The car ride was long, bit it seemed a lot longer to the girl covered in the black robe that was kindly gifted from the girl driving the car. The guy in the front next to her sitting with his arms crossed slumped back in the seat. Then there was the girl sitting in the back, looking down at the floor of the car, shifting her feet that were now huge and furry. The long trip gave her a lot of time to think, but the only thing she could think about was how she was going to go through life like this? As if things weren't hard enough for her already, now she had this to worry about. She started to contemplate whether she would have to live the rest of her life in this cloak. It was then that the car came to a sudden stop and the girl driving looked back at the cloaked girl. "We're here." She said before they all started to exit the car.

The cloaked girl looked up to see a huge building that was strangely decorated with a plethora of skulls and all matter of gothic-like architecture. It almost felt like it was Halloween and she had her own permanent costume just for the occasion. She followed the two up the steps that seemed to go on for as long as the car ride to get here. It felt like she was climbing a mountain only it was stairs. Soon they were at the top and were walking into the school, the DWMA. She had only heard about it from her sister a few times. A school for kids to fight monsters. Seemed a little over the top but what did she know? She lived in the same house for 19 years and hardly went outside at all.

Soon the two students led her to a room that was wide and open and had no sort of furniture what so ever. She was guessing this was what they called a gym. She never had been to one but she heard about them during homeschooling with her family. The two students led her into another room towards the back that read "lockers" on the sign. Soon she saw what looked like an adult who had been through an Apocalypse or two, eyepatch and all included.

The girl then introduced her to the man standing before her. "Sir, this is a rescue from our last Mission. Her ID says her name is 'Lulu Leveret.' Lord Death wanted us to have you try and look into her... condition..." She shuddered at being called Lulu, and reluctantly removed the hood covering her face to show her pure white fur, her long ears covered with her black hair. Her green eyes looking up at the man awaiting his response.

Earlier in the day, Dalibor Foster was informed of his task. He was to take a look at a victim of a witch and figure out a way to help her. It was quite unusual for him since witches weren't his specialty. However, he made a fine assumption that his experience with witches, the effects of witch curses, and his advanced Soul Perception could prove quite useful. However, just in case he asked his colleague, The Witch Catherine Coon to come in later and bring his daughter with her. If they couldn't figure out what to do with that poor soul, no-one could.

Dalibor waited in the lockers room, where they'd have at least some privacy. He had his arms crossed on his chest as he leaned against one of the lockers. Because he'd arrived too early, he was forced to wait - so he closed his eyes and relaxed. It proved to be a bad idea as he soon dozed off, while still standing. To random onlookers, it would look as if he just had his eyes closed though.

Finally, the weapon-meister pair came with their V.I.P. Dalibor was awoken by the voice of one of the students. He opened his eyes, feeling somewhat confused for a second or two, but quickly shook that away. He grinned widely and put both of his arms on his hips. "Alright! Let's take a loo..." Dalibor said with confidence, but his voice trailed off when he saw the girl. He frowned and approached her slowly while taking a look at her. "O sakra!" The teacher said in the Czech language, before clearing his throat. "I'll do what I can. Witch curse, hm..? Miss Leveret, I am going to take a look at your soul now. " Dalibor informed the girl going from relaxed and confident to serious and professional in a matter of seconds. Afterward, his eyes lost their shine for a moment as he activated his Advanced Soul Perception to scan her soul.

The process took no more than half a minute, during which he was basically staring at her soul and wavelength, reading as much as possible from them. Afterward, Dalibor crossed his arms on the chest again and smiled in a friendly way. "Alright, luckily your 'condition' has not affected your soul in any significant or noticeable way. Your soul still looks innocent, although it's stronger than most. By that I mean... Have you been aware that your soul and wavelength make you capable of wielding demon weapons, Miss Leveret?" The teacher said.

Codi was more than a little intimidated by this man. He almost looks like one of those super villians or an escaped convict. However he didn't seem like a bad person despite his rough exterior.  Regardless though she wasn't convinced that any of this was going to turn out good for her. Codi shivered a bit in fearful confusion as the knee eyed man said something... unfamiliar to her limited vocabulary. If bunnies could sweat she probably would be right now. When he said he was going to take a look at her soul she could feel her fur fizzel up like a chill going down her spine in reverse.

She had no idea what she was supposed to do. she looked left, she looked right, and by the time he had spoken again she looked back at him. Although what he said was at first comforting to hear, the last bit flustered her a bit. Able to wield a weapon? What does he mean? Like these two that brought her here? Codi looked up at the man and nervously shook her head no. She wasn't even sure she would be able to find a job out in the world let alone... weild a... weapon? She looked down at her feet again, the same feet she had been trying not to look at the entire ride here. She then looked up at the teacher again and motioned one of her sleeve covered hands towards her face.

