Basically, when you screw up, godmod, metagame, or be a jerk in general, the Staff get to give you infractions, which are worth a certain number of points. For example, say Member 1 has ATROCIOUS grammar, and refuses to fix it. 10 points, right there. However, more serious offenses are worth more. Say Member 2 decides he can be disrespectful to a mod. Boom, 30 points. Points reset every third month.
Scale goes like so:
-30 Points, 1 Day Chatbox (on- and off-site) Ban
-50 Points, 1 Day Ban.
-100 Points, Week-Long Ban
-150 Points, 2 Week Long Ban, character creation rights revoked
-200 Points, 2 Week Ban, all prior characters unapproved
-250 Points, 1 Month Ban, All characters unapproved, plus a three-week ban from the CB on top of that
-300 Points, Permaban. Your characters are all put up for adoption
10 points are for incredibly mild infractions, while 20 is more serious. 50 points are given for MAJOR infractions. Upon reaching 200 points, you are given a tribunal where you can dispute your punishment. Your jury will consist of a handful of Staff, selected at random. Meanwhile, another mod will be selected to defend you in said trial. You CAN forgo the mod defender if you so wish, and defend yourself.
At the end of said tribunal, votes will be tallied. All that is required for an action to be taken is a majority of one. Further, at the end of a trial, after the decision has been made, a staff member not involved with the trial will post a short summary of the trial.
