It's Been a While (Rackie & Lani; Invite)

Just to enrage the waitress, Nunally smiled in a polite-looking, yet fake way and winked at her. "Thank you very much~! I hope your tips from handsome guys will be great~!" She said, pretending to be hiding her sarcasm. Yup, she stands no chance against me! - The meister thought, filled with satisfaction.
Then she looked at the pla- plates with pure shock on her face. Are people really able to eat that much?!- The girl thought. Then she started looking at what her friends had ordered for themselves, just for a comparison.

The waitress didn't say a word, merely walking off and away from their group.

Nunally, by far, at the biggest meal in front of her; there was zero way of twisting it to argue otherwise. Beside her, Jasmine had a large half-bowl, half-plate dish filled with pasta and various chunks of seafood, covered with a creamy basil sauce that Jazz was all but drooling over. Joseph's plate had a hearty, 16oz steak topped with a skewer of garlicky, grilled shrimp. To the side of it was asparagus and lobster mashed potatoes. He was already setting about cutting his steak, stopping only to move the shrimp over and continue. Beside him, Lily had gone a bit overboard on her lobster wishes. She had a crab-stuffed roasted lobster as well as a lobster bisque and the same potatoes her brother had gotten. Of course, this wasn't accounting for the bed of veggies and rice that the lobster was on top of. She was still very eager to eat, but suddenly realized that there was more food than she could ever have stomach. Her face flushed softly.

Nunally sighed in relief when the waitress finally left. Finally, the strange feeling, that probably was jealousy was gone. She could focus on the food. There's too much for me... If I were to eat all of this,
my stomach would explode!- The girl thought. Nana looked at Joseph with wide, slightly shocked eyes. "J-J-Joseph? Are you sure this isn't for you?" Asked the meister, just to make sure.

He chuckled at her, finishing up cutting his own steak as Jasmine's habits and a slight nudge from him had her doing the same for Jasmine, slicing the steak into reasonable, bite-sized pieces. "Absolutely sure," the weapon told her, a pleasant smile as he began popping food into his mouth. Lily was already ahead of them, murmuring and sighing happily with every bite she took of her own food, and she was only on the soup.

The meister looked at the food, her face turned pale. "I...I don't have to eat everything, r-r-right?" She asked them, still a bit shocked to see so much food on one table. The girl smiled with a small tear of happiness forming in her eyes. "This looks so better than instant soups!" - She thought as she grabbed a fork and a knife. "The more I'm looking at this... the more I want to taste everything..." -Nana thought, feeling that her empty stomach agreed with her. The girl started the feast from a steak. A very small piece was on her fork before it disappeared in her mouth. An unusual wave of excitement went through her body, which wanted more. The meister didn't want to show it too much, she didn't want to look strange. Instead, she commented quietly- "This...This is the best thing I've ever eaten..." She could barely hide how happy her entire body was to finally have an opportunity to eat something more healthy than cheap instant food. Another happy tear. The meister continued the feast, trying to not eat too fast. The next were the shrimps and scampi.

Joseph did his best to hide his amusement, a task most easily down with his unruly hair; all he had to do was allow it to fall into his face. Polite and proper as ever, he merely ate his own food in silence, eyes flittering over to watch her every now and then. Beside her, Jasmine was working at trying not to shove half of her pasta onto her fork at once, though she refused to cut it. Still, she was eating at a fairly normal pace, a large contrast to their little sister. Prim as she was, Lily was so enthralled by the food that she was already three or four bites in by the time the others had made it through just one.

"Do you like it?" Joe asked, seemingly to no one in particular, as he didn't look up when he spoke.

Nana immediately replied. "Mhm, mhm~!" Before losing all of her self-control. She started eating with Lilian's pace. Forgetting about the world and enjoying the food. How much can one focus on eating when hungry like a starving dog?

Jasmine nearly snorted as she watched the girl, covering her mouth to keep from making a sound or losing her food. Joseph was all-out smirking now, not bothering to hide it as he tossed his hair back and set about continuing to eat his food. With how Lily was eating, you'd think it was a competition.

It wasn't a competition though. They both were just very hungry. One even more than the other. Nunally looked almost as if she landed in heaven. "Everything is just soooo gooood!"- She thought, trying to actually eat everything! Even her computer started complaining about calories and about the size of her stomach.

