Asuka's Apartment: Rendering Assistance.

Aiko knocked on the door to Asuka's apartment. She was nervous for some reason she couldn't determine. Perhaps because this woman was an older Death Scythe. Far more experienced...That had to be it.

Asuka opened the door, "Oh. Hello there."

Aiko nods at Asuka. "May I come in?"

Asuka nods, "Of course." Stepping aside to let her in.

Aiko enters the apartment, looking around. "This is a wonderful place you have..."

Asuka chuckled, "I've had someone keep everything up for me when I'm not in town. I've owned the apartment since I was 19."

Aiko nods. "Is there somewhere we can...?"

Asuka nodded, "Living room, or my room." she gestured. The kitchen had become a sort of disorganized nightmare with papers, photos, and notes strewn everywhere relating to the kishin.

Aiko nods, walking to her room. "I...I don't know where to start with you....With Sylas, there was a goal...I'm not good with broad healing...but I can try."

Asuka nodded, "If it helps you for me to identify the main issue, I haven't been able to relax at all. Much less sleep." Her room was neat and orderly. The sheets looked pressed and not a single wrinkle was on the bed. A photo worn from many years of holding it and rubbing the edges was the only thing aside from a lamp on the night table. In the photo was a black-haired baby girl with a bright smile on her face, being held by a younger, happier Asuka.

Aiko notices the picture, sitting down and patting the spot next to her. "How....How much would you like me to heal?"

Asuka shrugged, "However much you can."

Aiko pulls Asuka into a seated position on the bed beside her, taking her hands. Aiko's voice echoes in her head. Listen to my voice...lead me into your soul...

Asuka relaxed, not holding up any barriers to Aiko.

Aiko floats in the space between their souls, drifting slowly towards her, examining the damage. This is....I don't know how to navigate this...so many things seen, so much hurt...

Aiko nods, working on the smaller things, light problems with easy solutions. She gradually works her way in, starting on the recent problems with the Kishin and worries about Sylas, the operation, even anxiety about how the twins would perform. He really does worry you, doesn't he?

He has a family. A life beyond this. If anything happens to him, there will be a woman without her husband, and a baby without it's father. I've destroyed one family. I can't destroy another.

Aiko chuckles lightly. I was referring more to the Kishin...but it's nice that you care about some boy you've known for a little over a week too...

Aiko moves through the recent problems, moving deeper into Asuka's soul. She reaches a point where she can no longer move forward. Asuka, I can't go any further...there's something in my way...a block of sorts.

Asuka hesitated, concentrating on trying to take it down. But she knew what was back there. Her daughter. Her husband. Her family. Her mistakes. I'm working on it...
