Witch's need a break too ya know

Lillian opened the door to the bar silently, shutting it behind her just as quietly. She walked gracefully to the counter and sat on the bar stool, crossing her long legs. She wore a black sleeveless top with dark-colored shorts that showed off quite a bit of her skin. She looked at the bartender with her pitch-black eyes and ordered a drink. He obliged quickly, sliding the alcohol in front of her. She took a sip, swished it around in her mouth, and then swallowed it.

She glanced around the tavern, taking note of all the people inside. There was a rather drunk man sitting in a corner booth, a young woman picking at a plate of food on the opposite end of the room, and a tall man sitting across from a woman in one of the other booths. Then there was the bartender, an old-ish man with a bald head, and a waitress wearing an apron and taking orders from the few customers. This place is dead. Lillian thought with a frown, taking another sip of her drink.

And here I thought it'd be a great place to find something fun to do.

Mu walked into the bar and sighed, it was a very rough day and he needed a place to relax have a few drinks and be drunk, he walked up to the bar and asked for a bottle of whiskey the bartender grabbed a bottle of whiskey and handed it to him Mu payed him and sat down at a far off table further away from the crowd.

Lillian barely looked up at the man's entrance, though she did note it. He didn't look very rich, not worth stealing from. He ordered a bottle of whiskey and paid for it before sitting away from everyone else. Lillian rose an eyebrow in question, it wasn't that busy to begin with. Lillian took a large gulp of her glass, finishing it off. She signaled for the bartender to pour her another one, and he did. Lillian slipped a $20 bill onto the counter so she wouldn't have to pay when she finished.

She quickly drank this one too, her vision still not blurry. She was tired though, after a day's worth of stealing and thievery, she was exhausted. The witch had stolen from over 40 people that day, and she wore most of her collection on her person. Like the diamond stud she wore in her nose piercing, it had a gold shaft. Or the ruby earrings, or the silver chain necklace, the emerald ring, the sapphire encrusted bracelet. The ornaments didn't look to fancy from afar, but she was proud of her day's find.

Mu stared at the bottle of whiskey for a while and sighed. He than picked the bottle up and started to chug it down. After a few chugs of the liquid he wiped his mouth and set the bottle down, he rested his head back against the seat of the booth and closed his eyes. At that moment rabbit poofed out of thin air and started hopping around on the table infront of him.

Lillian's eyes widened slightly as a newly-appeared-rabbit began hopping around on the table in front of Mu. The witch frowned, her eye brows furrowing in anger. He's using magic, in Death City, without even trying to hide it! she felt an angry growl rising in her throat, but held it down. If she approached him, it would only make her seem involved with him and his magic. The absolute last thing she wanted was to get caught.

Yet.

The man intrigued her.

He made no attempt to hide his lust for alcohol or his magic. Lillian observed him, waiting for him to turn and see her.

The rabbit on the table turned and faced Mu chittering and thumping it's foot on the table. Mu simply snapped and the rabbit turned into ashes, Mu snickered and than looked over to the girl at the counter only to quickly look away when he saw her gaze was on him "there everywhere...." four small humming birds poof into existance and started to fly around him they than flied around the bar wings buzzing quickly.

Lillian frowned again, the shape cutting into her features. She glanced at the bartender, who was pointedly ignoring the warlock. The other customers didn't seem to notice, except for the woman sitting alone.

Lillian stood quickly, storming over to the man. She held him by his collar, looking into his eyes angrily and speaking with a low urgency, so as not to be noticed,

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she growled

Mu just stayed silent holding the witches gaze wearing a poker face "Could ypu please let me go ma'am?" he said trying not to freak out. he than pulled the witches grip away from his collar and took another sip of his whiskey completely ignoring her.

Lillian held back a screech of frustration, merely stamping her foot on the ground instead. When she picked it up, there was a noticeable dent in the floor.

"How dare you," she whispered, "come in here, and use magic. This is Death City you know, home of the DWMA. The students of the academy are making Death Scythes, and to do that they need the soul of a witch! If they find out you're a witch, they'll come after you. And then they might come after me!"

Mu sighed and pretended to study his bottle of whiskey intently "well let em come i say the more the merrier" he said with a tone of i don't give a shit "it's always fun to have company including ones that want to kill you!" he said as a lizard poofed out of thin air and climbed ontop of Mu's head staring at Lillian intently.

