A Non-Dull School [OPEN]

"Well," she began, thinking things over, "I can show you to the your specific classrooms. I would show you the dorms, but you don't really have a need to. Otherwise, I can show you around the city." Evelyn pulled his file back out to see the copy of his schedule she'd made for it, her eyes skimming over the classrooms. At least the main three were in the same area.

He thought about it. "Around the city would be nice. I should be able to find most of my classes pretty easily once I get used to where to go, and getting lost might be fun if I arrive early," he replied. Who knows what you could find if you explore the place. He should be able to find half his schedule with little difficulties as well - find one, you find all three. Only problem would be if he gets lost during lunch time and misses out on food.

"If that's what you want." She said, directing them back towards the front of the school. It would take a little while, since they were pretty much in the center of the building, now. "So, what brought you to EAT immediately?" The file didn't mention his sister's involvement in his adaptation to his weapon form, only listing her as a relative.

"My little sister's gonna come here," he said simply, no trace of doubt in his voice. "I was bored with my old school, and since I'm a Weapon I thought I'll come here and give her a heads up of what to expect. Not that she really needs it, I don't know anyone more passionate about anything than she is about becoming one of the best here. Helped me figure out my transformations, trains hard everyday. And if I don't have a partner by when she joins, I'll be her weapon like we practiced," he added. He was very proud of her, and incredibly impressed at her progress and ambition. If anyone got accepted into this school,
it'll be her. "Also why I asked what age people join. I'm pretty sure she'll join now if she knew she could," he added with a chuckle.

Evelyn seemed genuinely surprised; she was a prodigy herself, but a twelve year old, as listed in his file, being able to meister even a sibling was a surprise. "She can wield you already?" She asked, as though she really needed the words repeated. She was simply baffled. "If she can show a staff member her ability to effectively wield you, and your parents approved, she could enroll right now." Evelyn was already pulling out the file to write a note in it, attaching it to the page that had his family information.

Virgel grinned. Bridget will be over the moon, before crashing into DWMA to sign up immediately. "I think you made her year," he said. She was alone at home now most of the time technically, so a boarding school with her brother wouldn't be too bad. And she's been working for this for years. Wouldn't take too long with Bridget giving her best puppy dog eyes for their parents to cave. He should probably tell her when she comes visit, tell her in person. And maybe after grabbing some pillows for when she drags him up the DWMA stairs.

The sound sound of feet moving across the floor could be heard up ahead, followed by a low tuneless whistle. Jet appeared from around the corner, this time wearing his prosthetic legs as he learned from his last venture to the school, and looked one way before turning the other and noticing Virgel and Evelyn. With a quick wave, he makes his way over to the two as they were walking through the hallway and just followed right beside them. "Hey there, how is it going? You guys exploring the school as well?" He asked, he felt like had seen the woman before yet he couldn't exactly place where. He frowned, thinking for a few seconds before asking "What are your guy's names, if I may ask."

The grin on her face was unmistakable, still laced with the surprised almost envy at the girl's already budded talents, "I'm glad to hear it. I'll bet she'll make a powerful meister, indeed." She looked back at their new arrival before the smile widened, quickly sifting through the other files and retrieving one of the other ones she'd found interesting: Jet Tucker. "Evelyn Borne," the meister said, beaming back at him as she tossed the smile over her shoulder. "You've been gone a while, Mr. Tucker. I hope all is well," she gestured towards the new student, allowing him to make his own introduction.

Virgel grinned back at Evelyn as she returned his faith in his sister. "Definitely," he agreed. When Jet walked up beside them, he gave a polite nod to the man. Mr. Tucker, apparently? "Virgel Sternberg. I'm new here, just transferred. Miss Borne was giving me a tour," he answered. Miss? Mrs? Mz? He mentally shrugged. If he said it wrong, she'll correct him.

Jet nodded, grinning at new student "Please, just call me Jet Miss Borne. But other than that I have been fine since I left the academy, I have became a Death Scythe and I am currently working on becoming a teacher here for one of the classes, or at least a substitute." He looked at looked Virgel "Well it is nice to meet you Virgel, you can also call me Jet if you want to, I am not that big into formalities. So are you a weapon or meister." He said before looking at Evelyn and said "Wait, aren't you the prodigy meist? The so called 'Death Scythe Maker,' correct?"

Evelyn smiled, both beaming with pride and flushing at the embarassment. She wasn't opposed to her nickname, but it was still a surprise, even now, to be recognized for it. "Ah... yes, that would be me." Before she could say another word, her phone went off. Her face turning apologetic, she checked the caller ID before dismissing herself, saying, "I should take this..." before walking off a short distance to answer her phone, talking into the receiver.


ooc: Go ahead and proceed between the two of you... Evelyn will find you guys, if needed, when I come back back I'm essentially on vaca right now and don't want to hold up the thread.

So his sister impressed a prodigy? She was going to flip out when she heard about this. And this person was a Death Scythe? Possibly even his future teacher, even. Cool. He gave a polite nod to Evelyn in farewell as she left for the phone call before answering Jet. He lifted up his hand, transforming it into the spiky head of his weapon form before transforming it back to rest in his pockets again. "Weapon like you," he said simply. "Though obviously not a Death Scythe," he added with a lazy grin.