As if to ask the question  'Can you help me with this?' or maybe 'Am I going to look like this forever?' the girl couldn't form the words. She didnt have the sstrength to right now. she didn't even know if she could trust these people completely. Sure they saved her from the witch but... what was going happen to her now.

Dalibor rubbed his chin, the girl's appearance made it a little hard to read her emotions from her face. However, even without using his Soul Perception, he was able to tell she was scared and confused. He really felt sorry for her - she was transformed against her will into something no longer quite human. In his mind, however, he connected one or two dots. If every witch had an animal form they could transform into at will - perhaps the witch that cursed Miss Leveret tried to achieve a similar thing on her? What if that was a failed attempt at an immoral experiment? So if she was in-between a human and animal form, then the process could be reversible.

Dalibor gave the girl a friendly grin as he put his hands on his hips. "Don't worry! The DWMA will do everything in our power to help you, Miss Leveret! We're the good guys after all!" The teacher said with unwavering confidence in his voice. "Besides, the sole fact that you have Meister capabilities, gives you an advantage." He said after a moment. "You could easily enroll this academy as a student of Meister arts and trust me, The DWMA takes good care of its students!"

Dalibor pulled a phone out of the pocket of his jacket and sent a quick text message to someone. Once again he gave the girl a serious and professional look. "Miss Leveret, I must ask you to trust me now. You might've not heard of it, but the DWMA has been running a special class for witches for a few years now. I know this will be difficult for you, but only another witch might be able to reverse your current condition. I'm going to have my colleague Professor Catherine Coon who's responsible for the witch class come down here to examine you. She'll bring her student who is our specialist in dispelling witch magic." Dalibor said with a soft and warm tone. Then, with one hand he grabbed a nearby bench and moved it closer to Lulu so she could sit down on it and rest.

Codi listened to the man as he talked, and while his words were comforting she couldn't help but be suspicious still. She really didnt understand what a meister really did either, what were these 'capabilities' she had? Was she supposed to do what the two who saved her were doing? She couldn't do something like that. Not to mention the fact that she was going to come face to face with a... another witch? How could this place both kill and hire witches? It didnt make any sense to her. Can she really trust a Witch to fix her? What if she she misses a word or something and turns her into a full bunny? What if she gives her a potion and she turns purple? Well, Codi loved the color purple but she doesn't think she could handle being a purple bunny!

As the man offered Codi a seat the girl behind her spoke to him. "Well it looks like you have this covered, see you later teach!" The pair started walking off, causing Vodi to turn and raise her hand as if to ask them not to leave. A single cartoon teardrop hanging from her green bunny eye. She then turned back to the man and reluctantly sat in the provided seating. She thought it best to remove the cloak revealing her normal attire of her purple sweater with sleeves that covered her hands, as well as her black medium length skirt she rested her hands on. She wanted to make sure that the man couldn't see anything indecent. That was the last thing she needed was to die of embarrassment. She started thinking about what he said about her being a meister, she wondered what that really entailed. She looked up at the man as if to speak, but upon looking at his face suddenly flinched and was unable to make any words. She then looked around the locker room and suddenly found what she needed.

She grabbed a clipboard that had a pen attached to in on the floor by her. She held them both in her long sleeves and used them as easily as she would if they were clutched in her fingers, if she even had fingers... She then started to write on the sheet of paper before showing it to the man. It read: "What is a Meister? And why do you kill witches AND work with witches??? :<" And yes, she actually drew the face with what she wrote.

Dalibor waved at the two students with a wide grin on his face. "Take care and stay safe you two!" He told the pair, giving them a thumb up. Once Codi was seated on the bench and took her cloak off, Dalibor was just giving her a kind and friendly look. He clearly wasn't judging her appearance or anything as he viewed her as just a regular teenager, who just happened to be suffering some sort of a condition.

The teacher stood still and casually resting a hand on his hip as Codi tried to speak to him. He didn't seem bothered by her reaction either - he knew well his eyepatch and sharp eyes could make people feel stressed around him. After all, he looked kind of like a pirate or something! The moment the girl picked the clipboard up, Dalibor nodded in understanding - if she couldn't find the courage to speak, then writing her thoughts down sounded like the best possible solution.

When she was done writing and showed him the message, Dalibor leaned in closer, while still standing, to read what she'd written. He rubbed his chin, getting more and more amused by what he'd read. Eventually, he chuckled a little, as he stood straight. "To put it simply - a Meister is a person with a soul wavelength stronger and more flexible than a regular human being. This gives us, Meisters, access to what can essentially be considered superpowers. One of them, that all Meisters have, is the ability to wield Demon Weapons. Just like those two who have brought you here - they are a weapon-meister pair." Dalibor explained the concept of a meister in the simplest way he felt was possible. "No worries, not all Meisters and Weapons go out to fight evil. We have special classes for those who just want to learn to live with their abilities." When it came to the topics of the witches he frowned a little and got more serious.

