"In case of ambush, I can transform and you can't," Ana said, shaking her head at the sentiment that her going in first was more dangerous than Luna doing so  and at the accusation that she was going down before Luna so that she could could leer at her panties. Ana stood to the side once she reached the bottom of the ladder, hands in pockets, looking around as best as she could considering the gloom. "Doesn't smell very sewery... Not that I've been in any."

"Wha..?" Yurio reacted in the same way, though only because he didn't understand what she actually said in the Scottish dialect.

Once Luna reached the bottom she looked around herself and shrugged. "In case of ambush, I can shoot beams of death out of my fingers." She countered Ana's argument. "Also, I can transform too." The wolf witch added. Luna crossed her arms on her chest and looked around once more. "Doesn't look sewery either." She said calmly. Unlike Ana, she didn't even comment about being in the sewers herself.

"I can speak like a Scottish person, but I've chosen not to." Elizabeth simply explained.
"She's... surprisingly good at hiding her accent too... I've never heard her use Scottish before." Aurora said, still in deep shock. It wasn't her mother that was good at hiding their accent either. "Wait! Does it mean that grandpa..." She said but got interrupted by her mother
"Indeed. He's a born Scotsman" Eliza said.
Aurora hid her face in Yurio's arm and let out a groan. "What the hell... It turns out I know nothing about my own family... What a bunch of trolls." She whined.
"Anyway, Yurio, how does a one-week vacation sound?" Elizabeth finally asked.

"Yeah, but, is that quicker than me changing and having you shoot stronger beams of death?" Ana asked, then added, just as Luna had done, "But your transformation is meaty, and mine is very hard to damage."

"Uhm... I don't even know who laid my egg, so there," Yurio said while patting Aurora's head in an effort soothe Aurora's... Whatever the whining was going to turn into. "I like going places, so it sounds like fun."

"Still, I'm a wolf. Primal instincts of humans aren't too complicated when it comes to their natural fear of wild, dangerous animals." Luna said shrugging. "Should we... start exploring?" She asked, realizing that just standing there doing nothing wouldn't get them any closer to dealing with their target.

"You don't know who your mother is..?" Eliza asked, raising her eyebrows. She seemed slightly surprised.
"Oh..." Aurora looked up at Yurio and then hugged him tightly. "Sorry for whining... I wasn't being serious." she said.

"That is assuming that their fight or flight reaction will land on flight, when they're already on the attack. No, it's still safer for me," Ana said as she took hold of Luna's hand to then transform into her weapon form. "Lets."

"Oh, I wasn't saying that as, like, an 'I've got it worse' sort of thing, but more like 'Not knowing things is fine, look at me,'" Yurio explained, quickly trying to dispel any chance of it being taken as something it wasn't. "So yeah, I don't know anything, but it's fine. Glyn and I consider this nice lady called Tanya our mother, although the last time I saw her I was still just a dragon, so maybe it's not quite like that with me, but then again, she is really nice... Ehm. Enough about that! A holiday sounds nice!" Yurio seemed to get more flustered as his tangent continued, in the end waving his arms about to try his best to brush the subject aside entirely.

Luna swung the weapon a few times, just to get the feel of it again. After all, it'd been a while since they last hunted. Once she was done playing around, she picked a direction and just started walking, hoping she'd picked the direction correctly. "Have I ever mentioned how much I like your weapon form?" Luna asked.

In response to Yurio getting more and more flustered, Elizabeth started smiling wider and wider, her eyes filled with amusement. When he changed the subject, she let out a laughter. "I like you. Aurora has a fine taste in men." She told him and smiled in a friendly way.
In response to both Yurio's words as well as her mother's, Aurora only hugged him tighter and stared at her mother with fake jealousy and smirked. "He's mine! Mine only!" She announced.

"No, I don't think you've ever said it, but I think I suit you," Ana said, appearing in the surface of the ball at the top of staff.

"All yours," Yurio said, happily allowing himself to be squeezed by Aurora, smiling widely. "Oh, and I think that's the first time I've seen you smile like that," he said to Eliza. He couldn't think of another time off the top of his head where Eliza didn't have the same polite expression held firmly on her features.

