We're Falling Apart to Halftime (Request Only; E/T)

It was about half an hour before Aurora left her room, but she was completely ready by that point, hair and makeup completed in their entirety. The dress she'd chosen to adorn was a knee-length, cerulean and silver lace dress. This one year alone had begun to fill out her slim form, and her previously scrawny and lanky legs were now far more toned, holding the majority of her body weight from strength and figure both. Her waist seemed just as slim as ever, bust developing slower than the rest of her; all in all, she was growing up rather quickly during her time at the DWMA. She'd taken a leap in doing her eyeshadow, as she had never tried to do anything with the colors. However, it seemed to have worked out well enough. Smiling, combing through her hair as she walked, she made her way to lower deck. It took her longer than it typically would have, as she was more than a little unaccustomed to wearing heels. With Glyndwr being so much taller than her, however, she didn't very much mind it.

Glyndwr himself didn't take quite as long to get ready. The majority of his time getting dressed was spent getting his purple tie to be the right shape. This tie was neatly tucked into a white waistcoat, which he wore under a jacket of the same colour. The whole thing was white, basically. His pocket watch had been tucked into the right pocket of his waistcoat, so that the chain was also clearly visible past the open suit jacket. His shoes were black, contrasting, along with the tie, the white entirety of his attire. When he left his room, he decided to wait for Aurora where she would find him; just outside of the dance hall. The meeting location wasn't decided, so he thought that this was the best place to wait. Glyndwr really hoped that Aurora knew the way...

Well, she did, in fact, know the way to get there, but the problem was that she was also very easily sidetracked and not the most coordinated. Soon enough, however, she was making her way down the hall, face flushed, ankles slightly unsteady, but a wide, encouraged smile painted across her cheerful, lively face. "Don't you look handsome?" She remarked, smiling, eyes skimming over him.

Glyndwr smiled back, as he always did when Aurora smiled at him. He couldn't help it. "I try my best," He said, also looking up and down his partners person. "And you are looking gorgeous, yourself." He finally concluded, and outstretched his right hand towards her. "Take my hand, and lets go inside."

The smile widened, and she reached to take his hand, stepping closer. "I'm ready when you are, Glyn." There wasn't much else to say, nor was there anything much to do besides step towards the door with him. Her nerves seemed to be stilling slowly, her legs slowly adjusting to the shoes on her feet.

Glyndwr held Aurora's hand in his, holding it up slightly. His free hand went behind his back, and he walked forwards, into the hall. He made sure not to walk quickly, for the sake of Aurora, who was wearing heels; he noticed that she wasn't entirely sure in them. This would make sense. He didn't remember her wearing heels before, if she ever did so, with him in her company. Glyndwr also wondered whether the way he was carrying himself right now was too fancy.

The small girl felt like a princess in that moment, escorted by her charming and chivalrous prince to a grand ball. A giggle chased the thought, and she looked down a moment, blushing up to the tips of her ears. Soon enough, her held was high again, however, and she was looking out at the rest of the attendees, keeping time like a metronome in her head to prevent herself from misstepping. "This was a... fantastic idea."

"Yeah, I think it'll be a lot of fun." Glyndwr said, redirecting and leading Aurora to just to the side of the hall. "So, then, Aurora. Have a dance to the next song that plays?" He asked, moving so he was facing the girl.

The girl nodded, smiling, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as the intro started for the next song. "If you want to." Her hand slid into his as she stepped just the slightest bit closer.

Glyndwr smiled down at his princess, slowly leading her towards the middle of the floor, and beginning to lead into a slow dance.

Aurora's smile was alight and happy, eyes sparkling as the focused on him. She followed his lead carefully, not overly experienced and definitely unaccustomed to anything slow. Still, the girl had learned to take things slow and easy since dating him, and he brought her down to earth rather effectively and calmly.

Glyndwr continued to lead the dance, now dancing in tempo to the song. He had started out slow, for Aurora's benefit, as he didn't know whether she had danced before or not. Looking into Aurora's eyes, he couldn't help but have his unwavering smile widen.

His smile altered hers, an easy enough feat to accomplish, but the sheer amount of sudden bashfulness was new nonetheless. Keeping up rather well, though she did fall out of rhythm a time or two, she danced with him, seeming both more at ease and more nervous with each passing moment.

"Y'know, every time you smile, for whatever reason, I just sort of wanna hug you." Glyndwr said, expressing his partly random thought. That, and he thought that maybe an embarrassed Aurora would be an extra-cute one...

Her face instantly began going bright red, her eyes shifting downwards as she bit her lower lip tenderly, "I..."

He grinned down at Aurora, because his tease had worked out just as he had expected. He wondered if he could continue from here, but decided instead to say nothing, and avoid spoiling the dance.

Slowly, she moved her eyes back up to his, smiling nervously, blushing.

Glyndwr's grin persisted, as he brought Aurora closer to himself, trying to keep her from seeing the blush which had finally started to appear on his face. He was going to be a manly man right now, and manly men don't blush like that!

OOC: That last bit. I don't even know...

The blush increased, and she let out a nervous giggle as she laid her head against his chest, nuzzle against it while dancing, both hands now at his chest as well.

With Aurora having her head on his chest, Glyndwr hoped that she couldn't hear his his heart speed up somewhat, with her pressed up against him.

Of course, she did hear it, a clear, traitorous trait to his embarrassment. Slowly, she looked up at him, a questioning look in her eyes.

When Aurora shifted her head, Glyndwr looked down to see a questioning gaze being directed at him. Not knowing exactly why he was getting this look, he returned a look of his own, though the blush still firmly plastered over his cheeks was probably a good bit of evidence as to why his heart had sped up.

Slowly, her grin returned, adoration evident. Reaching up on the tips of her toes, she pressed a light peck to his lips, her own heart picking up pace in the process.

Needless to say, the redness of Glyndwr's cheeks increased. He wasn't used to not being the one initiating kisses, yet, and it caught him a bit off guard. Once the initial 'shock' wore out, he smiled down at Aurora.

She smiled up at him in kind, eyes sparkling, feet keeping in step as best she could. "You alright there, Glyn?"
