Weapon Form: Nihlus's weapon form is a spear-like staff about 5 ft long with blue cloth wrapped around the black shaft. The length of its silvery blade is that of a Roman gladius that sports an ice-like pattern including a pattern of cracked ice near where the blade meets the staff. The other end of the staff holds a sapphire in the shape of a large egg resting on a cracked, silver ring and glows rather faintly.

Appearance:
Standing around 5 ft 8 in with whitish-blue eyes and short, dark blue hair, Nihlus has slightly pale skin and is generally seen clad in a light blue hooded robe with short sleeves with a long sleeve shirt and pants underneath. He has black boots and gloves with blue straps similar to the cloth in his weapon form wrapped around them as well as goggles he wears during missions that give his eyes a greenish hue. In class, however, he wears a blue sweatshirt rather then his robe and long sleeve shirt.

Personality:
Nihlus is someone who will be the first to point out mistakes and flaws in plans, but he it's more of trying to help the person out rather than to simply demean them. He overall has good intentions, but it can be mistaken as the opposite due to his sometimes blunt answers. He takes pride in his intelligence and he flusters and reacts negatively (or sometimes violently) when it is insulted. It doesn't help him that he has difficulty remembering things like dates and even peoples names, though he gets better with the latter the more he interacts with them. He's also a bit eccentric, with habits such as humming and swaying to it and reading pages aloud in a fast pace.

History: Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Nihlus, lived with a younger sister and his mother as his father was a cargo pilot for Alaska's international airport and was not home often as a result. When he was 7, he received a head injury after falling from a shed climbed to impress his friends, and while there was no major damage, it had left him somewhat forgetful and later ridiculed for it at times. His mother, as a result, had him participate in various exercises to help with this problem, including memory games, reading, and puzzles, with minor success. While the majority of his life had been rather tame, his most shocking experience was the day he discovered his powers as a Weapon. During a trip to one of his father's relatives on the mountains, Nihlus stumbled and sunk into deep snow. Panicking, he desperately tried to dig his way out with little success. It was then that one of his hands transformed into a blade. Initially shocked at this, he quickly used it as a makeshift pick to dig out of the snow. Nervous about what happened, he told his parents about the event. After a long discussion with both parents, Nihlus was explained about how there was a academy for people like Nihlus  known as the DWMA and that he can either enroll there or stay with them and  possibly never fitting in. His decision was ultimately in the DWMA where made a promise to actually succeed and to overcome his faults... if he could actually remember when class starts.
