Kidd/Daisy's Apartment

Jax was put his head to the table and started hitting his hand on his lap so he could stay quiet. "This is so perfect." Jax mumbled to himself, his face blood-shot red from laughing. He then took another picture of Kidd and his date and sent it to Chase. Almost right after he sent the picture, the waitress came back with his slice of cheesecake. Before the waitress left, however, Jax stopped her to ask a question. "Excuse me, what did she order over there? you see, im her, um, brother. and I want to make sure she is making the right decisions." The waitress looked over to where Jax was pointing and then looked back at him. "Oh, she just ordered another cup of coffee." The waitress told him, and then walked away. Jax shook his head, smiling, and picked up his fork to take a tiny bite of his cheesecake. While Jax was munching in the corner of his eyes he saw the girls legs starting to shake. "Ok, Jax, think for a minute. I know for a fact Kidd could not get a girl older than him by a whole year. So either, she is the same age, or younger. I really dont think she should be drinking coffee at such a young age. Maybe I should-" Jax said, talking to himself. But he was interrupted by a buzzing in his pocket. When Jax looked at his phone he saw he got a new message from Chase. "Oh wow. Kidd is a real stud isn't he? I need to get some pointers." Jax read. Once he read that though, he just blurted out laughing.

Kidd turned around, knowing that wherever the laughing was coming from, the person her recognized had to be there as well. When he saw Jax, he closed his eyes and sighed. "This guy...." He muttered under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. Then he turned back around and looked at Daisy, sorry, but I need to go to the bathroom for a minute...." He said, hugging her quickly and heading towards Jax silently. He saw that Jax was still laughing, so he snatched the phone out of his hand. He read what Chase said and immediately began to chuckle a little. He sent his own text to Chase, trying to ruin their fun a little. "You want some pointers?" Kidd wrote in his text, "One, you could've just asked me for a picture if you really wanted it that bad. I would've even signed it for you! Two, you can't get the type of girls I get. You're not worthy, and neither is Jax! That's all I have to say. Have a nice night ;)" Kidd wrote, sending the message to Chase. "Having fun?" Kidd asked, putting a hand on Jax's shoulder. "Instead of being an asshole tonight, how about you go meet her?" Kidd said, looking at Jax. He put his phone back on the table and walked back to Daisy, not caring if Jax would get angry or not. "You wanna get to know a little bit about me?" Kidd asked Daisy, sitting down in his chair again.

Daisy had reached into her bag and touched the zombie soul while Kidd was gone, it comforted her. Daisy thought about what Kidd had said about eating the soul and almost chuckled, what a silly thing to do. Daisy thought to herself. Daisy looked at her hands and noticed they were shaking, bewildered she blinked and looked at her legs which were also shaking. Normally, Daisy would've been worried but she felt so giddy and full of energy at the moment that she could care less.

Daisy smiled at Kidd when he returned, taking her hand out of her satchel. Listening to his question Daisy nodded and asked shyly, "Why don't you tell me about where you're from?"

Jax looked at Kidd come over to his table and actually let kidd take his phone. "Wow, stranger, way to be a little dick-biscuit." Jax told him, somewhat frowning. While Kidd was doing, gods know what, Jax started eating more of his cheesecake. Once Kidd finally returned his phone Jax looked directly at Kidd and answered his question about meeting Daisy. "Nah, cause we both know, if she annoys me in a couple of minutes, I am automatically not going to like her." Jax then raised his phone in the air while Kidd left. "I better not see any porn on here young man, or you are grounded." Jax told and kinda yelled at Kidd. Jax then sat his phone down by his plate of food and started to eat some more. Then he, once again, heard the buzzer on his phone. "Dude, I think.... I think I may be gay for Kidd. I mean... Dat mohawk doe. He is like..... my hero! Jax, inspire to be Kidd. Go out right now, get a girl, take her to a cafe, and drink some goddamn coffee like a man you sonofabitch" Jax read. Jax then put his hands to his face and bit his tongue so he wouldn't break out laughing. Jax then took off his glasses and put them down on the table so he could wipe his tears.

