Appearance:
Akuma has short reddish brown hair that rests down just barely below his chin. Standing also about 5'6 in height and around the weight of about 120 lb he is a rather thin man. He typically is found wearing outfits that are rather casual and comfortable. Usually his uniform is accompanied by a cropped jacket which comes in colors between a orangish red or a black with white trim. The shirts he wears can generally vary, though typically it always comes easy fitting and comfortable. Among all of these things though, he does generally have one trait about him that stands out among others. His crimson red eyes which glisten in any kind of light. In darkness though, when the shadows are cast over the red, his eyes give off a eerie feel.

Personality:
Akuma typically tends to act pretty relaxed. He has the mentality that "all things happen for a reason." Typically speaking, he is rather nice to people. He doesn't believe in any kind of behavior that involves pushing people around. Luck has always favored Akuma so he tends to act very confidently and outspoken. If there is something to gain, he's usually the first person there. In his eyes things to gain don't only end with material gain, but with friendships and help too. He believes greatly in karma, this influences a lot of his nicer actions in life. He has a few quarks too of course. He constantly finds himself collecting good luck charms and doing different rituals to avoid bad luck. Most of these things involve throwing salt over the shoulder if spilled and so on. One of his personally greatest weaknesses are mirrors, he gets incredibly nervous when around them. This is a display that is rarely witnessed under any other circumstance.

History:
From a very early age Akuma found himself in favor. He grew up in a good family, one that he personally would never complain about. He spent a lot of this time learning martial arts in school. As a child it was a huge passion of this since it was a place where he felt like he really fit in. As he grew older, life kind of changed up a bit for him during middle school. He met some of his best friends at school, Ruki and Ken. The two of them were his entire life during that time. They were nearly inseparable. A lot also changed during 3rd year though.

During a late night, Ruki and Ken were on their way walking home after a late night at the school. During the dark the streets were empty and the lamps in the street were the only thing illuminating the roads. They began to become rather paranoid in the dark, jumping at shadows and sounds they heard. Ruki was rather afraid of the dark and so was Ken to a extent, but he kept a strong face. A large creature, a Kishin-egg had it's eyes locked on the two of them. He suddenly launched a offensive, the creature fast and strong swung out at them. Ruki, quickly turning in to a weapon in order to save herself as Ken rolled out of the way. Ken in a panic and hurry ran and grabbed Ruki, her form a scythe with a long blue edge. Ken wielding her in self defense deflected back the attacks of the Kishen-egg. It was a losing battle, though. Only a few more strikes remained before Ruki flew from Ken's hands and he found himself face to face with the Kishin-egg. In a moment where the final blow would be struck, Akuma got the drop on the creature. Slamming his shoulder in to him and sending him skidding back he stood defending his friends. The creature went to charge as Akuma grabbed on to Ken's arm. In a moment of urgency he turned in to the silver bladed sword of his weapon form. Clashing with the claws of the Kishin-egg against the blade he pushed the creature back. More skilled due to the time he spent learning to fight he was able to repel the creature back a bit. It wasn't enough though, as he was still a amateur. In a motion he wasn't expecting, he was sent flying from the impact against his block sending him in to a wall next to Ruki. Injured and hurt he sat here as the creature approached him. Ruki quickly turned back trying to get him up from the ground as Ken was still in his right hand. Akuma's hand grabbed to Ruki's arm and nodded to her whispering for he to be ready. Her surprise almost threw her off, although in one movement as she transformed swung her around the neck of the creature with his left arm and impaled Ken in to it's chest with his right destroying the creature.

From this point on, his life never really had that spark or excitement. Starting at the end of middle school though, he enrolled in DWMA as a Meister in order to pursue this talent that he saw and refine. Interested and excited, he was looking forward to finding his first weapon and taking on any task this school could throw at him.

Miscellaneous:
Akuma has a few natural talents that he was born with. He has the ability to resonate with any weapon that he wields as his soul is incredibly open and willing. He isn't born with much else beyond that, though has a natural talent for learning and adapts pretty quickly to most things.