"The DWMA and the Witch council have signed a peace pact about... twenty years ago or so. The witches can peacefully coexist with humans. However, we still hold the right to hunt down the ones that wish to harm people. It's like in regular society - if you break the law, you will face the consequences. The same concept applies to witches now. There are plenty of magic users who want to do good too despite the... nature of magic." Dalibor explained, his grin disappeared from his face. "I'll tell ya something..." Dalibor sighed and sat down on a different bench, which was facing the one Codi was sitting on. "My wife is a witch. So are my daughters. My daughters are even meisters themselves - they would stop an evil witch without hesitation." He said, not hiding the pride in his voice when he mentioned his daughters. "I like to make a distinction between the good and the bad witches. The good ones often want to learn to control their magic and even help fight the bad ones. They are a huge help."

Codi sat and listened to the intimidating teacher about Meister's. Her ears slightly raised but still drooped down as he described them kinda like super heroes. Codi had read a lot of comics she borrowed from her sister so this kinda interested her. She wondered if there were even comic books based on popular Meister-Weapon pairs? She may have to look that up at some point, she wondered if there were whole chapters of them. Although even single short stories would be amazing. Codi had almost completely forgotten her stress from her situation and started thinking of comic panel ideas. She then shook her fuzzy head and looked back at the teacher. 'Focus' She thought to herself as she continued to listen about the witches.

She was a bit surprised to hear there were good witches with what she was told, but thinking about it, it really made sense. After all, there are all kinds of people in the world, and to think someone is evil because they are a witch or whatever, honestly seems unfair. Don't judge a book by it's cover they say. However when the teacher mentioned that he was not only married to a Witch, but had children as well her ears went straight up and her mouth opened in surprise. She blinked a couple times before she regained her composure. After all just because he looked scary doesn't mean he is a bad guy, especiallywoth the pride in his voice as he talked about his daughters. She couldn't help but look down and smile thinking about how happy their family must be. However once she saw her long bunny feet her face got a bit more serious again.

She grabbed the pen and clipboard from her lap and started writing again. After a moment of scribbles she showed the teacher the pad again. "That all makes sense, you must really love your family a lot." She then brought the board back to her and wrote another sentence. "But... about my... condition... do you think you can help me? =<" It read having a slightly different concerned smiley drawn next to it.

Dalibor seemed to be observing Codi's reactions to what he'd been telling her. All that was on his mind was making sure the girl was calm and relaxed. As a father himself, he had a pretty good idea of how bad making kids feel stressed out was. Though, he had to admit to himself that her reactions, despite the seriousness of her situation, were a little bit amusing. Especially how she'd lost focus when he was telling her about sisters.

When the girl started writing on her clipboard again, he waited patiently for what she was about to tell him through a message. Dalibor leaned in to read what was written on the board and let out a very happy chuckle. "I love my girls above life!" He said without any hesitation. The tone of his voice implied that he was being serious. When he read the second message, his rubbed his forehead. "Hm... We will try everything we can to get rid of your condition." Dalibor said, giving her a serious look. He wasn't going to say it yet, but if the witches couldn't do anything, he would personally make sure Codi could at least function normally.

As Dalibor was thinking, suddenly two women entered the locked room. One of them was Catherine Coon, one of the DWMA's two official magic teachers. She was dressed in her professional-looking suit and held her laptop under her arm. The other was Aurora Foster, Dalibor's oldest daughter. She was wearing jeans, a brown bomber jacket with a tank-top underneath. She held her hands in the pockets of her trousers. Both women approached Codi and Dalibor in silence.

The moment Dalibor recognized the two, he stood up with a very wide, happy grin on his face. "Aurora!" He said happily. "If not for the circumstances I would give you a tight fatherly hug! Hahah!"
In response to that Aurora sighed and smiled slightly at him. "Hi, dad. So why am I..." Aurora said, before she took a look at Codi. With a concerned look on her face, she slowly approached the girl "Oh lord..." She whispered as she took a look at Codi's face.

Meanwhile, Catherine kept looking at Codi with a sad look on her face. It seemed like she almost felt heartbroken to see someone in such a state. "Thank you for calling us here, Mr. Foster." The witch teacher said, then also approached Codi. "I am Catherine Coon, the DWMA's expert on magic. This is my pupil, Aurora Foster. We will do everything in our power to reverse the effects of this curse that has been thrown on you." Catherine's tone sounded professional, but it was clear she was as shook as Aurora at that moment.

PostSubject: Re: New Beginnings - A Bunny Girl at DWMA? (Rackie - Open)   New Beginnings - A Bunny Girl at DWMA? (Rackie - Open) I_icon_minitimeJuly 1st 2020, 2:50 pm

The teacher had been decent at calming Codi down for the most part. Being distracted from the matter at hand was a good anti-anxiety for her. His reaction to her first question made her smile a little. She appreciated how much this father seemed to love his family. He was more serious about her second question to which she nodded in response. If there was a way to reverse this, she was sure she was in good hands with the DWMA.

