All across it are golden runes, resembling the old latin alphabet, shimmering and moving across the surface. Its handle is silver plated, half a foot in length, with a leather grip.

Appearance:A short man, roughly five one, with a face in a perpetual grin, covered in light stubble, his blonde hair spiked up. On his face, a scar lines his cheek. His usual attire consists of a white leather jacket and black pants, with a panama hat.

Personality: Malleus is a death scythe. Dashing, intelligent, charismatic, handsome.

Also a greedy jerk. While he draws the line at eating pure souls, Malleus is MORE than willing to use his talents for his gain, frequently hiring himself out for mercenary work, assassinations, and other less than legal jobs.

History: The DWMA is a school. A very, very good school. However, every school has its less than savory members, and those who, to put it mildly, flunk. Malleus was one such student. Greedy and vindictive, he was kicked out after a rather unfortunate altercation with another student that landed them both hospitalized.

After recovering, he swore that he would become a death scythe without the DWMA's help, primarily to spite them. So, all on his own, he began hunting down Kishin Eggs, and eating them, coming closer and closer to the 99 souls he needed.

Finally, one day, he hit his goal, killing a Kishin Egg known as Butcher Bradley. His goal met, he knew he had one last soul to collect. That of a witch. Searching one out, he eventually discovered the lair of a infamous witch known for abducting and devouring children.

It was a incredibly difficult fight, and Malleus barely walked out of it alive, but walked out of it he did, a Death Scythe independent of the DWMA.

Miscellaneous: Malleus has the ability to cover parts of his body in a extremely durable metal-like substance. While hard to break, it isn't impenetrable, and it can only cover a small part of his body at a time, roughly a foot at most.