Joseph finished his steak soon enough, though he waited, sipping at his drink, before bothering to move onto the rest of his food. He seemed quite, overly amused by the whole ordeal. It was something he found worth waiting on the rest of his food for, and certainly something that he found worthy of his coin. She ate like she never had before; how old was she, now? Worry was beginning to creep into him over just how long she had been eating cheap food. He made a mental note to get her seen by a doctor as soon as he could; this meant that they would likely need to go through Savannah's family branch, as they wouldn't ask questions if she was the one patching in the request.

Nunally's stomach was almost full at that point. She needed a short break to give her body a time to rest a bit. The girl noticed Joseph's look, which caused her cheeks to turn red from embarrassment. She looked away for a second. "I-I'm sorry... I've forgotten about the world for a se-... for a moment..." The meister told him quietly. The food is just too good... I really want to learn to cook now...- She thought.

He chuckled, setting about eating his shrimp before replying to her, "It is not a problem, Nunally, really." His hand waved in dismissal.

Jasmine rolled her eyes, snickering as she clarified, "He's amused that you actually let yourself drop your guard enough to eat, at all, let alone to show how hungry you were."

Lily seemed content to not have the attention on her, and merely kept eating her food.

"Jasmine's right! I've dropped my guard! I'm relaxed, so I guess it's okay." -Nana thought with a smile and with her eyes closed. The girl giggled quietly, trying to imagine how it might have looked from their perspective. "It must have looked really amusing indeed." She commented before returning to her feast. Because her first hunger was satisfied, she started eating much slower, to actually start enjoying all the deliciousnesses more.

"There's more coming." He said, his words flat and almost plain, those his face held his trademark smirk. Joseph wasn't lying, either; she'd missed it when he ordered a round of desserts.

"Wait. More?" Nunally asked- her face expressed how surprised she was. Her stomach was already full! How can people eat that much?- She thought, already counting how much calories there were in everyone's meal.

Joseph shrugged, grinning wide when a different server stopped by with a round of to-go boxes and bags, while another followed behind him with an assortment of sweet treats. "There's always room for dessert." He said, that teasing smirk still in place.

Nana's first thought was- "I wouldn't be so sure..." However, the more she was looking at their dessert, the more she was tempted to at least try finding at least some room for it. "I dun wanna get faaaat"- She thought

He shrugged, taking what was left of his own food and boxing it up before moving on to helping his sisters with their food, as well. "There's plenty to choose from," he said, passing empty plates to the patient servers. The desserts they set on the table were about as varied as the food; three different small, sampler slices of cheesecake (strawberry, chocolate, and plain); a lava cake with vanilla ice cream; a giant chocolate cookie; and something else that seemed like some sort of ...boiled? creme? Jasmine wasn't sure, though Joe seemed plenty satisfied.

Nunally started packing food into boxes. She was fast and had quite a nice coordination. All thanks to the delicious food and her computer which was helping her make quick moves and decisions. After the girl finished boxing everything up, she started staring at the dessert. Chocolate cookie caught her attention. "Oh! It a cookie!"- She thought

Beside the cookie was a small bowl of ice cream, as well. Joseph's eyes followed hers and he laughed, gesturing towards the pile of spoons the servers had left behind for them to use. "Have however much of whatever you want." He told her. The girls were already proceeding as they wished; Jasmine had moved sections of the cheesecakes onto the small plate she'd been left, and Lily was busy breaking apart the creme.

There were those happy, cute little sparkles in her eyes. "Coookieee!"- She thought. Thanks to Jasmine cookies became her favorite snack. Nana took the giant cookie on a plate with an innocent smile. She forgot about calories and about how much she had eaten already. The girl started eating the cookie like a squirrel nomming on its favorite snack.

Joseph's hand had to cover his face in order to hold his laughter back, his own focus drifting to the cheesecake when he finally managed to calm down. All in all, it seemed to be that this dining trip had been a good idea.

There was only one thought in Nana's head- "Yummy, yummy, yummy! Sshoo shweet!" And before she could notice it, the cookie was gone- eaten by a squirrel-meister. "Jasmineee? Do you know how to cook?" The meister asked with happiness in her eyes

Jazz seemed taken aback by the question --- why wouldn't she? With a nod, she raised a brow at her. "Yes? Why do you ask...?"

With a grin, she looked her in the eyes. "Because I want to learn how to make delicious cookies, of course!" Nana replied, innocently. She really must have fallen in love with cookies.