Codi's right ear suddenly rose a little as she heard steps coming towards her direction and a door opening abruptly. Her first reaction became to instantly freeze in place and wait as the two sers of footsteps came closer to them. It wasn't until the teacher welcomed the strangers that she was able to breathe again. She actually was tempted to smile a little at the family reunion before the daughter had looked directly at Codi's face. Her fur almost stood on end as she looked back at the girl nervously. Her reaction wasn't the most comforting to Codi.

Codi was so on edge that when the Lady talked to her Codi's ears stood straight up and her fur ruffled a bit. If bunnies could sweat she was sure her face was dripping it. Codi's right foot started tapping rapidly which caused a louder sound than it usually did when she usually did it. Of course it did, what did she expect? She was a bunny, a girl, a bunny girl. She was a freak, freak, freak, freak, freak, freak! Codi was breathing rapidly and her heart felt like it would burst out of her chest. No really, how fast do bunny hearts beat again? Was she going to explode? Codi didnt know what to think.

Dalibor watched the interaction between the witches and Codi and frowned. He'd been trying to calm her down so much, but they managed to get her to a panicked state again. Observing her soul he grew more and more worried. Eventually, her stood up approached his daughter and patted her on the shoulder while shaking his head. That seemed like a wake-up call for the young witch.

Aurora crouched in front of the poor bunny girl and gently placed a hand on Codi's paw-hand while trying to look her in the eyes. It was clear that she wasn't disgusted or terrified by the girl's appearance or anything. That was clear obvious judging by the look on her face. "Dad? How old is she?" Aurora asked, without getting her eyes off Codi.

"She's around your age." Dalibor said quickly, reading from both her soul and vaguely remembering the report he'd received. The teacher looked at the witch-teacher. It seemed like he'd got an idea, or at least managed to figure out why his daughter asked him that specific question. The teachers exchanged looks and took a few steps away from Aurora and Codi as if to give them some privacy.

"I'm really, really sorry for our reactions." Aurora said, still trying to look Codi in the eyes. Her tone was warm and friendly and she seemed more relaxed than before. "We're just sad that there are still witches who throw curses at innocent people. We hate that. They ruin the reputation we try so hard to work on." The witch explained. A gentle and friendly smile appeared on her face. "I think I know what you're thinking..." She said, "Don't worry about your appearance, alright? I actually think you look kinda cute... O-Of course I'm not saying you should stay like this! Lord no! Though, it would be a bit cool if you could transform between a human form and a bunny form, like us, witches, don't you think?" Aurora's words sounded very genuine. She really meant it all, especially the bit about Codi looking kinda cute.

Codi's eyes darted in every single direction they could, desperately looking for something to focus on. Anything that could distract her mind from the anxious state it was in. But sadly nothing seemed to work, nothing stood out enough to quell her panic. That was until the moment that she felt something through her sleeve on her right arm. She looked down at the hand that now caused her to feel something besides panic. Codi slowly raised her gaze to look at the face of the hand's owner. She could see that it belonged to Aurora, the girl she had only met a minute or two ago.

She looked at her eyes for a moment before turning away almost immediately. She wasn't only embarrassed, but she never was really good at looking people in the eye. Even as Aurora talked to her father she simply kept her head slightly turned to the side and her eyes either on this particular tile on the wall or down on the floor. Anything besides the sweet glowing eyes of the girl in front of her. As Codi listened to what Aurora said to her she would look at her eyes quickly every now and again before looking away again. She understood how Aurora must feel, after all even herself, someone who didn't know much about witches, had already judged them as a whole. If only for a moment. She could understand being judged by people as "bad" even if they don't know a thing about you.

It wasn't until Aurora called her cute that her ears stood up for a moment and her face could be seen having a pinkish glow even with all of her fur. Her ears slowly drooped back down to their floppy position after which she moved her eyes to look at Aurora and then turned her head to look at her properly. The bunny girl then gave a smile to the girl before nodding at her. She then looked around for the clipboard and pen she had earlier and moved her sleeve covered all-hands to grab it.

She started writing for a moment before showing Aurora the writing. "I'm a bunny, a Meister, and now a Witch? What's next? The Lockness Monster?" The bunny chuckled silently while covering her mouth with her sleeve covered paw-hand. Codi was thankful to Aurora for calming her down, she seemed like a good person too. Just like her slightly intimidating father.

Aurora calmly watched Codi's rollercoaster of emotions while still giving her the same warm and friendly look. Her attitude wouldn't change for even a second. Her eyes were the key to everything, really. There was just kindness mixed with some hints of worry and pain even. Despite never being in Codi's position, it seemed like Aurora somehow understood what she was going through quite well.

