Finding a weapon. (Open)

"Just turned eighteen," he said, giving her hand a firm squeeze as he shook it before sliding his wallet back into his pocket until they made it to the cashier. "Held back twice over the years, so I would count as a sophmore at a normal school. I'm a double-ended scythe." He winked at her, chuckling. "I hope the piercings don't make you nervous. They're purely for show; I'm not nearly as much of a punk as I look."

Lynne giggled and said "Oh thank Lord Death, for a second there I thought I was going to have to report you to the man himself." She didn't know much about double-ended scythes (most likely due to sleeping through her meister classes), but Tony definitely sounded like an interesting weapon. She made small talk as they approached the buffet of food from around the world. Without thinking she took about one of everything and more until her tray looked like a landfill of food. Lynne's mouth was already watering, despite the unappetizing look of it all. "So why did you decide to get piercings in the first place? Isn't having another body made of metal enough?" Lynne joked while munching on a cheeseburger half the size of her head. Oddly enough she felt comfortable around Tony, she could already tell that he wasn't an ordinary student... Nor she an ordinary meister.

Grace got up. "Alright, I need to eat." She walked towards the buffet, making a plate with sushi and chow mein. She sat down next to Lynne. "I guess I was acting like a little kid there. I need to be more mature." Grace had lost her shyness after the disrupton with Droon.

"No problem. Besides, it's impressive that you're even in the academy at your age. I only came here a couple of months ago. You must be a prodigy or something!" Lynne would've said more but she was too invested in her heap of food. "Being surrounded by people... It's nice."

"Well, about a year ago, I was mugged and almost killed. I had been beaten by a group of teenagers and was left in a back alley. It was a couple days before I was found. They originally kept me at a regular hospital, but transfered me to the infirmary here. After I healed, the DWMA just kind of took me in." Grace had started to cry at the memory of being helpless, unable to move, and the screams that were her's but didn't sound like her.

"That sounds awful..." Lynne said solemnly, looking down towards the table with her hands bunched into fists in her lap. She heard Grace sobbing but wasn't really sure how to comfort her. "Are you alright?" Lynne put one of her hands over the meister's. "You know what? You're here now, alive, and you're here to get stronger. That's all the really matters, right?" She closed her eyes, giving grace a bright smile. She was going to continue eating, but the story made her feel sick with anguish.

Antonio joined them shortly, making his own plate and paying for the others' as well, waiting until Orion had retrieved his food and adding him to the tab as well. He came and sat by the girls, plate covered in grilled chicken alfredo. "You both must be gifted," he said, shrugging, "You're in the EAT classes, right? That means that you show some pretty extreme potential. Otherwise, you'd be in the NOT class."

"Well then I must be the exception." Lynne joked, easing the tension from the earlier conversation. She could see that Tony was trying to steer off the subject which was a good idea. "I'm a meister in the EAT classes who doesn't even have a weapon. I'll never understand how Lord Death's brain works." Lynne paused before realizing "Isn't lunch almost over? I have a free period right after, so if you guys want to go to the training grounds we should probably go soon."

Shizuka couldn't take it anymore and she'd had more than enough from it. The group had seemed like an interesting group at first, almost taken out from one of her romantic-comedy books. From an everyday book scene with two females arguing over a man in both hands, two minutes after it's ruined with a sob story out of nowhere! It's not even one page long and look at all this development! It probably wouldn't even get a 3 from any review out there. On top of that, they just had to take a seat next to her table so she could hear each and every line they probably got from a bad soap opera.

"How do they find this interesting? Social interaction is such a bother..." she thought for herself. Without even bothering to finish her food she silenly shoved her chair away to attract as little attention, hell-bent on getting out from this loud madness as soon as possible.

Grace wiped hear eyes with her sleeve. "Your right. Thanks." Grace smiled again, finishing her lunch. "Thanks for paying, Anthony. And yeah, we should probably head to the training grounds." She got up and picked up her plate. "So do I leave it here or what?" Grace asked Antonio, holding up her plate.

While Grace and Antonio talked, Lynne began to daydream and her eyes went about the dining hall. She noticed a girl; she was small, and frankly, Asian-looking. There were dark circles under her eyes, and she just did not look like she was having a nice day at all. The young witch took into account more than anything else that the girl didn't finish her food. "What a waste..." Lynne thought to herself.

Ooc: i like how you take the time to find OCs so you know what they look like and stuff.

Ooc: I'm so sorry about the late post!!! No wifi on the road.

Droon looks between both, silently marveling at how quickly a situation like this could go from excellent to awful! One was mysterious and sexy, the other was determined looking and seemed like she would also be a fun meister. He grabs his head and groans "aaahg, I can't decide!!" Luckily Antonio saved him with his suggestion. Droon runs behind his fellow weapon, using him almost like a shield from the two pretty girls. He peaks around Antonio's shoulder "Yeah! We should do that!"

((It helps me to envision everyone in the RP, but just incase not everyone looks at mine there's a reference sprite in my signature. 'Cept she doesn't normally show the ears and tail. c: Don't worry about it Sov.))

Grace looked at Lynne. "Well, I guess if we're ready, then let's go." She waited on one of the others to lead the way, because she didn't know where the training grounds were. 'That would be pretty impressive if I got a weapon on my first day.' Grace thought.

Droon moved to the front of the group, recovering his cocky demeanor quite quickly "Right this way!" He says, actually looking forward to this quite a bit. He loved to fight in the training grounds. Especially back when he still had a meister. He sighs a bit at the thought, hoping that wherever she ended up, she was happy. "So, as Meisters, do you two have any particular preference in weapon?" He winks at the group, flirting collectively with all of them "be it personality or weapon form..."

Grace turned her attention towards Droon. "Nothing specific, just as long as there is a blade or blunt end.

Lynne noticed the weapon sigh, and before she could ask what was wrong Droon threw another question at them. "Ah, well. I'm kind of the girl that'll take what she can get. Though, I do like weapons that have good wind power... If you know what I mean. I guess as long as it's sharp it's good." Of course, Lynne was referring to the fact that she'd like a weapon that would be compatible with her flying powers - and she wasn't even sure what kind of weapon Droon was. Antonio being a double-ended scythe wasn't completely out of the question for flying; it was still a stretch, however, if even possible.

((Should we be moving this to the Training Grounds section soon? I might be on for another 30 min. to an hour. :3))
