Sylas pants, too worn out to speak, though he gestures to the nurse, as though to say she needs to not be here.

The nurse seemed confused, but left.
Asuka rested her hand gently on his shoulder, "Sylas, are you okay?"

Sylas shakes his head, still panting lightly. "W-We have...a very big problem...."

Sylas stumbles over to Asuka's bed, handing her the sketchbook. "T-The last few pages...Look at the last few pages..."

Asuka flipped through the pages, "This... this is me. Did you do these?"

Sylas shakes his head. "I-It was...one of my students....S-She has the eye....Lord Death....teleported her to my hotel room....S-She showed me these...I needed to show you..."

Sylas pales. "H-Her dreams...visions..." He sits on a nearby chair. "She sees you...fighting Saca...and dying."

Sylas sits back in the chair, and suddenly Mad Sylas is sitting beside him. He smiles at the room. "Well Well Well, love. Not getting much ground with the others, are you?" "SHUT UP! JUST STOP TALKING!"

Sylas looks around at the room, turning pale. "I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean you..." Mad Sylas cackles, his head tilting backwards. "That was Priceless!" Sylas rubs his temples, trying to ignore him.

Sylas shakes his head, his hands going to hold it as he stares at the ground. "I....I don't know how to explain it, but there's another me...And you can't see him, but Beyril and I can...and I'm slowly losing my sanity..."

Sylas nods. "And my student, and..." Mad Sylas wraps an arm around him. "And you're all interconnected!" Sylas grits his teeth, aiming a punch at Mad Sylas. It passes right through his face, and Sylas punches the wall. His eyes widen. "A-Asuka...Am I...Am I finally losing it?"

Sylas sighs, staying like that, his fist raced against the wall. "Last night, Beyril appeared on the balcony. She had Asura's eyes, and I blanked out for a moment. When I came back to my senses, she was cowering, and he was there. The other me. She told me about what was happening and I offered her our spare bedroom. I walked her in, and she dropped her sketchbook. I flipped through it, and I saw those. She said that she'd been dreaming about those...So I asked if I could take it and she said yes...I haven't slept, and when he hasn't been bugging me, he's been bugging her..."

Mad Sylas wraps an arm around Asuka's shoulder. "Poor dear doesn't understand, and I don't think you do, either." "He's trying to drive us, or at least me, fully into madness..."

Sylas shrugs. "Because it was a little girl who looked like you!" He stalks over to a bank of windows, leaning his head against the glass. "I'm frightened, Asuka. I leveled a forest the first time I lost control, and I wasn't even a Death Scythe back then..."
