The Halloween Ball (Open as a zombie's coffin )

Ah, Halloween. The greatest holiday of the year. Luckily, the DWMA thinks so too. Every year, at the time of Halloween, the hold an amazing Halloween ball, filled with ghouls and goblins and cats alike. The ballroom was decked out in Halloween gear, with cobwebs lining the delicate chandeliers and jack'o lanterns littering the room.

Being from the UK, Jeremiah Rukin hadn't experienced Halloween as much as he would've liked. But now, here he was. Standing by the somewhat spooky blood red punch bowl, the weapon was dressed as a sort of steampunk demon. He used his old clothes in the costume, the ones that were burned and blood-splattered. The old leather top hat sat on his head, painted red and with realistic goat horns protruding from bear the centre of the brim. Jeremy wore no shirt, but only wore the old tattered (and now painted red) waistcoat on top of his bare chest. His brutally burnt bare chest. The weapon had even designed a new clockwork arm, with small spikes on the wheels instead of studs to keep it all together. Jeremy also had a very dangerous looking pitch fork in his hand.

Leaning against the wall of the ball room was Elliot Faye, or more commonly known as Ivory. His albino body led him to choose something that couldn't have been further from his personality: an angel. Ivory also wore no shirt, but he did have white angelic wings sprouting from his back and a golden halo seemingly floating above his head. The meister also had a small harp attached to his waist for added effect.

Danny was standing next to the buffet table with plate full of different kind of sweets. As he ate he watched people talking to each other dressed as all kinds of different scary things. There were werewolves, demons, and vampires. Danny himself had bought a Frankenstein's monster mask from a vendor in the market after he had heard some students talk about the ball. It fitted him suprisingly well, he looked just like the monster, although now the mask had a small orange patch from a pumpkin pie frosting. Danny didn't bother taking off the mask so he just had shoved the food throught the small mouth gap the mask had.

Crusher couldn't believe it. A party for halloween, luckily he had dressed in a hooded cloak with a scyth and wore a hockey mask. "COME ON RYU THIS'LL BE FUN! HA HA HA!" Behind him was his partner had her wings unfolded and her tail dragging behind her."at least i can have my wings and tail showing without having suspicious looks pointed at me" said the eight foot tall woman. "HA HA HA HA! People will always give you looks cause of your height." After that ryu gives off a low growl of dissatisfaction. "If you neeed me i'll be over by the punch bowl." as kage ryu leaves crusher he makes his way to food table.

Nana was standing near the corner of the ballroom for about an hour.
She came to the ball only because she wanted to learn more about halloween and about the DWMA students.
Nunally was wearing a hoodie that had a skelleton drawn on it.

She was wearing something like this:

Suddenly a computer that was inside her head found something about halloween
[Information: Halloween is a holiday where people (mostly children) dress up as monsters and go to people's houses to get some sweets saying "trick or treat" ]

Nunally looked around.
He computer brain generated some more messages
[New mission has been created. "OPERATION HALLOWEEN"]
[Mission objectives: 1.Search for the unit's acquaintances. 2. Meet new people]

Yitian was sitting in one of the corners, he was planning to look around and try to socialise.
Instead of wearing some costume he decided to just go with his usual clothes:


He started to look around, from person to person to see who he would start talking with first, perhaps someone standing out, it is also when he reminded himself of last halloween, yet that just made him feel bad, instead focusing a bit on what the people were dressed as.
"Hm.. All kinds of strange costumes.. But which is the most interesting?" He asked himself.

Jeremy had another drink of blood-punch when he decided to socialise more. Come on, his best friend ate rocks. An interesting woman caught his eye. One that was about eight feet tall and had goddamn wings. Jeremy approached the woman in wonder. "That's a pretty great costume. It almost looks... Real..." The weapon stared at the wings for a moment, then his gaze went to the tail. It all looked too realistic. "It must've taken hours to make that stuff. Good job!" He grinned at the somewhat intimidating lady, tipping the top hat on his head. It was better than some people who had just thrown on a mask.

