Savannah Fukui's dorm (Private | Mature)

There was a knock at the door, followed by a male voice, "Savannah?"

She didn't even respond, could not hear him through the sound of her own sobbing. Her hands clung to her elbows, nails unintentionally digging into the tender skin there.

Akira opened the door, a brow raised as he looked around, "Savannah, what happened here?"

Though she knew that he was there, now, she didn't respond. The meister remained curled, tears running down and staining both her cheeks and her dress. Her eyes were red and puffy, her body trembling slightly and her mind elsewhere.

Akira knelt by her side, saying nothing, simply wrapping his strong arms around her shoulders and pulling her close into his chest.

Her legs uncurled slightly as she readjusted herself, allowing herself to be held as she buried her face against his chest. Savannah never cried, but then again, she never made friends, never had friends over to her house, never smiled or laughed genuinely, never sent emoticons, never let her lovers sleep beside her. This whole month had been full of firsts, and she wasn't sure what to do about any of it.

ooc: When do we want this all to come into play in relation to the abduction? I think it'd be interesting if the abduction took place the next day, when they were supposed to leave.

Akira said nothing, simply holding her and letting her cry as she wished. Something was strange about the embrace, though. His long hair, which had before acted as a sort of warm blanket, didn't even touch his shoulders. It was trimmed, and neat, in a sort of professional cut.

ooc: Alrighty, so let's work with Vanished and Taken accordingly, and then after that we can run them all to the Fukui house

ic: It took her another few minutes to calm down, though her throat was so dry that it hurt to breathe. She lifted her head slowly, wiping her reddened eyes as her head tilted up towards him. When she'd regained her sight, however, she blinked a few times, quickly, unsure. Savannah reached a hand out, touching the freshly cut ends of his hair. It felt like she was blushing, but her face was so red from the crying that she knew no one could tell. "D..." she shook her head, clearing her throat, though her hand didn't leave his hair --- an unspoken question. "Did... Beyril tell me where I was?"

He shook his head, "No, I could hear you from outside." he smirked teasingly, only giving a slight glance to her hand on his hair.

Savannah bit into her lower lip, looking down, not daring to risk a glance at the destruction she'd caused. "Who else heard...?"

He shrugged, "Bey says you didn't start crying till after everyone left. The cafeteria is closed now. Just the two of us."

Savannah nodded slowly, bracing one hand on his arm and one on the ground as she tried to pull herself up. Her legs still wobbled but she pushed past the pain and strain of it. She kept her eyes on the floor as she moved, though it was a struggle to not let them drift to him. "And... Beyril? Where'd Bey go?"

"She's watching the bike." he shrugged, lifting the fragile girl effortlessly onto his hip, "So..." he blushed, looking down shyly through the bangs of his hair, "What do you think of the new cut?"

Her face burned further, noticeably now. She looked away from him, refusing to answer, and instead reached for her purse amongst the glass shards.

He frowned, "Ah, no-go then... I wonder if I should go to someone else to fix it..."

She shook her head as she pulled her purse up to her shoulder before leaning against him. "N-no need." The pitiful sound, almost a squeak, made her wince and she said nothing further.

Akira looked at her with clear shock and surprise on his face, but shrugged, "If you say so. Does everyone's neck get this cold?" He asked, changing the topic a bit as he pushed the door open with her foot.

She nodded slowly, "So I'm told. My hair's never been short..." Her head laid against his shoulder lazily as she relaxed.

"It's not a good look on girls." he stated simply, taking her out to the bike, where Beyril sat holding both helmets.

She forced a life, though it lacked mirth, "I'm Japanese, a-" there was a sharp pause and she inhaled, cutting herself off, "petto." Her face had flushed again, and she covered it by wiping the tears and make-up from it. "It would be highly improper for me to cut it."

He shrugged, setting her on the bike. Beyril smiled and handed her a helmet, "C'mon, Akira says there's somewhere we have to be."

Savannah nodded and took Akira's normal helmet, leaving her usual one for Beyril. She buckled it under her chin. She didn't say a word as she sat down, letting Beyril remain in the middle.

Akira shook his head, "Savannah, you're driving. I'm going to lead the way on my spare."

Savannah froze where she sat, eyes wide. She looked over at him through the helmet's visor, shocked. "I'm doing what?!" Despite the surprise, there was still a wide smile on her face.

He nodded, "You're driving. I'm going to be ahead of you, so you know where to go, but the bike is going to be steered by you."
