~It's so...~

Acacia had to admit, she was having a rather hard time with no memories of who she was or were she's from. She knew her name, that was something right? Acacia had made it a habit of wandering the city, looking around at all the different places. Stores, parks, restaurants, all very nice places. But nothing she saw or heard gave her any clues to her memory. She's been told that Amnesia can reverse itself with time but, when would she start remembering? Surely she would have at least remembered little things... her parent's names... or faces... or voices... Did she even have parents? She has been looked at by people, as if she looked different. She didn't see many people with light pink eyes or silver hair. But with all the people she has seen and the places she has gone, she never found the time to check the giant castle in the center of the city.

She looked up at the structure every day since she got here, but never made the decision to go there. Honestly, she was a little scared to. She saw a whole big group of people go up those steps of every shape and size but never once had the courage to ask one of them what the place actually was. Today, however, she had followed behind the large group of kids running up the stairs with their companions. Talking, laughing, smiling... why wasn't someone like that with her when she was in the dessert? Didn't she ever have someone like that? To talk, laugh, smile with? She hoped that one day she would remember.

She looked up at the large structure, and down at the steps directly in front of her. A few people outside the huge group were starting to take the trip up the giant mass of steps. Some looked at her as she stared blankly at the steps, some mumbled about her, but they all walked on, as if she wasn't a bother. None seemed to care for the clueless girl that didn't have the courage to climb a set of stairs to a giant building. What was she doing here? Acacia had decided to turn around but as soon as she did she saw a pair of red eyes and long lengths of dark brown hair. Acacia had a surprised face as she looked at the face of the girl in front of her. Silence taking over her thoughts as she wondered what to say. Should she say anything? Do anything? Would she just walk off like the other ones?
