Inferno of Madness (open)

OOC: I'm reluctant to do so because it reveals a crucial part of Sylas's character that I would prefer came out naturally. This fact is known only to Sov and that was in exchange for some foresight about what he planned to do with Nebun...

(I just know I'm going to regret mentioning this but.... Basically what you're saying is that the only logical thing keeping Nikolay alive is an ability that's nowhere in Sylas's character sheet... has never been established... is shown to work differently from the first fight Glaucon and Sylas had against eachother (a burst of energy vs a passive effect).... Has literally NEVER been mentioned until this page... and was intended for another character with 0 publicly known details about how it works. So, as far as anyone on the site except for you and Sov knows, this is something you just pulled the heck out of nowhere to save a random OC............ And you guys are wondering why I'm calling BS on this when the only thing that makes sense is only JUST NOW being established 2 pages after it should have been mentioned.)

OOC: Alright, fine. I did briefly mention this when Glaucon tried to put Black blood inside Sylas in that first thread, how a slmadness overrode Glaucon's control and forced the black blood out. Since after the thread with Nebun in the Soul Locker, I have described Sylas as having a dual wavelength. Two wavelengths working together. This is because the companion is helping him. Inker gave it the name of The Remnant, and that is what it is. A remnant of the Kishin Asura, bonded to Sylas's soul during the first fight between the kishin and lord death. The reason it behaves differently now is because, as I stated in my first or third post in this thread, Sylas's wavelength, and therefore the Remnant's, is spread throughout the area. The closer you get to Sylas, the more in control his madness is than anyone else, and abilities with Black Blood require madness. That's as in depth about it as I'm willing to go outside of RP

OOC: In addition, I'm at work and one my phone, and I'd really like to hold off until I have a keyboard that requires all of my fingers and not just my thumbs.

Glaucon glanced around. The witch-meister, a Russian Death Scythe, Sylas, and it seemed like... Reaver? Yes, it was Reaver. He was a pretty well-known Kishin, after all. All four of them against him and Archangel. The odds didn't seem too great, however he had a few aces up his sleeve. As the fight went on, the flames he spread earlier continued to burn the city. By now, 15 more people had died and been absorbed into his body through the flames. The wilder and more destructive he got with the Dragon's Fire, the easier it would be for him.

"You're just like people discribe you, Reaver!" The Kishin shouted to gain his attention. A winged Kishin with lion armor wielding a sword without a complete blade wasn't exactly a normal thing to see. "We can destroy them, you know.... Together as Kishin. Once Sylas is gone nothing would stand against you doing what you want to the DWMA." A web of veins shot across the surface of Glaucon's head in excitement. "I couldn't care less what you do to the academy as long as this Death Scythe and Nebun end up destroyed as completely as possible!"

Sylas looked over to Reaver, a bit of the old him showing in his eyes. "Reaver... However much you and I hate one another... I always respected you. You were a formidable adversary. You held yourself with a kind of honor and distinction the likes of him," He held his axe up, pointing it at Glaucon, "Will never understand. Whatever we used to be, I ask that you ally with me for the singular purpose of ending him, here and now."

A mighty golden streak of light flashed between the group, and what followed was an extravagent array of lights and ceremonial popping! It is he! And he is here! The noble! The powerful! ...The nameless! Golden Knight! He charged right in, his golden armor reflecting the fire around him whilst making him radiate with a complementary hue. Slowly but proudly he raised both of his hands in the air, before immediately snapping them to a bicep pose. "Hm!" He grunted triumphantly, taking a moment to let the sights indulge him as he still held his form. "I came not a moment too soon! It's days like these in which my fists wish to to plant themselves into the skull of a wrongdoer!"

The knight had happen to stumble upon the location after he was on his way back from Rome. The city had been destroyed after a skirmish with a shapeshifter and a horrid demon blade and stayed there for months aiding in clean up, and finding survivors, which thankfully were somewhat plentiful when the amount of damage is taken to account. But now here he was, back in action and ready to fight for justice! "You there! Beast! Tell me your name..." He slowly pulled out his golden rod weapon and held it firmly in his hand, ready to strike if immediate retaliation were to follow.

"......Glaucon, you assume I am here to aid you. I am not. You have attacked a city, designed and dedicated to preserving order and prosperity. My end goal is to eliminate sin and create a golden age. Can you see WHY I would take offense at your actions." ArchAngel spoke. "I am here to give counsel to you, and if you heed it not? Destroy you."

"Listen well, Glaucon. The acadamy, Sylas, they are not your enemy. Nebun is. Cease and desist. Save your attacks for him. For if you continue on the path you are on...."

His arm began to glow. "I will burn you to nothingness. You have heard my ultimatum. Decide."

Glaucon barely glanced at the Golden Knight. What was his deal? First he tried to kill him, then he was saved by him, and now he was demanding answears? And Archangel... once so willing now turned against him. He wasn't compleining while feasting on souls in the wake of Glaucon's attack but now that he was no longer being provided, the Kishin was trying to rationalize his cause like a spoiled brat!

"Then you understand nothing of peace, trading one rationalized justice for another. Don't you get it? The Shinigami's power is pointless, wasting away as he sends out others to do his bidding, only caring as long as he can defeat the people he believes are evil! His academy only works in black and white with no middle ground. There's no balance in that! Just a power-hungry monster looking for control by a false cause." The Kishin's words pierced through the sounds of the flames as his head remained fixed specifically on Archangel. Almost as if he was acusing him of something.

"The truth is that the DWMA itself is responsible for more deaths than any one Kishin has ever caused among both Kishin and Witches. THAT is no peace, and you're a hypocrit for believing so, Archangel! If Kishin are defeated and you somehow survive, the shift in power will only create a bigger thread and being more bloodshed than what you stand against!"

Glaucon's body twitched unnaturally as he finally gathered up enough energy to make his next move. "Raig!" A large dragon-based Clown appeared next to him with a hood over his head. Then, almost as if on cue, Raig formed a greatsword and pointed it at Archangel. "If you're going to stand in my way..." Glaucon continued, "then you're no use to me!"

(OoC: So it's been almost an entire week, about 166 hours to be exact, with 0 replies to this. If nobody posts soon I will be moving this thread to the inactive section and starting up a new thread for Glaucon. Also, Sov, if you're reading this, Lani said something about you putting up new rules for Black Blood or something? Yeah, that was over a week ago... so you should probably get on that if you're even going to put it up.)

OOC: He was (is?) on vacation, cut him a little slack broseph

(OoC: IDK but he's had a good chunk of time and he's been posting in the Staff Discution as well as several other various threads on the site as of today.)

Ooc: I've been gone since Sunday, then I only have today before we head out again. Sorry I'm not available, but I DID put the word out that I would be gone. Nobody said I would be the one posting that either, I only has a hand in the discussion, nothing more.

(OoC: Well, as of right now, it's been a full week. If anyone wants to continue this thread, there's more than enough Staff members involved to bring the thread back and keep it going.)
