Storm's Apartment (Me and Squiggles)

"Man I need some more decoration in here." Storm said, leaving the kitchen table. He had just moved in a few days ago, and it was already getting to him. There was a stove, frig, table, television, everything he needed, put it just seemed dull. "Oh shit! I forget." The weapon said, sitting on his couch in the living room. He had invited Shizuka over to show her around, and hopefully get to know her better.

Shizuka was staring at a door. Her weapon's door. Why did he invite her over? They were partners. Just partners... Right? Her black hair was down today. A complete mess, covering her right eye, and hanging to her bottom. She wore a simple white Tee with black sleeves paired with black shorts and sneakers. On her waist was her blade, long, black, and lacking a hilt as always. It was the only thing she couldn't afford to leave in the training grounds. After staring at the door for what seemed like forever, she finally let out a sigh and raised her hand to knock once, twice, thrice. Three taps on the door before lowering her arm and waiting. Was it really normal for one to just go to someone's house? Whatever. It was too late now.

Storm heard the knock at the door, and got up to get it. "She must be here." He walked over the door, grabbing the knob, having opening it. "Shitty door." He mumbled under his breath. He finally got it open, then faced Shizuka. "Hey, come inside." He said smiling.

Shizuka did as she was told, shuffling inside and glancing around. She then turned to look at Storm. In her head she relayed what she knew about him. Storm. Chained knives weapon. Impatient. Quick to act. Occationally loud. Her mind shuffled simple words and phrases like she was reading her way through a file, yet nothing was said. She didn't know him too well. That would need to change at some point. "Wanted something?" She asked flatly, assuming he had invited her to help him at this point. It was the only answer she could find.

"Ummmm... I invited you over so I could get to know you. I mean isn't it normal for meisters and weapons to be friends?" Storm said, motioning her to sit at the kitchen table. He walked over to the frig and grabbed a bottle of water. "You want anything?" He asked.

Friends huh? Was this what friends did? "No thanks..." Shizuka replied, still puzzling over the point of this. Oh well, she'd let it play out and see where it goes. She glanced Storm over once. Loud, impatient, but nice. Interesting. [color=blue]"So... You live here then...?"[/color=blue] She asked, attempting to make conversation.

"Yeah, I live here. I crashed with Kataro and Spencer for a week, but then I entered a contest and won prize money." He sat down at the table, and took a drink of his water. "Then I bought this apartment. Sweet Huh?" He set his bottle down, then faced Shizuka. "So tell me about yourself."

Tell him about herself... Alright then... "Well..." Shizuka began in her monotone voice. "As you know I'm an assassin meister. I specialize in recon and use my quick movements to get the upper hand in a fight. I recently moved back into the training grounds by choice, because it's easier to just wake up and start training then to walk there from an apartment." She finished, wondering if that was too much. "What about you?" She asked.

"No, no, tell me about your personality. What you like, stuff like that. Training gets boring after a while, right?" Storm said with another gulp of his water. I hope she take that the wrong way..... He though to himself.

Personality...? She'd never really thought about her own personality... What was there to say? Lately she'd just train to exhaustion day in and day out... This question confused her. Her expression seemed to zone out and become distant. How was she supposed to answer that...? It baffled her. Stumped her. She fell silent as she pondered it. Waiting. Wondering. Before long she lost track of time. Everything seemed to be a blur as her mind drew a blank. What do I... How could I...? Incomplete thoughts would echo through her head.

"Uhhhhh, are you okay over there?" Storm asked her, as he got up to throw away his empty bottle. "You don't have to answer me. I'm okay with it." He headed to the table, and sat down, snapping his fingers to get her attention. "Shizuka?"
