Zanic arrives. Good luck everyone else.

Zanic had finally made her way to the bottom steps of the academy building and as she was looking up the long way up she yelled out to no one in particular "What the fuck is this! I come all the way out her in the middle of the fucking desert bored out of my skull the whole damn way and now this!" before looking around at the closest people near her and says "Hey one of you idiots do something to make this dumbass trek worth it! Like a race or a bet or something cause I swear I am not walking all the way up there without some kinda reward for it! Fuck that I swear I'm just gonna leave this idiotic hot as hell school!" Zanic's coat was fluttering the whole time she was yelling at nobody as she was stomping back and forth in her boots at the base of the stairs waving her now drawn sword around in her half-firm grip. "Come on anybody, I don't really care who it is damn don't be such wimps."

From the parking lot, where he had parked his bike, a quiet boy with shocking, unruly auburn hair made his way over, an eyebrow raised. With the blistering heat beaering down on him, it seemed unusual that he was in all black. However, his underarmor shirt was tossed over his shoulder, his black cargo pants unzipped at the knees to turn them into shorts. "Not too keen on the stairs?" He had to repeat himself to be heard through the mask on his neck and face, but his voice was clear despite this. "New, I assume?" As he spoke, he stuffed the rest of his clothes in his bag.

Zanic's head snaps quickly to the boy who had approached and cupped her right hand behind her ear "Huh, you say something shrimp? or do you wanna take me up on something entertaining like a wager or a race like I asked?" her left hand dropped a little and the sword was now pointed at the dirt. "Plus being ain't gotta shittin' thing to do with how fucking bored I am right now." as she readjusted her goggles to fit better on her head she grinned wide and menacing.

The teen's brows raised even further as he looked at her before he shook his head, "Just a race, huh?" His voice was louder, clearer, though the way he seemed to back away, the way he hunched over just slightly showed submission as well as how skittish he truly was. "Any true DWMA student could do that." He stretched his legs really quickly before pushing his hair back. Speed was something he could handle; it went along with all of his training, both assassin and DWMA.

"Great, yeah whatever we doin' this or what huh huh huh?" she says stomping closer with each 'huh' and getting in his face her maniacal grin plastered on her face and her piercing, gleaming blue eyes staring into his. "I don't care if your the fucking track star here I want some enter-fucking-tainment right now and your the best I got." her irritation getting the better of her and anger starting to rise she rapidly taped the flat of her sword on her boot.

His throat went dry and he tensed up, but a nod met her words as his hands checked his pockets to ensure that his usual gear was secured. "Wh- when.... ever yo- you're ready, ma-... ma'am." At his sides, his knuckles stiffened, flexing and showing the tension within him more clearly even than the stunned look in his swirling, multi-colored eyes.

"aw, fuck you aren't one of those kids with a stu-stu-stutter?" she says as her sword goes back into the clasp of her jacket. Stretching out her long legs and flat stomach before laughing like a crazy person "Oh, boy this outta help me up those stairs and I swear if you don't loosen the hell up your gonna die of a heart attack grow a freaking spine. What the hells the matter never talk to girl before?" before dashing quickly up the steps yelling back "3 2 1 go..."

He merely shook his head, but something in him steeled, his demeanor perfectly serious and dedicated. The colors in his eyes froze for a split moment before swirling even further, and he took off not even a moment after her. Her words flew passed his ears like the wind that gathered around him, and he surpassed her in mere seconds. It wasn't so much that he was the track star; he was a utility meister, much like Stein and Black*Star, in far better shape than even most of his fellow students, able to weild and resonate with multiple weapons, even at once.

As her legs pumped up the stairs a loud rushing sound of wind could be heard as she saw the idiot pass her but she just smirked and whipped her left hand back to click the sword fro its place and throwing it sideways the blade spinning rapidly along its path aimed just ahead of the kid. Her pace unchanged and still storming forth as she laughed from the sheer joy of finally being entertained.

He could hear the woosh of the sword, and instantly began zig-zagging his way up the stairs, dodging the blade when it initially passed him and moving away from it when it struck his path. Barely able to do so as he passed, he picked up the blade, holding it carefully so as to not damage it before he could bring it back to her. Still, he continued to run, and his eyes began to fade like smoke as his wavelength built on his hands, gray whisps surrounding them as he began muttering under his breath and channeling his internal energy,

"i'm gonna need that back ya bastard!" she yelled as she ran flat out up the stairs to catch up with the small break in pace she had made him make. Her blue eyes almost glowing like ice and her manic grin on her face "You know" she called out "if you weren't so skittish... you'd be alright."

He didn't say a word back to her, leaping up the last handful of steps and turning on the balls of his feet, holding the blade on his open palms as he waited for her. Speed was his game; he hadn't expected to do anything other than win, and win he had.

Zanic's booted feet landing heavily on the last step she spins on her heel and falls flat on her back laughing the whole while "Thanks shrimp that was fun..." before thrusting her arm into the air "now gimme back my blade or I'll deck you."