This time Lillian did let out a screech of frustration, grinding her teeth angrily.

"What is wrong with you?" she hissed, "You're putting other's lives in danger too! Have you no humanity?" she snarled, giving him a look that could easily kill.

"Oh i have humanity i just left it in a jar at antartica" he than sat up and moved out from the booth "but if you really want me to stop using magic than fine just go away" he than moved to the very last booth farthest away from the crowd.

Lillian rolled her eyes angrily before returning to her stool at the bar. She signaled for the bartender to get her two more, she was in the mood to not remember anything.

Mu stood up from the table and walked toward the exit of the place but decides to finish his whiskey first so he sits down at the nearest table and chugged down the wine as his vision blurred.

Lillian felt her eyes drooping as the alcohol threaded its way into her system. She laid her head down on the counter, trying to regain control of her body. Her arms wouldn't listen to her brain, and neither would her legs. She couldn't move, except to signal the bartender for more drinks, which she downed instantly.

Mu finished off the last of his whiskey than throws it to the side he than stumbled over to the bar counter and tripped catching himself on Lillian and hauling himself up "Thank you *hic*" he than got up and stumbled to the bar counter to get more wine from the bartender.

Lillian was shocked when the man tripped and fell on her, and promptly pushed him off of her.

"Jeez, what's wrong with you." she muttered, giving the man a glare as he got more wine.

Mu snickered drunkly and wrapped his arm around Lillian "Come on *hic* don't be a angry!" he laughed and rested his hand on Lillian cleavage "whoops my bad..." he took his arm away and shook as much of the drunkness as he could away from him "I am so sorry i didn't know what i was doing." he said as he slowly backed away wine in both his hands.

Lillian slapped his hand away from her breast, frowning angrily, "How dare you!" she spoke carefully, speaking every word carefully "Talk about rude." she muttered, rolling her eyes. The man backed away suddenly, and sobered up somehow.

"I am so sorry i didn't know what i was doing." he said, backing away.

Lilian's eyebrows furrowed, and she suddenly broke into a bout of laughter.

"Wow you change when you're drunk."

Mu sighed "you have no idea...." he shook his head and put the bottles of wine to the side "i hate getting drunk but i love my drinking sorry about touching your....breasts" he said face red with embaressment "he offered her a bottle of wine "here you go...the names Mu by the way..." he than walked back over to his booth and sat there hitting his head against the table.

Lillian took the wine and poured it into her empty glass, swirling it around with the ice before tasting it. It wasn't the best wine, yet it wasn't the worst. Lillian smirked, holding the glass by the tips of her fingers. She glanced over at "Mu," debating whether or not she should go over to him.

She decided to at least tell him her name, so she walked swiftly to his booth. The customers and bartender pointedly ignored them, not wanting to get caught up in their sorcery.

"I'm Lillian." she said in a sweet voice, setting her drink down on the table. She rested her hands on it, standing still but pushing her breasts together with the length of her arms.

Mu stared at Lillians breasts for a while and than shook his head and looked her in the eyes "Well it's nice to meet you lillian" he offered her his hand "not that often do i see witches" he than looked back at her breast "....or there breasts.....*ahem*" he looked back up to Lillian "sorry about the little event involving me touching your breasts..."

Lillian laughed lightly at his comment. He was saying breasts far too much, and the witch could hardly help but laugh at it.

"You see witches more often than warlocks." she noted taking his hand and shaking it once before letting go, "And it's alright. Worse has happened" she said as she slid gracefully into the seat across from him, holding her drink with two hands.

"Tell me, Mu, why are you here in Death City anyways?" she asked, a smirk playing on her lips.

"eh i just go where i feel like going and i felt like coming here." he than picked up a bottle of wine and chugged a bit "don't wanna get drunk or even a little drunk. Don't want that event tio happen again.." he than took another chug that became another and another. "You *hic* know you are so far the sexiest *hic* witch ive seen...quite the large package too..."

"Don't wanna get drunk or even a little drunk huh?" Lillian scoffed, sitting back in the booth.

"Wow, you sure know how to romance a gal." the witch said sarcastically, "And I know for a fact that there are 'sexier' witches than me, I've seen one or two." she laughed, placing a hand on her heart as she did. She took another sip of her wine, and her vision blurred just the tiniest bit.