Jet nodded to Evelyn, letting the meister take her phone call, before looking at Virgel "Ahhhh, another weapon I see. That is always nice, I believe your form is either a mace or a morning star, correct?" He raised his left hand, starting the transformation with a brief glow of gray, before the blade of his weapon form took the place of his hand "My form is a rapier, quicker and agile though it can't strike as hard as some weapons. So where do you want go to next kiddo?" He asked, changing his hand back

"Morning Star," Virgel confirmed. He remembered all the difficulty figuring out what he was when half the search results were flails. Jet's sword form was vaguely interesting, if a bit plain compared to what he imagined a Death Scythe looked like. He wondered if Jet had an element like himself, not that it would change much. The almost teacher did go through all the steps to become a Death Scythe no matter what form he took.

"Miss Borne was going to show me a tour around Death City since we finished up the school tour, though since she's busy that might not happen. After that, probably wander around the school and figure out a bit of the layout," he answered. He had nothing against getting a little lost. Then again, if he was supposed to start classes today he shouldn't get too lost. Virgel checked his schedule to see what day he officially started classes. Probably not today, right?

Jet nodded "Alright, it is always to good to have big spiky balls to smash enemies with." He said with a grin "Giving you the tour huh? That makes sense, it is a fairly big city with all sorts of twists and turns that can make someone lose themselves."

Somewhere during Jet's response, Evelyn found herself dismissing her call and returning to the pair, a smile returned to her face. She had things to attend to later in the week, but they could wait for now. "I'm sorry about that..." she said, her expression almost sheepish, embarrassed, "Will you be joining us, Jet?" The meister asked him, bringing her smile back to the surface. "Unless you would mind that, of course, Virgel..."

Virgel shrugged off Evelyn's absence, non-verbally saying her call was fine. She was employed at Shibusen, and a 'Death Scythe Maker' apparently. If she didn't get a number of work-related calls he'll be sort of surprised. Then again, he didn't know the exact workload of a high-level Meister or Weapon, so he didn't have any frame of reference.

"Up to him, I don't really care. I'm not gonna stop another person wandering around the city with us if they want to," he answered honestly. Whether Jet wanted a walk around town seeing the sights or not, Virgel didn't really mind. As long as it didn't slow the tour down to a snail's pace, he couldn't think of a reason not to invite anyone. "Though I have to wonder what my record says if I'm being escorted by a Meister prodigy and a Death Scythe around the place. Guessing that's not normal for a new student," he joked with a lazy grin.

Jet shrugged "Ehhh, why not? I ain't got much to do around here as of right now. Plus I can also show him some spots that found while out exploring the City." He chuckled as Virgel said something about his record "Then I hope you don't mind if we expect big things out of then, since you don't have a normal welcome."

"The more the merrier," Evelyn agreed, pleased to have another person joining them. She wasn't socially awkward by any means, but she tended to be calmer in larger groups, however draining they could be. Besides, the added brain power would help ensure that she didn't miss anything interesting in the city. "Are you both ready to go back down the stairs?" The question was somewhat a tease, but Jet's handicap was mentioned in his file and she was genuinely concerned for his health.

Virgel waved off Jet's expectations with a lazy grin. "Don't put me to expectations I can't hope to beat," he said. Sure, he wasn't going to sit around as pure average, simply because that will be boring, but he didn't want the expectations of a Death Scythe. He then thought about Evelyn's question for a moment, thinking over a possibility. "I mean, you're a Top Class Meister, right? How far can you throw a weapon down stairs?" he jokingly asked. Well, part joking. It would make for one interesting way back down. He was fine walking down the normal way, though.

Jet smiled "Well I can always agree on more people in a group." He looked at the young weapon and said "Virgel, I can see greatness in you. Whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve it easily." He nodded at Evalyn "I am ready to head down them, the prosthetics certainly make it easier."

Eve kept a pleasant smile directed at the both of them as they spoke, nodding slowly. Reaching a hand out, she offered to put Virgel's question to the test. "I can throw you and find out?" She said with it though she didn't seem terribly opposed to walking with Jet, not that she had too much option in the matter, being a meister and all.

Virgel mentally noted that he was fully aware his problem was he didn't fully put his mind towards anything, but didn't comment. Explaining that and having a whole conversation about his lack of ambitions would be boring. He was going to correct the naive optimism on Jet's part, though. "I wouldn't advise you to see greatness in everyone you just met," he stated, not really one for Jet's attempt at morale boosting on someone he barely knows. Not pessimism, just a cold fact.

As for Evelyn's offer, Virgel lazily grinned. Now that sounded fun. "Should be a lot faster than walking," he stated. He transformed into his weapon form, landing as a Morningstar in the Meister's open hand. Since she was a prodigy he figured he shouldn't have to worry about 'feedback', whatever that exactly meant. The only thing he might worry about is being embedded into the staircase. Of course, he could be completely wrong. A learning experience either way.

Jet just merely laughed "Don't worry kid, I have a reason for believing that, just remember that." He said, streching, before continuing "I bet that I could kick you back before you hit the ground kid. You want to take me up on that?"