The angel (hahaha) examined his area of the room, seeing the other "cool kids" that usually reside in these areas. He saw an emotionless girl wearing a hoodie and some guy that was... A samurai warrior? He didn't know. Ivory approached the girl to strike up a conversation. He had to resist tearing the halo off of his head. Ivory leaned next to the girl. "Who knew the DWMA would get this hyped up about Halloween? I know the principal... Or president... Or whatever he is happens to be the grim reaper, but that doesn't mean he has to throw something this big." The angel took a bottle out of his pocket and poured some if it's contents into the drink he was holding. Then proceeded to take a large swig.

Ryu was about to get punch when she was approached by a guy wearing a steampunk demon outfit. When she heard the compliment about her wings and tail she almost blushed. "T-thanks. Yours is interesting to peasant." she said in her usual monotone voice which was closest thing to a compliment whichshe rareley ever does. Suddenly some stepped on her tail and she gave a little wince of pain. Realizing what she did she hoped the person she was talking to didn't notice.

The girl looked at a person that approached her. He face remained emotionless, blank and cold.
She needed a while to reply him after he said something about halloween and the grim reaper.
Actually, she was just going to quote her creator's words
"Holidays are to celebrate." Nana said, using her cold and emotionless voice.

Well, she didn't really understand why does people need halloween and other festivals, holidays and things like this. However she wanted to understand, that's why she came to this ball.

The girl stared at "the angel". She started to analyse his costume and his appearance.
Suddenly her computer brain generated a message
[Information: This person is dressed as an "angel". In people's beliefs angels are ghost made by God to serve him.]
And after a moment she'd noticed something else.
[Information: This person might be an albino]

Jeremy raised an eyebrow when he noticed the flinch. Luckily for Ryu, he didn't notice the person stepping on her tail. Was it something I said? Goddammit you screwed up again, Cogs! You can't do anything right! The demon could feel a tear in his eye, which obviously made him irritated. Ever since he took that dive out the window, his brain hadn't been... Responding properly. Damage to the frontal lobe. He wiped the tear out of his eye, hoping she wouldn't notice. "Peasant? Well, I may be absolutely broke, but I'm not exactly a peasant. A knight maybe. Or a duke? Or the dodgy advisor? Maybe the jester? Even a headsman? I don't really know, anything but a peasant. Well then, your highness, let us feast!" He was making a surprisingly big deal out of being labeled a peasant. Jeremy threw the pitchfork into his other hand and took her hand, leading her to the buffet table.

"To celebrate, of course. But what do we celebrate? Events completely fabricated by the human race. I can drink to that." Ivory cackled and took a drink of his voluntarily spiked punch. This girl didn't seem to talk much, and also seemed to have a single emotion: boring. That's probably not an emotion, but screw it. The boy looked her in the eyes, giving her clear sight of the tattoo under his left eye , as well as the nearly pigment less pink that was his eye colour. The girl was very boring to look at to Ivory, since he saw a world of greys and blacks, and she didn't even have any visible red on her. "Come on, you need to learn to cheer up. I'm sure someone here knows how to party..." The meister chose the random boy sitting in the corner, in what appeared to be a samurai outfit. Instead of leading her there, Ivory nearly dragged her over to the boy. "Kind sir, would you teach us how to party?" Needless to say, Ivory was already substantially drunk.

When ryusaw him wipe away a tear she somehow felt guilty. So she let the so called knightlead her to the buffet table. Once they got there ryu saw her partner getting what she believed was probably his third plate. "hey see that person with the scyth, cloak and hockey mask. Stay clear of him."

Crusher couldn't believe his luck. Endless buffet equals endless food. As he was about to setup for his forth plate he saw his partner being dragged by what looked like a demon. "Hey. Looks like ryu found a new friend! HA HA HA HA HA HA! Think i'll just let her have her alone time today." With that crusher continues to pile food onto the plate he had.

Yitian started walking to the buffet table getting himself a plate before looking towards the people standing close to him, he searched his memory to see if he had not met one of them yet, but it seemed like he knew none of the people there.

