Roslyn finds herself very bored, seeking the thrill of battle she's seen and heard of so much but never able to find it. In becoming a great warrior, she feels like she's lost something that of what makes her human. She rarely ever fights with anything other than a smooth, neutral expression. This courage easily mistakable as a death wish. On the more redeeming side, Rose is strongly driven to defend people, fighting for all of the right reasons despite being motivated by the idea of breaking her monotony.

She does not believe in justice but does not stand for redemption, taking her position as a meister seriously so she may keep others safe. This desire alone is the single most goal that can actually fill her with determination and emotion. She doesen't hold grudges, and is quick to give mercy to an enemy that she has confidence will not hurt anyone else. She'd send him on his way. Rosey is not necessarily smart or patient. Often only skimming over classwork. An antagonist would be much less hard pressed to drive her into a state of disparity and anger by monologing and explaining their life story more than anything else.

Rosey can be gently kind, especially to those she knows well. She doesen't like to hurt people and will ever pull her punches when in sparring matches with her fellow meisters. Her skin is very thick and it is rare that she doesen't shrug off criticisms and insults. A part of her wants to see that she get's recognition for her deeds. But though fate she always seems to throw it way so that someone else may prosper. As much as it drives her nuts. She knows very well that she is not charismatic and to many, it is not easy to love her. So she'll readily take the blame or the fall for others. Even if they ask her otherwise.


History: When Roslyn Church was a young in Philadelphia, she always felt like she had something bigger she was going to do with her life. Falling into a number of groups and taking up a number of interests, outlandish as they may be. Wanting to fight evil as hard as she could. While she did poorly in school, she devoted her real effort into boxing, dancing, and even joining her junior officer training program in school. One after the other, these interests shifted and faded. In a fit of bitterness, she went for a long walk. Getting lost in her home town, as was typical.

What wasen't typical was the scene she came across when darkness was out. She found a hulking Kishin egg preying on another young woman much less fortunate than her, she was cornered. But Rosey stepped in between them, standing her ground and not content to let him devour the innocent soul. Before she knew it, he struck at her, and they fought. Trading blows with the Kishin was a visceral affair, she was bloodied and beaten. But defended the poor girl by doing nothing less than pounding his head into a black paste.

Roslyn's fire was alight then more than ever. She did heavy research when she was in the hospital. feeling like she knew what she wanted to do with her life. She discovered the death weapon and meister academy! After applying to join she failed the written test and was swiftly rejected. Deciding that she would have to take matters in her own hands, she showed the academy determination in training herself for several years. Even dropping out of high school to the outrage of her parents. She sent the souls of several Kishin egg's in the mail and traveled to death city to talk to the recruiters in person. With great effort, she became a meister of the DWMA! And immediately felt she had made a great mistake. Seeing that she was such a cut above the rest of the meisters, and now even those she was fighting again. Her boredom grew even greater then when she dreamed of going to the school. Now looking to experience a fight like any other meister before her.


Miscellaneous: Roslyn's combat style focuses heavily on physical strength. Battling her is a test of might as she aggressively attacks and pushes the offensive. Using such maneuvers to hide the gaps in her defense. She carries drastically more power to her small frame then most opponents would assume and has trained her body extensively. Namely giving her enough stamina to simply not have to give very much effort in most cases to win.
