The sun's bright rays shone hard on Cerulia's face as she trekked through the cracked desert outside of her current hometown. It was a beautiful day with a cooling, light breeze and little to no noises. It seemed like everything was in a calm, but not the bad kind. Tranquil, quiescent. The perfect time to train.
Yes, the woman again had nothing else on her mind other than training. She didn't even invite anyone with her, even Key, as she just wanted to strengthen herself through endurance. After the match with Nalik, she felt ultimately defeated in the fact that she was extremely exhausted from fighting him; nothing else made her feel more shameful that losing. She needed to improve to beat him in every category, or at least just so that she could win without panting madly afterward.
She took a deep breath, concentrating on stretching out her muscles before going on a quick jog even further away. She focused on her breathing, trying to keep it stable, yet she couldn't help but tire easily. Frequent breaks were made, with her stretching out her limbs over and over. "The hell...? I don't even know why this is happening..." She grumbled under her breath, her eyes sweeping the barren landscape. Much to he surprise, she managed to catch a glimpse of a person moving in the distance: a shadow, nothing more or less. Yet why was it familiar?