Aurora even understood Codi's desire not to look her in the eyes. The shyness and embarrassment were normal in her situation. She put aside her emotions regarding being judged for the crimes of others, focusing solely on Codi's wellbeing.
When it turned out that her attempts at making the unlucky bunny girl calm down and relax, she couldn't help but feel relieved. Her reactions only made Codi look cuter in Aurora's eyes.

The witch couldn't help but chuckle along with her when she read what was written on the clipboard. She patted her on the hand-paw gently and grinned with amusement. "Who knows? Maybe the easter bunny herself?" Aurora joked a little. Then she took a breath. "So, are you ready to try to remove this curse with my dispelling magic?" Aurora asked, making sure to pick words carefully enough not to get Codi's hopes too high. "I'll have to take my Soul Protection down. For some meisters, it may be a slightly unpleasant process, because I'm basically setting my soul wavelength free." Aurora briefly explained.

Codi was feeling a lot better now, or at least calm enough to feel a little bit of security. Aurora really was a nice person deep down, honestly if she didnt state it, Codi would have seen her as just a normal cute girl. So looked at Aurora as she asked her if she was ready to try the dispelling now. Codi had a lot of questions, but didn't have the paper or patience to write them all down one by one. So instead she swallowed her curiousity and nodded her head at Aurora.

As Aurora explained she needed to take down her "Soul Protect" Codi had question Mark's dancing in a cartton representation of her brain space. Codi had no idea what that meant, or what would happen when she took it down, but Codi had enough trust to hope it wasn't something dangerous. She sat in the chair, "attempting" to stand up straight and look calm. Placing her sleeve covered paw-hand on her knees to try to keep them from shaking as Aurora did... whatever she was going to do. If bunnies could sweat... well you know...

Aurora nodded with a slight smile on her face. She stood up and stretched her arms. Then she cleared her throat and took a deep breath. With her eyes closed, she focused on something as if she was mentally preparing herself to finally do her job.
Eventually, the soul protect spell was dispelled "Soul protect... cancel..." Aurora whispered the power's password, causing her soul wavelength to be free from its concealment. For meisters with soul perception, it was usually a strike on their senses, so Codi probably felt nothing but a slight movement in the air.

"My soul protection is down. This means I can now use magic." Aurora explained calmly as her warm and gentle smile returned onto her face. She reached out with both of her hands and rested them on Codi's shoulder. "Now I'm going to use my dispelling spell. If the curse is fueled by magic, it should get removed by it." The witch explained, although her worry started to show. What if it wasn't being fueled by magic? Then what? In that case, the nature of the curse was different. Aurora wasn't ready to suggest it yet. "Get ready... One... Two... Three..." The witch first counted to three to prepare Codi for what was about to happen.

"Fo, xo, liska fox!" Aurora chanted her mantra and her voice sounded with an echo through the room. "Spell erase!" The witch muttered channeling her gathered magical energy into magical power. Suddenly her right arm flashed with bright yellow light and a yellow wave of energy quickly went through Codi's entire body and hit Aurora's left arm...

The spell certainly worked... but probably not on Codi... However, the spell revealed something quite surprising about Aurora's left arm - it wasn't natural at all, it was a black metallic prosthetic arm which had been previously concealed with illusion magic.

Codi was nervous, but at the same time she was incredibly curious. She was certainly learning a lot of new things since leaving her home. Even if 75% of those things were... mentally life scarring. But the people she was with now definitely made her feel... at least slightly more secure than she usually was. Codi honestly didn't know who she could trust, if anyone at all anymore. But she had chosen to... reluctantly trust at least the scary eyepatch guy and his witch daughter... She really had to consider that thought later. At the moment she simply took a deep breathe and watched in anticipation as Aurora did... whatever she was doing.

Codi was able to pick up everything Aurora was saying and once she whispered her soul protect to cancel Codi felt a shivering rustle up her fur as if something in the air shifted suddenly. If she had to explain it, she would probably day it felt like "magic in the air." Although strange to her this feeling didn't cause her to panic, after all Aurora did a good job of making sure Codi was informed about her actions. That made her a bit more comfortable about the whole thing. Codi simply watched and waited as Aurora casted her spell and as she did Codi felt a slight tingling sensation for a few seconds as tiny sparks of residual magic flew off of Codi's body before suddenly disappearing into thin air.

Although what actually caught Codi's attention was the bright flash from Aurora's arm, causing her to close one eye before the flash was gone and Codi could clearly see the metallic arm of Aurora's. Her eyes widened and her mouth opened slightly, letting out a tiny gap of air before she suddenly whispered "Y-Your arm..." Codi went to touch the metallic limb with one of her sleeved hands and ran it over it curiously. Codi couldn't help but wonder if she had caused this, she had completely forgotten the fact of the spell being to turn her back. She could only look worried at the metal arm. "...did, I..." Codi said in her light slightly raspy voice as she looked at Aurora.