"You suit me and I suit you. We're really lucky to have each other." Luna said as she kept walking. She was proceeding slowly and carefully, expecting to be attacked at any time. The complete darkness they found themselves in wasn't helping them too much, really. However, striking from the darkness could prove advantageous for them. The only issue was... what if their opponents used the same strategy against them.

Almost immediately Eliza's smile returned to its old, polite state. She crossed her arms on her chest and winked at Yurio. "That's because you've earned it." The witch told him.
"Anyway, when would you like to go on our vacation?" Aurora asked Yurio.

"Don't you have any glowy spells?" Ana asked, unsure exactly of what Luna was capable of. She wasn't present for her Witch classes after all. 

"Whenever," Yurio answered with a shrug. He didn't have very much going on.

Luna stopped walking and crouched. "Well, magic usually glows anyway. It's just... I'm not sure if I want to risk getting spotted too early." Luna said, thinking about their options. Eventually, she concluded that her spells are deadly enough, so trying to be too stealthy wouldn't benefit them anyway. "Alright." Luna muttered, before mumbling her mantra. "Energy manipulation: create orb." The witch channeled her spell through Ana. She wanted to create an orb that would float around them and generate a weak source of blue light, powered by her pure magical energy.

Aurora shrugged. "Okay then. I guess we can start packing soon in that case. Then I'll just call Raccoon to take us... uhm... Are we going to Scotland or to Czechia?" She said. Scotland sounded better actually. Especially because they'd already been to Czechia.

And so it was revealed, now that there was some light to see by, that they were definitely not in any sewers. The walls were too close together and there was only a path, rather than anywhere for water to run down, and besides, the walls were indeed lined with skulls. "I... I guess this is an improvement?"

"I haven't been to Scotland before," Yurio said, thinking along the same lines.

"Not sure if this really is an improvement..." Luna said calmly, trying to stay as far as it was possible from the skulls and bones. Even while under the effects of her magic, seeing so many skeletal remains of human beings sent a shiver down her spine. "It makes sense to use the catacombs as a hideout though..." She commented.

"Well then... I guess it's time to visit my grandparents then." Aurora said and smiled.
"Splendid. I'll let them know you're coming. They'll prepare a room for you two." Elizabeth said.
"I guess we should be going shortly if that's the case. We should get prepared."

"Mmm. At least the bits that are out of the way," Ana said, nodding in the 'reflection' in her weapon form. 

"Yes. Uhm... I guess I'll bring my stuff to your place?" He said to Aurora as he stood up, then turned to Eliza. "Thank you," he said, before quickly leaving while waving to the two of them all the way to the door. It would seem that the idea made him a bit excited.

"Which is most of the catacombs apparently. At least from what I've read." Luna said and nodded. The place was basically a huge underground maze and only a certain percentage was open for tourists to see. Being outside of the tourist-designated areas was kind of illegal in Paris, but that didn't discourage people from straying off the paths. Apparently, there were even secret underground communities sitting in the tunnels and chambers.

"Yeah! Sure! I'll meet you there." Aurora said in response to Yurio. Once he was gone she exchanged a few words with her mother, before leaving the cafe herself. She rushed home to pack her bag and make a few calls.

"I don't know if I'd want to hang out down here," Ana said. The bone walls and skull decor really didn't make for an atmosphere that she would call inviting. Perhaps she just wasn't as much a fan of the macabre as some people.

"It's way too creepy and too cold in here." Luna said, agreeing with Ana. "I wonder if I should transform into my wolf form again to track our targets down in this labyrinth..." She said.

After a while, Aurora was back at her place, where she pulled a travel bag out of her wardrobe and started packing clothes for a week. She'd already asked Raccoon do to her another favor and transport them to Scotland, so transportation wouldn't be an issue

"It's best to be ready, I think," Ana said. "Saying that, it'd be kinda funny if you had to use me while in your animal form..."


Yurio, what with being able to fly both ways and all, arrived at Aurora's apartment in no time. He knocked on the door, duffel bag stuffed with a week's worth of real clothing slung over his shoulder.

"Do you think it'd work?" Luna asked, looking down at the weapon. Considering how witches have to chant their mantras and cast spells using voice, it could potentially be difficult. On the other hand, mumbling the mantra kinda worked for her.

A moment later Aurora opened the door for him. "You're quick!" She commented, before giving him a quick peck on the cheek. Then, she moved deeper into the apartment, into her room where she continued to pack her clothes.

