The Beginning of A New Era. (Open)

Edward scowled and walked away from Callum, but he was totally following him. Even if he wasen't a kishen egg he was about to kill a bunch of them and once he did he would not have any use for the souls, so Edward could sweep in in owl form and nick them all.

He changed shape into his owl form, he grasped Trinity in his large talons and flew to one of death city's towers. One of the bright sides about being an owl was that his vision was much better then when he was a human and needed glasses, he followed Callum with ease.

Kidd smiled at Daisy. "Thanks for appreciating the autograph!" Kidd smiled at her, "That's why you're my favorite and most legendary fan!" Kidd grinned at her. Kidd turned back to Callum and Edward. Obviously they wouldn't become good friends and probably never would. Kidd looked up at Edward and saw him turn into an owl. This put his suspicions to rest, and he knew for a fact that he was a sorcerer. Although it looked as though Edward had flown away, Kidd knew otherwise. This guy wasn't leaving. Thanks to his Soul Perception, this guy wouldn't be getting any preemptive strikes on any of them there. Not that Kidd was worried, him and Daisy would've more than likely have been enough for Edward.

"Hey, Daisy, and you," Kidd said, looking at Callum, "Be careful, this guy hasn't left." Kidd warned them, looking in the direction of where Edward was. Even though he couldn't see him through the dark he could sense him and knew he was there.

Alexander pressed his back up against a lamp that casted a dim light over his entire body. He was wearing the same sweatpants he wore a few nights earlier and a plain white shirt that was covered with multiple paint stains. He wasn't getting a lot of sleep the past few nights and it was very obvious because of the large bags forming under his eyes. It wasn't that he insisted on not sleeping, it was because he couldn't sleep without dreaming about that man. 'No... Not a man. A monster.', Alex thought to himself as he recalled the tentacles that entangled Leo.

The thought caused him to shiver in fear as he attempted to forget the whole ordeal. "I'm not going to let that happen to anyone else. Not no way... Not no how. I just need... To be stronger. If only... I could've been stronger back then.", Alexander said to himself while clenching his fists. He soon relaxed himself and took a deep breath to recollect his thoughts. It was then that he noticed Kidd in the corner of his eye. He seen that boy before and hoped that he might be able to calm his own nerves by chatting with him.

He lazily waved over to Kidd and called out to him almost in a whisper, "....... Hey."

Kidd continued to walk backwards while looking in the direction of Edward. Just then, he felt the presence of another. Before he had time to turn around and see who it was, Kidd heard his name being called out. "Alex." Kidd said before he turned around completely. He locked eyes with the boy he'd met a few nights ago. He still recalled the moments of their battle with the tentacle rape monster. Kidd's mouth formed a frown, remembering that he had to take the defeat because of Ilu fleeing. Running a hand over his cheek, he also remembered something else. Something awful. The moment he'd temporarily succumbed to Madness. Kidd shuddered, hating the sensation that'd taken over his body.

Coming back to his senses, Kidd ran over to Alexander with a smile on his face. "Alex! What's up bruh?" Kidd said, locking eyes with his acquaintance. He noticed something strange about the boy. He seemed.... Exhausted. Like something has been keeping him from rest. "Whoa.... Are you ok?" Kidd asked, the concern evident in his eyes. "What's wrong with you?"

Callum walked over to where Kidd was standing. Callum lazily leaned against the wall next to Alex. "Who's this kid? A friend of yours, I suppose." Callum looked over to the boy, scanning his face. His baggy eyes reminded of him of someone, but he couldn't pin just who it was. Regardless, this guy had been through some traumatic experience.

Edward was able to hear what they were saying with relative clarity, he should spend more time as an owl, he figur- OHH HEY LOOK A MOUSE! His eyes snapped to a rodent nibbleing the side of a apple core a block and a half away.

Focus! He thought to himself, shaking off the instict and focusing back on his query. There may be time for mice when this is all over...

Alexander gave a long yawn and tried to rub away the sleep from his eyes, "The names... Alexander.", Alex said answer Callum's question first, "I'm not really doing... To good. It's been hard to... Sleep at night. Everytime a blink... I swear I can see Ilu's tentacles... Wrapping around my body." Alexander continued to shiver a bit and hugged himself with his own arms to keep himself still.

"I want to find that... Lady a few nights ago. She tried to... Offer slaves to that monster. She told us a bit... Of things. My memory just isn't at it's best. I'm to find those slaves... And free them. After that, I'm going to keep my eyes on the witch. You weren't there when... It happened. I think that... A part of that monster is inside. It's just a theory... But... I don't know.", Alexander said before looking around, he was starting to get the strange feeling that he was watched.

Kidd scratched the back of his head and frowned at Alexander. Alex was really taking a beating from not having been able to stop Ilu. Despite the combined efforts of Kidd, Daisy, and Alex, they weren't able to stop the monster. And apart from him causing havoc out there, he seemed to also be having detrimental effects on Alex's health as well. "Alex, wanna spend the night at mine and Daisy's place?" Kidd asked Alexander, putting a hand on his shoulder. He hoped that Alex would take him up on his offer, seeing as he really needed someone to be there for him.

Kidd listened to the rest of what he'd missed out on. He shuddered at the thought of the tentacle monster and Alex's fear. It sounded like something straight out of a hentai. But when Kidd heard about the Lioness Witch trying to partner up with Ilu, he became infuriated again.

"She what?" Kidd asked, gritting his teeth. Brushing his hand against his cheek again, he though about how he'd smacked the Lioness Witch. Was she really in possession of slaves? Why would anyone pledge any form of allegiance to that twisted and demented soul? "She tried to offer slaves to that tentacle rapist dude?" Kidd asked Alex, moving in closer. Whenever he saw that witch again, he'd be sure she would get more than a smack the next time. "Bruh, we need to find her. We need to free those slaves AND make sure she pays for her mistakes." Kidd said, eyes full of determination. "If she's out there running around offering slaves and shit to tentacle monsters, I'm not so sure we should've let her go." Kidd noticed Alex begin to look around. "Oh, and yeah. There's some Sorcerer asshole here. He tried to disrespect The Legend in his face. Can you believe that?" Kidd asked, giving Alex a surprised look.

Callum quickly snapped his attention back to Edward, who was still perched on a nearby tower. "Yep. He's still there." He decided it wasn't the time to bare his claws, and simply gave the sorcerer a glare before turning back to Kidd and Alex. A rugged smile grew across his face. "Nice to me you, Alex. I go by Callum." He reached up to scratch his jaw, feeling his massive five o'clock shadow. "Good Lord, I really need to take a razor to this."