Seeing her spell fail at lifting the curse from Codi was absolutely heart shattering for Aurora. Seeing nothing change in her bunny friend after the spell was used made her deflate where she stood. The feeling of despair and defeat were written on her face. Apart from having her metal arm revealed one more thing started changing at Aurora stared at Codi - her hair started changing color on its own! From her color of dirty blonde, it slowly started taking shades of dark blue.

Hearing the girl speak, snapped Aurora back to reality, she looked at her left fake arm and then back at Codi. "Oh... this?" The witch mumbled and pulled her sleeve up revealing more of her prosthetic arm. Surprisingly she was able to move it naturally - as if she was controlling it somehow. As she stared at her arm her hair started also getting a shade of white - one would get a feeling that at one point her hair would turn into a full rainbow. "A few years ago I lost my arm fighting corrupted individuals... Ironic, considering my specialty is healing magic..." Aurora explained letting a grim tone pass through her friendliness. "My friend made this arm for me. It's a magic tool - enchanted with magic. I can function normally thanks to it." She added after a moment and finally smiled again, shades of white and blue disappearing from her hair as it returned to normal.

"I usually keep it concealed using my mom's illusion spell. So, when I used my dispelling magic it also hit the illusion..." Aurora finally explained what happened exactly, though she didn't want to straight out say that she failed at making Codi look normal again - it was obvious after all, so hammering it into the girl's head would only be cruel.

The bunny girl looked up at Aurora sadly, her nose twitching a little out of worry for the Witch girl. Codi may not have suffered the trauma, but her anxious imagination could at least imagine the struggle of it. But honestly, Codi also thought that the fact she had a magic robot arm was pretty cool! It was a complicated mix of emotions. The only way Codi vould think to express her feeling was through her trusty drawing skills. Codi picked up the pen and clipboard off the floor and started doodling on it. Once finished she flipped it over and showed Aurora. Holding the board in one hand and flexing with her other sleeves arm.

The picture was a tiny version of Aurora with a what could probably be described as a laser cannon arm firing at masked stick figures who could be assumed were bad guys. The bunny girl smiled at Aurora and gave her a little tap on her prosthetic arm. Her unusual attempt at trying g to make her feel better. Codi has honestly starting to feel a lot better, at least mich more than she was a few hours ago. It was then that Codi's ears suddenly rose in acknowledgment as she just remembered what the spell was all about. She gently placed the clipboard on her lap and used her sleeve covered hand-paws to feel the top of her head. She was able to feel her long fluffy rabbit ears sticking straight up and then lowered her hands. As her hands fell her ears drooped back to their original position.

Her face however wasn't that of sadness or anger or anything like that, but rather one of question. The spell didn't work... so that must mean that she was going to be this way forever? Codi didn't know how to process this... what was her life going to be like as a half human, half bunny? How would she be treated? How would she go outside again? All these thoughts caused some tears to form in her eyes. She placed her sleeves on her cheeks as a few tears fell onto the clipboard.

Aurora curiously tilted her head to the side seeing Codi suddenly start doodling on the clipboard. What was going on inside her head? A part of her started worrying that the girl was trying to somehow distract herself from the fact that the spell didn't work. The feelings of being confused, curious and worried made her hair get a slightly darker shade of blonde for a moment.

Everything was back to normal when the final drawing was presented. Aurora stared at it feeling a grin appear on her face. What was especially amusing about it was the laser cannon mini-Aurora had. The witch chuckled and closed her eyes, shaking her head in her amusement. "I can't shoot lasers out of my arm, you know~?" She said, before once again letting out a chuckle.

The warm and heartfelt moment between the two didn't last for too long though as Aurora noticed Codi finally realize that the spell had failed at its purpose. The face of the witch displayed the feeling of worry seeing the bunny girl deflate before her eyes. That was expected all things considered, but it was still a heartbreaking sight. Seeing the tears in the girl's eyes and on the clipboard triggered something in Aurora's heart. She suddenly sat on the bench right next to Codi and wrapped her arms around the bunny girl's body, trapping her in a warm and tight hug. The witch seemed fully aware that she was ignoring the concept of personal space with her embrace, but she just felt that it was exactly what Codi needed. Probably.

"Don't give up yet... I'm sure professor Coon will do everything in her power to help you..." Aurora whispered not letting Codi go. "Besides, no matter what will happen now, you can count on me to, you know, support you, alright?" The witch added with a warm tone as she finally looked at her new bunny friend.

That's when two teachers approached them again. Dalibor had the same calm yet confident look on his face while Catherine was frowning as if she was thinking about something. "Dispelling spell didn't work, meaning the curse is not powered by magical power. We can assume that the process of transformation is the only part where actual magic was used. With the one who threw the curse gone we're in a much tougher spot now..." The witch teacher said analyzing the situation out loud. "I'll need to do some research, but... I'm afraid it will take time since I need to gather all the necessary materials to even touch the subject." Catherine adjusted her glasses and sighed. The subject of curses was not her specialty, meaning she had to start basically from scratch if she wanted to understand how the original transformation magic used on Codi even worked.

