She laughed again, more expectedly and slightly louder this time, "Yeah, but he doesn't."

Glyndwr's smile turned into more of a grin. "Oh yeah? If he doesn't let you, then I'll make him. I'll tell him that Yurio is a bloodthirsty beast, which is not true, seeing as he is more of a giant scaly tabby cat, and then get Yurio to lick him! It will freak him RIGHT out!"

She had to pull her hands back to stifle her giggles and laughter, smiling wide and shaking her head at him. "I don't think he'll believe you..."

"I will have Yurio bare his fangs at him, too!" Glyndwr explaimed, raising a hand in the air. "And growl! Yurio can make licks of fire come out of his nose, too!"

She continued to laugh behind her hands, shaking her head all the while, but unable to let words escape.

"Yurio can look so menacing you wouldn't believe!" Glyndwr went on, starting to chortle in between words himself.

She finally had to excuse herself from the table, laughing so much that tears were beginning to come to her eyes. Slowly, she made her way to the bathroom, shoulders shaking just slightly as she laughed. Once inside, she moved her hands away, letting the sound go and working to control her breathing. Soon, she was blushing, staring at herself in the mirror and nibbling on her thumb nail, embarressed and excited all at once. Her hair had been braided starting at the left side of her head, where a maroon ribbon held it in place, but the single braid was over her right shoulder. She'd left sections of her hair out of the braid, which was what she kept pushing behind and in front of her shoulders and ears. The dress she had on was a sort of light tan, edged with brown, and fairly plain and modest, but it looked good on her and made her feel pretty. She smiled, blushing even more as she looked over herself in the mirror.

When Aurora left the table, Glyndwr took the chance to adjust his black suit jacket, which he left open, and black and white tie. This was as fancy as he ever got, but not far from his usual clothing. All that was really different was the jacket and tie.

She returned after only a few moments, her clutch bouncing against her hip as she walked. Her eyes were still sparkling with joy and amusement over his relentless little string of jokes, but her giggles at died down, now.

"Welcome back." Glyndwr said, smiling towards Aurora. This was his first chance to properly see what she was wearing.

There was that blush again, soft and betraying as she smiled back at him, "We... uhm, should hhave our food soon? I think?" She laughed lightly, nervously, and took her seat once more, spending several seconds crossing and uncrossing her legs, trying to not feel uncomfortable behind her knees. Finally, she gave up and crossed her ankles, the blush having intensified, and reached her hand across the table for his.

(Had to decipher that last bit.)

"Yes, I think so too." Glyndwr said, taking hold of Aurora's hand when she reached out for his.

ooc: Fixed. My bed. literally had just woken up when I typed that. Think my fingers fell off the home row.

ic: She grinned, "Are we going to one-handedly feed each other again?" Her tone was teasing, innocent.

(I figured.)

Glyndwr smiled a little and replied. "We'll probably have to if we don't let go of each other's hands and I don't really want to."

She giggled in response. "Let's hope it's not too messy then." Gesturing to her dress, she continued, "This took a liiiiittle while to save for." It was weird how just stretching out the word seemed to make her accent just the slightest bit thicker.

"I'll be sure not to get anything on your dress, then." Glyndwr said and then gestured to his jacket with his free hand. "And this jacket isn't the most expensive thing, but it's my only one."

"Then I'll be careful, too." She nodded to him, "I'm... not going to lie, part of me wondered if you'd try to ditch me or something." She shook her head, "Just nervous, I guess."

"Why would I try to ditch you? I genuinely really like you." Glyndwr answered, with a slight blush. "In case it wasn't obvious somehow."

"I'm new to this, remember?" She laughed, looking down,tapping at the spaces of skin between his fingers, where her own rested, "Jokes aren't new to me.... and I, ah," she shrugged, looking at him once more, "Think the best, expect the worst? I'm just nervous, as I said."

Glyndwr smiled at Aurora reassuringly. "Nervous is something I am too, I guess, but I just try not to thing the worst."

Aurora shrugged, her face beginning to hurt with the extent of smiling she'd been doing. "Do you... have family, Glyndwr? Besides Yurio, I mean."

"Yes, I do, but I haven't seen them since I was nabbed by witches and bound to Yurio." Glyndwr said, looking down at the table. "I went missing, searches were done, I was presumed dead and a year or two later my family moved away. I hadn't been able to track them down."

She seemed to almost recoil for a split second, her eyes widening in shock. Empathy and sympathy had her squeezing his hand between both of hers, however, and she tried to offer him a reassuring smile. "Hey, I'm sorry," she whispered, "I picked a bad time to ask but... you know, you'll find them, right?" Slowly, her eyes began to widen, and her smile followed suit. "I might know some people that can do it, too!"

"It's fine. And it will be a huge shock to their systems to find me alive, with a dragon, after six years." Glyndwr said, looking back up from the table at Aurora and returning a smile. He also put his free hand onto Aurora's hands.

She smiled, sweetly, innocently, earnestly, though small tears had begun to form at the edges of her eyes. "You can guess about my own family." The words were a breath above a whisper, "I'm... not like others. I don't destroy; I heal." A shrug, "I've been shunned. I left by their choice, not my own, and I know how that feels, even when my family thought me an outsider." Her finger slid along his, gentle and reassuring. "I can only... imagine the pain of being without them. We'll find them for you, though, kay?" It was like the last one caused the tears to fall, as the quick blink that accompanied it sent them sliding down, looking more like dew or the last of the clinging rain after a storm than tears.