"I'd function, yeah, but it'd be awkward for you," Ana said. At about this time, someone that looked like the sort you wouldn't want to meet in the street at night and much less in a dark, skeleton-filled tunnel appeared. Holding a mug of something, he rounded the corner previously invisible and stopped, staring straight at Luna and Ana in her weapon form. 

"La nourriture est entrée!" shouted the individual as they dropped their mug and replaced it with a short and heavy stick, lunging at the girls.


"Flying helps," Yurio said, leaving the bag by the door. He followed Aurora inside. "Want help?"

When Luna spotted a person in the darkness of the tunnel she stopped, immediately took a combat stance, holding Ana pointed towards the man. When the man lunged at them, she jumped backward, away from him and muttered her mantra. After taking a few safe steps away, she felt the flow of magic surge in her. Picking a safe moment (or an opening, if you will), she herself lunged towards their opponent, her whole body leaning very low as if to protect herself from any high attacks. She attempted to thrust Ana into their opponent's stomach and if that succeeded, she would cast her "Weak energy beam" which could potentially pierce straight through his stomach.

"Oh, no, I'm almost finished." Aurora said, packing the last pile of clothes into her travel. In total, her luggage consisted of a backpack and a travel bag. "Okay, I think I'm done!" She eventually said, smiling at him.

What with the darkness in the tunnels, their opponent didn't have much of a chance of adjusting to Luna's low counter. With the spike perforating his stomach, he shouted out in a mixture of surprise and pain both. While trying to bring the stick down on Luna, then, the energy beam made short work of his insides. With the tunnel suddenly illuminated, it was clear enough that their opponent was beginning to turn to ribbons.

"Okay," Yurio said, sitting off to the side as Aurora finished up her own packing so as to not be in the way. He stood back up once she was done.

Immediately after hitting him with the spell she swung Ana upwards, with an intention of hitting her opponent in the face, which was immediately followed by a swift step backward, likely a preventive measure against getting hit. As it turned out, it wasn't necessary, since it seemed like the kishin egg was already dead. "One bastard down." Luna muttered coldly as she shook all potential traces of blood off of Ana's spike.

Aurora put her bag over one shoulder and the backpack over another and then looked at the screen of her phone. "Alright. Now I'll just let him know we're ready..." Aurora said, preparing to send Raccoon a text. She knew it wasn't necessary though since the mad sorcerer had perfect timing. With that being said, she heard a rustle coming from her kitchen.

"Your transport has arrived! Just step through the portal and you'll be in Scotland." I shouted to Yurio and Aurora from Aurora's kitchen. Yeah, this is what I am now. Convenient transporter for every character that needs it. Oh, how low I have fallen!

Once the immediate danger seemed to be over, Ana transformed and plucked the soul from where it floated in the air. "You did good," she said, just before swallowing the soul and transforming once more.

Hearing Raccoon in the kitchen Yurio went off to retrieve his bag from where he left it, slinging it over his shoulder. Soon enough he appeared in the kitchen, visibly excited though not enough to go through the portal then and there. Excited enough not to question Raccoon's impeccable timing while standing by, however.

"I'm just doing my job. Effective use of my spells is a part of it." Luna said calmly and then shook her head. It seemed that for a moment she'd been a little bit too immersed in her magic. "Ah, sorry! Thanks, I'm trying my best." Luna added, more warmly and smiled slightly. She let out a sigh and relaxed. "I'm glad you're my partner. Fighting seems really easy thanks to your versatility." The wolf witch commented.

What can I say? With madness like mine, your timing is just convenient. Everything's calculated. Whether you like it or not. I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes. "So yeah. I guess that if you'll be in need of a car or something, you should just call my sister. Otherwise, my portals are always ready for you two." I told them.

Aurora stood in the kitchen, looking over at Yurio. There was an excited smile present on her face and a happy spark in her eyes. She took her boyfriend's hand and approached the portal. It seemed like she wasn't going to question Raccoon's perfect timing. She'd been used to it. "Ready?" She asked him.

"Mmm, I can do, like, anything," Ana said, agreeing. "Lets go where that guy came from."

"Yep," Yurio said with a nod, then remembered, as he went on through the portal with Aurora in tow. "Thanks, Raccoon!"