"Hm, in the meantime you could consider enrolling the academy, miss Leveret! Don't worry, it's not a decision you have to make today." Dalibor said grinning a little.
"For now, I would recommend getting some rest and relaxation. You have been through a lot, so you surely must feel tired." Catherine suggested with a polite smile on her face.

"Whatever you decide, I can keep you company. I am free all day today." Aurora whispered giving Codi an assuring warm smile.

Codi was in a rough spot, she was a bunny person now, a freak, a monster... how could she face anyone in the outside world? She had no idea what to do, the spell didn't work but Codi didn't blame Aurora or anyone at the school that was helping her. But she felt so lost, so alone in the world. Or at least she did until she could feel her arms and torso being constricted by someone embracing her. She looked to see Aurora holding her and as she listened to what she said Codi continued to cry, but she held onto Aurora's arm and played her cheek on Aurora's shoulder. Codi then nodded and smiled in response to Aurora.

Codi listened to the teachers as they talked, and the female teacher was right, the witch that had done this to her was dead. Which meant she couldn't be made to fix her. But at least Codi realized something, she's not alone in this and with Aurora, she felt a little better about this whole situation. And maybe... if she joined the academy, she would at least have a safe place to figure out what to do next. For now all she wanted was to relax and take her mind off of her worries. She turned her head towards Aurora and smiled, nodding to let her know she would enjoy her keeping her company.

Codi then pointed to the clipboard as a sign she wanted to use it to communicate again. Once she was released by Aurora she grabbed the board and pen from her lap and wrote down a message. "Could you show me around the school?" It said as she showed it to Aurora and smiled with only residual tears on her face.

Seeing Codi trying to write something down on her clipboard, Aurora released the girl from the warm embrace and simply stared at her hand-paws as she wrote. After reading the final question, the witch allowed herself to grin excitedly and nod. "Yeah, sure thing, friend! Uh... Wait, I've never asked you for your name!" She finally realized. True, asking after such a long time was a little bit awkward and embarrassing, but better late than never, right?

Seeing her father open his mouth to tell her the bunny girl's name, Aurora raised her hand to stop him and shook her head. Her interruption was quite brief - "I want to hear it from her, dad." While it probably was a little rude on her part to do so, Dalibor didn't seem to mind. "While we're at it, I'll show my new friend here around our academy. We're not going to bother you any longer." The witch addressed both teachers, again seemingly going out of the line of a regular student. Well, at least a little bit.

Once again, however, both teachers didn't seem to mind, as if they were used to Aurora being that frank with them. "Very well, I'll be in the library then. I'm sure there are at least a few books about curses in it. The sooner I start researching this curse, the better" With that out of the way, Catherine bowed to everyone, a polite smile present on her face and then started walking off.

"Oh! I could help you show miss Leveret aro-" Dalibor tried to suggest, as an excuse to spend more time with his daughter, only to be shot down by Aurora's meaningful stare. Smiling awkwardly, he scratched the back of his head and chuckled somewhat. "Alright then! Uhm, I'll give ya girls some time for yourself! Heheh, I'll... I'll go to Nine-Tails and grab myself a cup of coffee I guess..." He said as he slowly backed away out of the locker room.

Smirking triumphantly, Aurora once again smiled at Codi and winked at the girl.

Codi was a bit jealous of how assertive Aurora was. Sometimes she wished she could just say what she wanted and not worry about every possible consequence. But that wasnt very likely for her. She had a little blush from Aurora's smile and wink towards her. Codi simply smiled back at her and nodded before turning the previous page out of the clipboard and using a new one. She first wrote something down on the paper and showed it to Aurora. "Call me Codi! <3" She then brought the board back to her and started to doodle a little scene for a moment before showing it to Aurora. It was a cartoonish doodle of her dad and Aurora standing over him being three times taller than him and having a shiney pair of pants. Basically a physical rendition of "guess you wear the pants in the family."

Codi chuckled and placed the board under her arm and the pen in her pocket of her skirt. She then lifted her big bunny feet up and kicked herself up off the bench. Her eyes opened wide and her ears sprung up as she landed on her feet. She was surprised at how high she had gotten with that hop. She blinked a couple times before her tension in her face calmed and her ears fell gently back down. She looked at Aurora confusedly before letting out some more silent giggles.

Once again Aurora found herself patiently waiting for her new bunny friend to stop writing on her clipboard and show her the message. Of course, talking would be much faster and more comfortable, but it seemed like there was no helping it - receiving written replies was the only way for the time being. "Okay, Codi! I like the name." Aurora commented, grinning. When Codi started doodling again, the witch raised her eyebrows curiously. Was she trying to tell her anything or what? She couldn't tell.

