Alone

"I know better than to ask why."

"So what now?" Koizumi asks, questioningly "don't you need to go to your house?"

"Nah, not like anyone's waiting for me there."

"That reminds me, I have to continue looking for an apartment." she says, standing up

"You could stay with me," He offers. "It's a very big place, so it's not like we would have to be in the same room ever."

"Are you sure you want to put up with a girl like me though?" She asks, looking up at him

He ponders for a second. "Can't think of anyone I hate less."

"Sure then.." She stands up and smirks "I'll try not to make you regret this"

He holds out his arm. "Shall we?"

"sure..." She says, pretending to refuse him when she was actually just to scared to touch him.

Shrugging, he leads the way back to his mansion.

She follows him silently, not wanting to start another conversation

They reach the mansion. "You can hop a wall right?"

"Yea..." She mutters, easily climbing over the wall.

He goes up after her, and jumps down. Then begins walking, the turrets popping up out of the ground, until he reaches the door and looks back at her.

She was about 2 feet away from him, since she didn't want to be left alone with these 'things' around.

He pushes the door open, and walks in to the dark and empty main room. "I know it's awfully shabby, but I can't pay the bills on it anymore."

"It's cool, I'll just get a job and help you with the bills." She says, with a shrug

"Well, I personally don't mind the lack of working water and electricity, so I just spend my time training instead of working. If you want to start paying the bills I'll get a job to help out too, but if it doesn't bother you, there's no sense wasting our time to pay them."

"It doesn't really matter for me, I was just trying to be nice and actually repay you."

"Repay me for what? You need a place to stay. In return you can keep me from going crazy again."

"Should I ask?" She asks, with a questioning look

"Heh, I'm sure you'll hear all about that incident from all the others."

"How about this: a back story for a back story. You tell me about your past and I'll tell you about mine." She was smirking on the outside, but shaking on the inside.