Walking over to someone with a scythe a cloak and a hockey mask. "Hey there, they sure got a lot of food don't you think?"
He said, looking back towards the table.
Hm.. Wonder how many more are comming. He thought.
It seemed like not too many people were here, but he did not mind the space, he actually liked it.

[Information: The albino is probably drunk]
Nana didn't really know what to do. She couldn't have feelings, she couldn't be happy she couldn't know how to party. But deep inside she would like to have feelings like everyone. It was her tiny brain's desire. A desire that was for Nana more than incomprehensible.
[Recommendation: Tell the albino what the unit is]
"I'm sorry sir, but I probably cannot be teached how to party. I'm a genetic modified clone controlled by a computer located in my skull. I've got not feelings." Nunally spoke to the albino with the same cold voice.
Deep inside she didn't want this to be true. But it was just like a quiet whisper.

As crusher was about to add the last item on his plate he was approached by someone that looked like a samurai who said that there was alot of food. "Yeah! To be honest i'm on my fourth plate. HA HA HA HA HA! I'M SURPRISED THAT NO ONE'S CAME TO KICK ME OUT YET!" Crusher set's down the plate and looks to the samurai. "That's a pretty sweet costume man." Crusher then gives the samurai a thumbs up. "The names crusher whats yours?" Crusher then puts his right hand out to greet the stranger.

Yitian smiled lightly, looking at the amount of food."Or maybe they did not expect many to be here." He said, smiling lightly. Sure is a lot of food compared to the amount of people here. He thought.

He then raised a brow, looking down at his clothes"What costume are you talking about?" He asked, slufhtly confused as he looked back up.
This person seemed.. Energetic? He couldn't find the right word for it, but he was interesting.

"The name's Yitian, nice to meet you." He said, as he raised hus hand to shake Crusher's hand.

Jeremy looked over to the boy she indicated. He had no idea why she requested this, but he could roll with it. "Of course. I'll stay away from a reaper wannabe anyday!" He grinned and took a triangular sandwich from the buffet table, then took a second and offered it to Ryu. Something seemed... Off about her. Maybe the fact she was right feet tall? Or maybe the fact her wings and tail were way too realistic for comfort? Something just seemed... Wrong.

Ivory felt quite insulted when the "samurai" brushed them off and left to the buffet table. "Well that guy's a bit rude. And... Clone is such a strong word. How about 'replica?'" It was a strange reaction considering what he had just been told, but he was drunk. "And you can't have NO emotions! How about anger? Or pleasure?" Ivory thought for a few moments, going over the possibilities. Then he snapped his fingers. "Well, we'll just have to teach ourselves to party, won't we?" The albino pulled the bottle back out of his pocket and offered it to the girl.

The girl was going to correct his words and say that she is a clone not a replica and she can't feel angry and can't feel pleasure.
But then he offered her the bottle.
Nunally looked at it, not sure what to do.
[Recommendation: The unit should take a sip of the substantion and analyze it]
Nana took the bottle and took a small sip, then she give the bottle back to the drunk albino.
[Warning: In the bottle there is probably large amount of ethanol]
Of course, the alcohol won't teach her how to party.
Because, she didn't want to damage her very weak organic brain, she decided to not drink any alcohol anymore.

Ryu chuckled at the comment about her partners costume. she then gently takes the sandwich that was offered to her. "Why thank you dear knight.she said in an almost seductive tone. ryu gave a small flick of her tail but made sure that nobody around saw.

"That's not a costume? SO COOOL! HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Crusher lifted the hockey mask covering his face and removed the hood to show his red and black hair and blue eyes. "Nice to meet ya yitian! You know you remind me of someone i met along time ago. But i can't remember who. OH WELL! HA HA HA HA HA! hope you enjoy the rest of the party." With that crusher picks the plate Up and goes back to putting food on the plate.