Kidd smiled at Daisy, always loving to talk about himself. "A little about myself? I'm the greatest, from a land of legends, and I kicked that guys ass." He said, pointing to Chase who was still laughing and in tears now. Kidd assumed that he got a text from Chase. He rolled his eyes, almost believing those two were gay for each other. He turned back to Daisy, still smiling. "But nah, I'm actually from DC." He said, reflecting on the past a little. "Man...." He said zoning out a little. He remembered being the best known soccer player in his hometown, and probably even his whole nation. He also remembered how his mother always disregarded him, sometimes as though he didn't exist. Slowly coming back to his senses, he looked back at Daisy with a somber look on his face. "Yeah.... I've also always been the best soccer player.... Like ever.... But...." He said, stopping his sentence for a moment. Pausing briefly, he looked down for a moment. He tried to look back up at Daisy, but couldn't find the will to do it. Kidd laid his head down on the table for a moment.

Daisy blinked in surprise. She wasn't expecting an emotional response. Daisy lowered her eyes too, feeling sad that he was emotional. Daisy touched his arm and waited for him to come around.

Jax took a deep breath and looked at his phone again. He texted Chase Its like there date is all seriousness and coffee. Is it just me or are you not supposed to drink a lot at coffee at age fifteen? Jax then put his phone back down and put his glasses back on. "I wonder if its illegal to do a fifteen year old if you're fifteen yourself." Jax asked himself, eating more cheesecake.

Kidd slowly lifted his head up, looking up at Daisy. His eyes seemed a little less brighter than they usually were. He shut his eyes for a moment, and inhaled deeply. After a moment he exhaled, and looked at Daisy. He put on a weak smile, still recovering a bit from his little moment. "Sorry," he grinned at her, "I just.... Never had the best childhood. But it's definitely not the worst. I mean, I came in a legend, I still am a legend." He smirked at her. He turned around, looking at Jax. "Hey Daisy, wanna meet one of my friends?" He asked her, still looking at Jax. He waved a hand, motioning for Jax to join them. He didn't know if he would regret asking Jax to join them, but he'd try to keep him under control. Unless he didn't go over there at all. "Don't be a jerk." Kidd mouthed at Jax.

Kidds reply was pretty vague and daisy pondered on it for a second. She noticed her whole body was shaking and looked at her second coffee cup. "I feel like I can do anything. What is in coffee? Was it made by witches?" Daisy said seriously. She pulled out her zombie soul and began to toss it around like a kitten playing with yarn. "It's so cute yaknow?" Daisy said as she began to snuggle it. "Why would anyone eat these? I think someone pranked you." Daisy looked at the boy Kidd was talking to and smiled. "Ooooh, is this a friend?"

Jax felt his phone buzzing again and checked it. "You see, there's this little thing called-" But before Jax finished looking at his text he saw Kidd don't some random shit with his hands. Jax then saw Kidd mouth the word "Don't be a jerk." To which Jax looked left and right, and then put his hand to his chest. and then mouthed the words "Moi?" and then flipped Kidd off with a smile. he then picked up his phone again and finished reading the text. "-Hormones. when a mommy cup and a father coffee bean get real friendly..." Jax decided to stop right there. "What the hell is he even talking about?" Jax asked himself, and decided to send those exact words to Chase.

Kidd grit his teeth and pinched the bridge of his nose when he saw Jax smile. He closed his eyes for a moment and shook his head. He raised his head up, looking at Jax again. "Come over! Meet Daisy!" Kidd shouted at Jax with a smile, waving his hand at him. Even though he appeared to be smiling, Kidd was indeed a bit frustrated on the inside. Mostly frustrated because he was expecting some shenanigans from Jax the moment he got to them, if he got to them. Kidd turned back around, smiling at Daisy. "Yeah, he's a good friend! He's the first person I met when I got here...." Kidd said, remembering their first encounter. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He remembered his loss to Jax, and that was only making the flame even hotter. Kidd was seemingly getting frustrated and frustrated each second, but he didn't quite know why. Opening his eyes, he turned back to Jax and smiled, waving him over again. "You two will probably be good friends!" Kidd turned back to Daisy, uncertain of his words.

A dazzling smile crossed daisys face. "Oh yes I'm so excited! I hope your friends will become my friends. You're my only friend here yaknow." Daisy quickly stashed the zombie soul in her bag, she didn't want anyone to take it from her.

