You know, there was actually a theory I read somewhere about Crona's gender. Basically, Crona was born a girl. But then when she was infused with the male weapon Ragnarok as Black Blood, it changed her body until she was pretty much gender neutral. Which makes sense when you think about it because Ragnarok was clearly dominant over Crona and all....

So I would say that Crona's kind-of turned into an effiminate guy. I mean, especially since it's hinted that Crona has special feelings for Maka...... So yeah, I'd vote guy.

In both the anime and manga he is referred to as both boy and girl at different times. At this point it's more of a preference than anything. Personally I choose to believe he is a boy because of his behavior towards maka and because from a psychological perspective his actions are more in line with the male gender.

Also cause I ship him and maka..

I think once Ragnarok, a male weapon, was put into Crona she became a guy (because in flashbacks kid-Crona's got like a dress on, or so it seems) But then again, back in the day, it used to be a thing to dress male children up as girls. And we all know how old-fashoned Medusa is when it comes to baby bloomers......

Did this..... seriously get debated for.... ten pages worth of posts? That's kinda...... ummm. Un-smart. If you really think about it... Crona is two different people because of the parasitic blade. Crona could very well be a girl, but the weapon is definitely a guy, so therefore there could be two genders used for Crona. There may also be one gender for the two of them. No one knows and that's kinda the point.

... So how about we just say Crona is Crona. It's an it. Neither male nor female. SHE'S A MARTIAN!!! Ok, not really... But I think it's safe to say that this will never actually be resolved, considering there's not enough evidence to back up it being a boy or a girl.

Instead of he or she we are to use the word shkle. And instead of him or her we are to use the word shklim or shkler.

In the japanese versiomn crona is referred with a gender neutral expression, although in english it's not polite to call somewone 'it'. I think he's just gender neutral.