Yitian couldn't help but smile, nobody really said much about the way he dressed before, then he noticed the amount of color Crusher had, a very interesting person indeed, for that Yitian made a mental note. "Thank you, oh and your costume looks great, I hope you enjoy the rest of the party as well." Yitian said, putting a small amount of food on his plate before he looked around again, who would he meet next, perhaps the group of two standing further away, he looked over towards the giant standing near someone else. That is.. Interesting.. He thought, not sure if he would go over to talk, he shook his head, instead going over to the other two, the one with the skeleton hoody and the angel.

"Hey, sorry about ignoring you earlier.. I was hungry, but how are you enjoying the party?" He asked as he looked between the two, holding his food plate close to him so he could easily stuff a lot in his mouth.

Jeremy raised an eyebrow at the tone of the woman and noticed a hint of movement from behind her, but he couldn't pinpoint what it was. He took a bite of his apparently tuna sandwich and thought of what to say next. But he just... Couldn't. The weapon face palmed, wanting to punch his frontal lobe for being so screwed up. Decision making is one of its main factors. Just make small talk. Small talk. You can do that. Casually, Jeremy leaned on the buffet table at just the right angle so his severely burned chest was visible. Then he tilted his hat. "So, are you a weapon? Or a meister?"

Ivory was about to say "Oh come on, have a bit more than that", but the samurai kid approached them. Ivory freaked out and took the bottle back, shoving it into his pocket and hoping the other boy didn't see. "Well well well. Look who's back. Mr. Too Good For The Albino And Clone." He spat, a substantial amount if venom in his voice. The boy had always been a good actor. Then Ivory broke out into laughter. "Nah, man, I'm pulling your leg. You're my bro." The albino wrapped his arm around the other boy's shoulders. "I'm Elliot! But everyone calls me Ivory. That's... That's Mrs. Robot McCloneson. What's your name?!" If you hadn't guessed, the meister was still quite drunk.

Well, Nana didn't react when he called her..Mrs. Robot McCloneson. Ugh, those drunk people and their great ideas.
The girl created a special folder on her memory disk and put there everything she knew about the drunk albino.
"I am Nana" She said simply.
Her computer generated another message.
[Recommendation: Explain to the new person what the unit is.]
"I am a clone with a computer located in my skull. Which means that I cannot have feelings. Elliot was trying to teach me how to party. Also he let me take a sip of his drink that he hid in his pocket. The drink had probably much ethanol in it. That's why I'm not going to drink it again." She explained.

Yitian, while slightly annoyed with the joke, still managed to force a smile on his face, at least untill an arm got wrapped around his shoulder, returning to a neutral expression as the both introduced themselves, an annoying drunk angel and someone with no emotions, yep, this place was filled with very unique people.

"My name is Yitian, nice to meet you both.. wait you got something to drink?" He said, looking over at Elliot.. Or Ivory, whatever he is called, he would just say angel, seemed easier. Yitian did start to wonder about them, the one without feelings, because of interest, the angel because if his drink.

Ivory put a finger over Yitian's mouth. "Shhh sh shh. Can't let people know, can we?" The angel slowly pulled a small bottle from his pocket and swirled it in front of Yitian's face. "I wasn't aware you had a taste for ethanol, kind sir. Have some if you want." He placed the bottle in the boy's hand and noticed more people arriving. A cheap angel and a cheap devil. "Now that's just insulting. I spent a whole day making these wings, and they just waltz in here with cheap knock offs? Ruuuude. I'll be back in a second." Ivory patted the man on the back and staggered over to the new comer in the cheap angel costume. "YOU sir... Are a CHEAP KNOCKOFF. Hahaha!" Then quickly returned to the samurai and the skeleton.

Dressed in his usual attire, besides a fiery blazer, Rage strode into the ballroom, a tad late. He spotted his friend Jeremy, also known as Cogs, talking to a young lady over by the punch table. "Hmmmmm." He thought to himself, "Time to have some fun." He walked over to the table, facing the young boy. "Hey bud, I can tell you're getting cold feet. Let me warm you up." Rage quickly snapped his fingers, setting them a blaze, and then directed the flame towards Jeremy 's pants, burning them to a crisp, like he had done before
