Finding a Reason (Private, Lani Obliv, Mature)

Claire took her plate, nodding in thanks to Tony. "Uh, j-just a glass of water for me..."

Lani: He nodded, not needing to hear Jasmine's response as he left. She was avoiding direct eye contact, chasing food around her plate.

Claire looked over to her, smiling a bit. "T-That was fun..." She took a bit of her food, smiling.

Lani: Jasmine nodded, still toying with her food, trying to calm herself.

Claire fell silent, a little put off by her silence. Finally, she looked to her. "Did I do something wrong?"

Lani: Jasmine shook her head, giggling nervously before beginning to eat. "Not at all." She said, pausing only to retrieve the offered drink, a cup of Gatorade. Antonio handed a glass of water to Claire, Smiling softly before walking away.

Claire took her cup, nodding her thanks to him. After he left, she turned back to Jazz. "Wanna put in part two after he leaves?"

Lani: "He probably plans on making dessert." She said, shrugging. "It'll be a little while. Just enjoy the food, for now." Without another word, she returned to her food, occasionally biting her lips as flashbacks claimed her mind.

Claire looked over to her occasionally, seeing her bite her lip, but deciding to leave her be. She quickly finished her food, giving a contented sigh.

Lani: Jasmine finished a little later, far calmer now than she was before. She tapped on the back of one of the chairs, and Antonio returned soon after. He had two smaller plates in hand, each with a small slice of cheesecake, which he set in front of each of them. He then took their plates, nodding to both girls before heading into the kitchen. He cleaned off the plates, put them away, and headed downstairs to chill with Sarah until he was needed again.

Claire's eyes went wide at the cheesecake. She practically swallowed it whole with the speed she ate it. Afterwards she gave a contented sigh, rubbing her stomach happily.

Jasmine finished hers much quicker, blushing still, biting her lip occasionally at the memories. Unsteadily, she stood, taking her plate as well as Claire's to the kitchen and rinsing them off before popping them into the dishwasher. She came back right afterwards, switching the discs out before sliding back into the pillow fort beside Claire, draping her arm across the girl's shoulders once more.

Claire snuggled close to her, laying her head on her shoulders and taking one of her hands in hers. She gave it a gentle squeeze, blushing as she laid with her girlfriend under the pillow fort.

Jasmine remained relatively still for a long while, shifting occasionally to get more comfortable. Otherwise, her focus appeared to be entirely on the movie, though her random fidgeting and the flush that tended to take over her face gave her away.

Claire looked over to her, giving a smile that looked almost like a smirk. She leaned over, giving her a teasing kiss on the cheek. "Are you alright, Jazzy?"

Jasmine's face burned and when she looked at the girl, her breath stopped short. She struggled to force a smirk to her own lips, eyes intent on Claire's. "Why ever would you think otherwise?"

Claire got a little close, feeling euphorically dangerous at the control she seemed to have over the girl. She stopped her lips just a hair breadth from Jazz's, mirroring a move that she'd done during the Formal. "Just an...observation."

The smirk wavered a bit as Jasmine's pupils dilated, though she kept her hands in place, one arm still across Claire's shoulders. "And what..." she dry swallowed, "What are you observing?"

Claire leaned forward just a bit, giving a teasing peck on her lips. Her face burned as well, and her hands were constantly clenching and unclenching. "Just... how you're acting... Something on your mind, Jazzy?" The nickname rolled effortlessly off her tongue, smooth and almost succulent.

She closed her eyes for a brief moment, breathing deeply before leaning forward, pushing Claire back with a smirking kiss. "I don't know. Something on yours?"

Claire slowly wrapped her arms around Jazz, shuddering gently from their kiss. "Y-You..." She softly gasped out, giving her a squeeze.

"Aw," she said, faking a pout while forcing an overly dramatic touched expression, "And why is it that that makes you drop that little adventurous streak of yours, hmmm?" She moved closer as she spoke, eyes narrowing, smirk returning with confidence.

Claire's became flustered, her palms becoming sweaty, but she was too far in to go back now. "J-Jazzy... You're like a-a drug to me..." She leaned forward, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.

There had been a comeback at the tip of the girl's tongue, but it was quickly swallowed and abandoned at the girl's embrace. Her face, neck, and chest flushed with heat as adrenaline once again pulsed through her veins. She could hear the thudding of her heart in her eyes, could feel it and seemingly random points of her body, but the sound of television set was drowned out. She slid her hand from Claire's shoulder to her hair, tangling her fingers there and holding her girlfriend close as she returned the kiss in kind.

Claire felt a bloom of heat spread through her entire body, kissing her girlfriend with a kind of passion she'd not known she had. Her fingers dug almost desperately into Jazz's back, and her tongue boldly pushed between her lips to find and toy with hers. She rolled them so that Jazz was on top of her, holding her close to her.
