A brief recap: Following several rendesvous, Mira found herself pregnant with Max's twin children. They met at a hospital and he promised to take care of her. Now, they live together in his apartment and await the birth of their baby girls.

Max pulled Mira down into a hug as they relaxed on the couch, the evening sun shining through the window and drenching them in shades of orange and gold. He pressed a soft kiss to her lips and relaxed with her using him as a chair, his hands sliding her shirt up a bit to run over her distended stomach, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.