Thinking about it, daisy realized Kidd was her only friend. She grew up surrounded by family and isolated in the woods her entire life. Sure, she made friends with the forest animals but they couldn't really talk back. Daisy kept a positive face but wa actually getting pretty bummed out.

Daisy looked up at Kidd and smiled, realizing that's all behind her now and she's going to have a great future with Kidd.

Jax smiled even wider, like her actually was honored to meet Kidd's...... Girlfriend.....Close freind.... Cousin....Whatever. But truthfully, he was certainly fine sitting right where he was. So, he put both of his hands on each side of his face, then gave, kidd specifically, two middle fingers. He then took another bit of his cheesecake, and once he swallowed that bite he looked at them again, still smiling his ass off.

Kidd felt a burning sensation well up within himself. He began breathing in short, rapid breaths. Watching Jax's immaturity set him off. He began to grin wildly at Jax, even though there was nothing to smile at. The anger within him was so strong he felt himself go numb. When he turned back around in his chair he slammed his hand on the table, cracking it in half. "I'M SO TIRED OF YOUR SHIT, JAX!" He yelled at Jax, forgetting about Daisy. Even though Kidd felt like he was completely in control of himself, he knew he wasn't. It happened gradually, but he felt himself pushed over the edge. He wasn't sane right now, he felt different. Maybe these were the hazards of Madness that he'd learned in the academy. Kidd got out of his chair and threw it across the restaurant, at no one in particular. He stared down Jax with a fire burning in his eyes. "The greatest will NOT tolerate this...." Kidd whispered to himself, grinning madly at Jax.

Daisy cringed in fear, her eyes wide. What had gotten into him? Other people began to notice this scene and started whispering. Daisy turned red in embarrassment and covered her face with her hands. Daisy almost felt immobilized with embarrassment.

What got Kidd so angry? Was it that weird hand movement his friend made at him. Daisy had never seen such a gesture before. Daisy realized it was probably an offensive gesture and lifted her head and looked at Kidd, ashamed she had hidden instead of stand by her partner.

Daisy stood up and walked over by Kidd. She crossed her arms and glared at jax.

Jax, meanwhile, was recording the whole temper tantrum Kidd had, just to laugh at it later. He then immediately sent it to Chase and put his phone away. "Kidd, first of all, you're not a goddamn legend for christ sake. Me and you girlfriend here are probably the only people who knows your name. Secondly, I try my best, every day, I get good grades, kick some ass, meet new people. I came here looking for a relaxing break from people. People like you. I mean, Do you know what its like going through life being better than everybody? Its hard." Jax told Kidd, pushing by the two of them. "Also, i'm not, and I repeat, I am not. Going to loan you money to pay for the table and chair. Stop being a brat and thinking you can make friends with everybody, and stop doing temper tantrums. fix those two things, then will talk." Jax told Kidd, now walking away from him.

Kidd looked around, realizing the commotion he'd just caused. He glanced over at Daosy and smiled, he knew he'd found a keeper. Kidd admired his weapon's loyalty to him, even when there was no reason to be angry and fight Jax. A smirk grew on Kidd's face as he watched Jax start to exit the restaurant. "You know what Jax? You're right. Being greater than everyone else is hard. But being the GREATEST out everyone is even harder. Welllll.... For people like you at least.... But then again.... You'll never know about being up there. Me? I can handle the pressure. You need a break from people like ME, because we put people like YOU down just by existing. People that think they're hot shit. And for the last time Jax, I'm not a kid. I'm a Kidd. The day you acknowledge that is the day you can truly find inner peace and converse with the greatest. Until then, I'll catch you later." He smiled, watching Jax exit the building. A waitress walked by, mouth gaping open at the scene before her. "We'll take our food to go." Kidd told her, waving her off. "Daisy...." He said, turning to his partner awkwardly, "I'm sorry that I got ourselves into this situation. But I just don't back down to anyone. Especially not Jax. I hope you can forgive me...." He trailed off, looking Daisy straight in the eye.

Daisys eyes widened in surprise by his outburst. He said they were friends?! Daisy was embarrassed by all the attention, and was blushing pretty heavily. Daisy stood tall though, not going to abandon her meister. When the whole thing was finished and he turned to look at her and daisy gave him a pretty smile and wrapped her arms around his shoulders giggling. "It's cool, I think you're brave!" Daisy said watching the waitress walk back towards them.
