January 18
11:11 P.M.

Over the last year rumors of a kishin egg rising rapidly in power and wealth has spread among the streets of Death City. Supposedly in a display of his new power, he planned to put on a lavish ball right under the Lord of Death's nose and get away with it. Directly under Death City to be precise. Among the many Noblesse that received invitations to this magnificent masquerade ball were kishin eggs, witches, and even a few DWMA students. The location was warded by witches to prevent it from being stumbled upon, even by those with excellent soul detecting abilities, and the many elevators in the city that led to the underground venue were guarded by silent kishin eggs who did there jobs without much incident in exchange for the hefty profit they were making. The venue was quite expansive and was a display of power that was hard to ignore. So hard in fact that even among enemies the people in the party found it hard to be confrontational since they could never know who might be watching them from behind.

This peace was surprisingly sturdy, and within it Keiko calmly waited in a mezzanine for her brother she had left without checking to see if he had received an invitation, but realized now that that was a mistake, she never expected so many people. She slowly sipped on some punch as she scanned the crowd, her patience began to wane, and her finger began tapping anxiously on the rim of the cup.

"Who the fuck does this person think they are?" Jax questioned out loud, pacing back and forth in his mansion. He, recently heard through a grape vine that some party or whatever is happening or something. Basically, showing how he barley remembered what he heard, showed that he didn't even care about the party itself, but more about the fact that the kid from one of the most powerful families ever, didn't even get a freaking invite. "I'm a mother fucking Ramsey!" He continued to rage, really pushing the "Fucking" part. He then turned to his butler, Dwayne, and asked him, "Can you believe they have the audacity... the freaking GAW to not invite me?" For Dwayne to, very nonchalantly, say "Nope, I cant believe that they didn't invite the oh so great and powerful Jax Ramsey." Jax looked over to Dwayne, and just stared at him, before finally settling on saying, "I'm going anyway. The Limo, Dwayne." He simply said, starting to walk towards the door.
"But-"
"The Limo!"

Jax walked towards where the party entrance was at, squinting his eyes straight forward, not even bothering looking at anybody else until he actually entered the party. And even so, once he entered, he immediately looked around to see who it was that was in charge of this so called, "Party" that somehow didn't involve the richest person in death city.

Astrid grinned widely as she watched the various events unfold before her. Ever since moving to Death City, she'd forgotten about the perks that came with being born as Astrid Slack. For one, she got invited to all sorts of wild and profligate parties, such as this one. There were so many people to mingle with, so many things to do. Astrid could afford to get shitfaced and do crazy things a sane person in their right mind wouldn't even contemplate doing. But tonight, she felt like she had a purpose. There was much more to do tonight than just get fucked up and waking up the next morning in her bed with her phone full of photos displaying obscenities and random contacts of people that she couldn't even remember. No, tonight she set her mind out to do more than just live fast and die young.

Just kidding.

Astrid was here to party it up and worry about the consequences later, not that they mattered. Her dear father would make up for whatever troubles and damage she inflicted to his name and reputation. The prick. Serves him right for never giving her a gram acknowledgment despite all the things she did to impress. Nevertheless, she wouldn't let him ruin this night for her.

Astrid happily and blindly navigated through the party, looking for anyone that caught her eye and was of any interest to her, if you catch her drift. She was perhaps the only one in the party without a mask on, but she didn't give a single flying fuck. All that meant was that the ones that were interested in her could move in soundly and the ones that didn't could move on soundly. Simple.  She bumped into a bunch of people on purpose, hoping that one of them would take the hint and make a move on her. Sadly, she was having no luck, running into a bunch of old, solemn men. People glared at her as she pushed by, feeling vindictive towards the girl. A young and immature girl like her didn't belong there.

"Watch where you're going, you brat!"

"Wait till I tell your old man about this!"

"I'll have you thrown out!"

Astrid rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at those scolding her. All she heard was the same old and hollow threats she always received when she attended formal parties. Man, this party was really starting to seem like a mistake. So many people and none of them wanted to loosen up a little and have some fun.

Feeling defeated, Astrid decided to retire to the mezzanine, in hopes that she'd spot someone she could have a good time with, or someone would spot her. Fortunately for her, within just seconds of searching, she already found the one. Like a star shining in the dark, she stood there, sticking out like a sore thumb. Nothing about her was extraordinary, but Astrid was intrigued by her. She just had to go talk to her.

"Hello, miss." Astrid jokingly said in a suave voice as she wrapped her arm around the stranger's shoulders. Now that she was up close, Astrid realized she was a bit taller than her, but that wasn't a big deal. She liked her women tall.

"So, what brings you here, baby?" Astrid squeezed the lady's shoulder slightly, and scanned the woman's body up and down. Although Astrid couldn't see her face behind the mask, just her figure made a part of Astrid suggest suggesting some suggestive suggestions. Astrid tilted her head up slightly, her golden eyes making striking up a connection with the stranger's green ones. "You've got some sexy ass eyes, you know that?" Astrid said, brushing the lady's cheek lightly with her fingertips. Snapping out of the trance she was put under, Astrid gave the lady a seductive smile and remained quiet for a moment, waiting to hear what she had to say in response to all of her teasing.

Oh yeah, she was bagging this one tonight, boi.

.
Slowly Keiko's gaze fell down onto the arm that was placed on her shoulder then inched its way up to the foreign limbs owner. When Keiko's eyes locked onto the face of the girl who the arm belonged to, she was surprised to see that it belonged to a lady. Despite her gender Keiko was familiar with her type, and she at first she decided that frankly she wasn't interested. Keiko came here to find out more about the enigmatic figure that had thrown this party to begin with, but. now that the thought was on her mind, it occurred to her that she may not be able to do that without interacting with the other party goers. So she decided that she would find out more about this girl, and not judge her purely based off of her first impression.

Keiko took off her mask revealing a small smirk and a raised eyebrow."Do you always flirt with women that you meet at strange parties, or are you gonna tell me that mine are the first pair of pretty eyes you've seen." The flippant remark she made didn't betray any of the bashfulness that the compliment made her feel. She sipped her drink slowly as she hid her feelings under another type of mask.

Desdemona ran a hand through her long hair and adjusted her mask. She had no idea who had invited her there. All the invitation had said was that there was going to be a lot of people. A lot of people met a lot of good chances for a meal. She slowly walked inside the room. She instantly felt out of place. She didn't interact well with people unless she was flirting, but she thought she should try to have a civil conversation instead of one where she lured people in.
She slowly walked up a pair of girls who were presumably flirting. "Hello!~" She giggled as she spoke, batting her eyelashes flirtily. Well, there goes the normal conversation She thought instantly, not minding a bit. Desdemona was straight, but any souls she could lure in were good enough for her.She curled her toes on the cold marble flooring. Yes, she was barefoot at an elegant party. "What're your names?" She asked smoothly.
