Appearance: Asher is usually seen wearing a black leather jacket unzipped exposing a white dress shirt under with the collar of the jacket popped out and a grey infinity scarf. He wears black dress pants and black dress shoes. He has a gold watch on his right hand that he inherited from his father. He also keeps a cross necklace concealed under his shirt. Asher appears to be very skinny, a result from eating very little. He stands at 6'1 and weighs 162 pounds. Asher has very little muscle definition. Asher has jet black hair that reaches down to his eyes and a little below his neck and very dark eyes that match his hair. His skin is pale, due to not going out very much and being exposed to very little sun. Asher stands upright and has very good posture.

Personality: Asher is a very reserved and quiet person, not sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. He is an introvert, but doesn't refrain from speaking up when needed to or interested in something. Asher is very hard to get to know, being slightly cynical, believing that people only make friends with others for their own personal gains. However, he is polite and courteous to those around him, especially to older people and children. Asher is a firm believer in respecting his elders. Asher is very analytical and views the world from a standpoint of coming up with reasons for why people do the things they do or why things happen for the reasons they happen. Asher may be oblivious to things that happen around him, caught up in his own thoughts from time to time. Because Asher is such a serious person and deep thinker, he doesn't really have a sense of humor and usually winds up confused when told a joke.

History: Asher was born in Anderlecht, Belgium to a witch mother and a father unknown to him. Asher and his mother would constantly have to move around because she was being pursued by people from the DWMA for crimes she'd commited, crimes Asher was too young to understand. Due to this, Asher had a very difficult time making friends or close bonds with the people around him, and eventually deemed it a lost cause.

Since Asher's mother constantly had to look over her shoulder for DWMA pursuers, it made her mentally unstable and paranoid. She thought of Asher as a nuisance that only slowed her down and would constantly abuse him, venting her anger out on him. Asher never feared his mother, but lost respect for her with each day that passed, wondering what he'd done wrong to receive such nasty treatment from his mother. Despite this, Asher always loved his mother deep on the inside.

One morning, Asher ran from his home temporarily after being hit for asking for some cereal. Asher ran to a playground in the middle of Berlin, Germany, (one of the places he and his mother ran to) and waited for a few hours for his mother to cool down. While there, Asher noticed a few boys playing with a grown man. Asher thought this was strange since he'd never had a father figure. He ran up to them and asked them who the man they were playing with was. They told him it was their father, to which they had to explain to Asher what a father was. Interested in knowing who his father is, Asher ran back home as fast as he could, hoping to get some answers from his mother.

When he returned home, he asked his mother who his father was and when he could meet him. She laughed in his face and responded with she'd killed him and that he was just another person slowing her down. She then told Asher to go sit in a corner for an hour for bringing up his father to her. Asher started to develop a sense of hatred for the world after being told this and began to hate his mother and everyone else.

After a few more years of undergoing relocation and punishment, Asher finally returned to his hometown of Anderlecht with his mother. It was here that Asher's life began to look up for once. Asher was out buying groceries one day, when he met a girl, Norah, about the same age as him (fifteen). The girl introduced herself to Asher, saying that he had pretty eyes. Asher had made his first friend.

Asher and this girl would spend time together, more and more. Eventually, he grew to love the world instead, and everyone and everything in it. He believed everything was beautiful in its own little way. Not even his mother's abuse could get to him anymore.

Asher's mother's mental instability seemed to progressively get worse and worse, to the point of insanity. One day when Asher and Norah were going out to a park to spend time with each other, Asher's mother followed the two, unnoticed. Asher opened up to Norah, telling her about his abuse as a child and never knowing who his father was. After a few hours, it began to get very dark and Norah said she had to get home, to which Asher agreed and hugged her goodbye.

On his way home, Asher noticed his mother going somewhere. This was strange to Asher, because she never left home without an extremely good reason. Worried for his mother's safety, Asher decided to follow after her to see where she was headed. Eventually, they reached Norah's home.

Asher watched his mother from a distance, wondering how she knew where Norah lived, seeing as he's never even mentioned her to his mother. Asher's mother knocked on the door to which Norah answered. Grabbing Norah by the arm, Asher's mother pulled her out of her house and began to drag her out into the street. Asher quickly confronted his mother, asking her what she was doing. She told him he was getting weak and that he hadn't even unlocked his weapon powers yet. Asher had no idea what she was talking about and took what she was saying as some mindless rambling. His mother took out a knife and began to stab Norah in the leg with it and then threw her off to the side. Asher angrily charged at his mother with his fist clenched, ready to punch her.

What happened next shocked Asher for the rest of his life. Blinded by his fury, Asher never realized that his fist had transformed into a tip of a long sword. His mother had grabbed Norah again quickly to use her as a human shield and Asher had ended up impaling Norah. His mother smiled, pleased with what her son had done.

Devastated with what'd happened, Asher fell to his knees, heartbroken. His mother forced him to eat the soul of his beloved friend. She promised him everything would be alright, everything would be fine. Another thing happened that would change Asher's life for the rest of his life. His mother got stabbed from behind. Asher sat upright to see who'd done it. He looked up and saw some people wearing a badge that said "DWMA" on it. They told Asher they saw everything and were waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They explained to him his mother was a witch, and that she needed to be put down. When Asher asked why, they didn't tell him. They told Asher they could offer him a new life in Death City, Nevada. Asher agreed, but said he needed to gather some belongings from back at his house before he left.

When Asher got home, he went trying to collect everything he could. He stumbled across a secret journal that belonged to both his mother and father. It had a lock on it and a note attached to it, saying that the key to it was somewhere in Death City and that it would explain everything to Asher. With a new purpose, Asher realized he needed to go with these people and figure out everything he could.


Asher's dreams and goals are to figure out who his father was and what crimes his mother had committed.

Asher has a photo of Norah that he keeps with him at all times. He also visits her home once every year, on the day of her death.