Once she saw the drawing though, she covered her mouth trying to keep herself from laughing, eventually failing at that. It was just so funny and amusing while being perhaps a little accurate. "Hah! You should meet my mother then. She's the one actually wearing pants in this family." She quickly said with an amused tone and winked at Codi. Besides, she was an adult, why would she even have to listen to her father?

Seeing the rather impressive hop, Aurora raised and eyebrow before standing up from the bench herself. "I guess you've gained some new abilities too." The witch simply assumed, then giggled joining Codi in the amusement. "Well then, let's go!" Aurora finally announced, grinning excitedly. Giving new people a tour was actually a new experience for her despite being a DWMA student for almost 6-7 years at that point?

With that out of the way, Aurora would later on start leading the way out of the locker room and into one of the countless corridors of the Academy. For some reason she would keep her metal hand hidden inside one of the pockets of her jacket

While she was still a little surprised about her rather exaggerated hop off the bench Codi followed closely to Aurora. She stood right behind her lowering her head, trying to make her as hidden as possible. She was more than a little nervous, after all she wasn't sure how other students might act if they see her. Once the two exited the locker room Codi quickly wrapped her sleeves around Aurora's belly and hid her face in her back for a second.

Feeling Aurora look she lifted her face enough for her eyes to look into hers for a moment. Once that moment passed Codi took a deep breathe and then let go of Aurora, giving her a nod to show she was ready to proceed as she held onto Aurora's shirt with one sleeve. Similar to when a child holds onto their parent so they don't get lost. She then continued to follow closely behind Aurora as they walked.

OOC Thanksies!

IC:

After receiving that hug from the bunny girl, Aurora looked at her and smiled warmly. Once she finally got released, she patted Codi's head as if that would make her more comfortable. Due to how close to her the bunny girl walked to her, Aurora proceeded in a slow walk as if to allow her companion to keep up with her pace.

As promised, the fox witch showed Codi around the school, walking through mazes of corridors, presenting where each of the more important rooms were. Luckily for them, they didn't run into many students on their way, and those that'd the opportunity to notice how Codi looked like only gave her a few curious looks. All in all, the DWMA students were used to seeing all kinds of unusual things - after all, some kishin eggs tended to stop looking human after some time. Also, the presence of the witches in the DWMA changed some things. Thus, mostly curious looks. Aurora ignored all of those, obviously, and just proudly walked Codi through the school.

At one point Aurora stopped near a staircase to think about where to proceed next, scratching the back of her head she started staring towards the stairs. Was there anything interesting to be seen up there? Being lost in her thoughts she completely didn't notice someone approaching them.

Felix Shneider finished all his classes for that day and was about to head home. Walking down the countless corridors of the academy he fought so hard not to yawn. He'd gotten so used to all the places around the school, thus seeing them over and over again was getting boring. Why couldn't anything interesting happen to him already? As he kept walking, his eyes suddenly caught something interesting, which made him stop to take a look. He saw one of the DWMA students being followed by another person, who was like a child holding onto their parents. What intrigued him further was the realization that the girl had a lot of fur on herself, like, actual fur. His fluffy-lover side immediately woke up and his face got decorated with a wide excited smile. It was a bunny girl! An actual bunny girl in the DWMA! He rushed over to the two. "Oh, mein Gott!" Felix said as he stood near Codi and leaned in to take a closer look at her. "You're so cute! You're the cutest bunny ever! Oh, Mein Gott!" He was acting like a fanboy who was finally able to meet his biggest idol. There was a spark of joy and excitement in his eyes as he stared at Codi.

Codi continued to cling to Aurora the whole time they were touring the school. She had a look of awe and excitement every time she saw the beautiful intricate rooms of the school. As well as taking defensive position behind Aurora every time she saw someone in the hall. She had gotten a few curious stares that honestly made her a little nervous every time, but as they passed and no confrontation happened at all her weight in her chest subsided more and more. Almost to the point where she was getting comfortable. And honestly, it was starting to be really fun, and she was excited about possibly taking classes here.

She had been thinking off and on about becoming a Meister... she honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but it sounded like it would be a good way to integrate into the city. As they stopped for a second Codi took the time to reflect on the idea and got lost in thought. Until suddenly her right ear raised as she heard someone rushing down the hall. She turned to look in the direction of the noise only to see a boy stopping really close to her. Her pupils widened and it felt like beads of sweat were running down her fur. The boy suddenly leaned in closer, raving madly about her but she couldn't catch what he was saying as her face flooded pink and she felt her body move on it's own. Her elbows bent and her paw-hand curled to her chest as her right leg raised up to her chest, her knee bending back before suddenly she let out a frightened cry and her foot sprung forward.

Colliding with the boy straight in his chest the impact sent him flying back into a locker, denting is slightly with a loud thud. Codi breathed heavily for a second before lowering her leg and shaking her head, coming to her senses. She then looked at the boy in horror before looking back at Aurora in worried confusion.