Lux was walking around the school, a little lost, when he came across a set of stairs. He was just about to go down them when he saw two other students racing, the y were already almost finished, so Lux decided to step back. Whenever the girl finished, Lux started to applause. He, usually, wasn't so excited for something as simple as racing, but for some reason he just knew that applauding would be the best thing to do here, instead of trying to find his way around the school.
He approaches the pair, and says, "Excuse me, but could you two hep me I'm a little lost and I'm new here so I don't know where I am suppose to go?"
He says, stopping, looking at the two, both dressed in black, not as heavy as he is though. In fact, Lux was feeling at little out of place with his cloak still on, and the fact he was wearing both a long sleeve, collared, button up shirt and black pants and they were wearing shorts and t-shirts. He shrugs it off though. "Have to dress heavy so that I'm not showing my past," he thinks. He wonders who these two are and if they will help.

Rouge held it out for her, turning to the newcomer as soon as she took it. "Rouge, DWMA Senior meister. I... could help," his confidence had obviously shifted from speaking to the strong-willed woman to a fellow guy, and he even straightened a bit. "Do you need your schedule, or what? It's mostly summer classes right now, though we tend to practice and live here year 'round." His multi-colored eyes shifted back to the girl, and the smoke on his hands finally faded away completely. "Do... you need t- to be shown around a-as well?"

After grabbing her sword and flipping up to her feet she says "Pft, I don't need help with something as dumb as that from a guy who can't even talk to a girl." her eyes boring into Rouge's her grin plastered on her face like a sneer. She then shifted her attention to the new boy "What about huh? You gotta spine in there?" the sound of the flat side of her blade tapping against her boot barely audible over her voice while her right hand trailed up her stomach and across a few of the still stitched scars.

Lux smirks at the guys obvious skittishness around thegirl. He nods his head to the guy in a sign of thankfulness. Then he hears the girl's words and snarls. He throws off his cloak and unbuttons his long shirt and also throws his shirt off to the side.
Do I have a spine?" says Lux, and he can feel his anger boil up. "Do I have a spine?"
He feels his right hand transform into part of the gauntlet that he does fully with a partner. He closes his fist and his gauntlet becomes like brass knuckles. "I'm not called King of Hearts for nothing," he shouts at this childish girl.
He then drives a punch right into the ground He releases his anger into the ground and feels his anger drain it away, but Lux knows that it will return as it always does. His fist drives into the ground making a small crater.
He stands up, feeling his arm turn back into normal, he looks towards Rogue, and says, "Does your offer still stand?"

Rogue backed up the second he started transforming, watching with his eyes wide, smoke beginning to form on his hands. "Yeah, dude... s... sure." He blinked, completely confused by the display.

Zanic let's another grin slip onto her face as she laughs "Down boy, just a question... and I guess you do." she says as she walks over to the boy tapping her blade on her boot the whole time "Also your strong... I like that. Come work for me will ya angry man I want that power of yours." she finishes as she starts to twirl her sword around. As she spoke she craned her neck to look at Rouge to say to him "You aren't goin' anywhere with this boy until I'm done with so stay right the fuck there and shut up."

Lux smiles at the girl's reaction to his outburst, and then frowns at himself as he realized that if they looked closely enough, they could see old scars and Lux did not to be asked those types of questions. He grabs his long-sleeve shirt and puts it on, but doesn't button it up and then grabs his cloak and swirls it around his body and puts it back on as well.
"Work for her? She, obviously, wasn't scared of that last outburst as the other guy was, but still. I guess, if she wants me, then I'll accept," Lux thinks to himself.
He looks at her, stares at her, looking into her eyes, and says, "Alright, I'm guessing your a meister, and you need a weapon; else, you wouldn't be talking that way. I'll work with you, but only if you actually introduce yourself to me," Lux says, and then extends his hand in a gesture of friendship, "Hi, I'm Lux Valdis and my nickname is King of Hearts."

Rogue flicked her off when her back was turned but said nothing, glaring from under his unruly hair, hand tapping against his leg.

Zoe approaches the three odd people hanging in front of the stairs, she stops, and looks at Rogue.
"So that is Rogue," She says and then brightens up, "Finally, I find him. I was wondering where this guy was hiding."
She approaches these guys, and her eyes flicker to a darker orange, and she determines that nobody has an hostile intent towards her target, and then she hears the chick's comment to Rogue, and Rogue's response to her, although she had turned her back to him.
"Hmm, his profile said he was scared of girls, but he seems to have some backbone in him," she thinks to herself.
As she gets within their hearing distance, she says, "Excuse me, but I'm lost. Can you guys help me out anything."
Then she smiles at them, trying to show that she was just a fluffy girl. She looks at them as she joins their odd little group.

"Call me Zanic." she says as she spins her blade faster with her fingers her bright blue eyes boring into Lux's completely ignoring the extended hand before saying "Why are you hiding those wicked scars? You ashamed of em' or something? I don't hide mine." as she gestures towards the visible scars on her exposed abdomen and hips.

Lux, noticing Zanic, completely, ignoring his extended hand, looks at Zanic and sees all of her scars she so proudly revealed. He sighs to himself and decides to button up his shirt.
"These scars aren't from acts of bravery; they came from the act of an coward," Lux says, and sneers to himself as old memories flood back in, "I don't display them because to be proud of them is to be proud of the past, and I rather forget that part of my history and forge a new life for myself here."
He, then, laughs to himself and says, "Well, I told more than what I was planning on. Guess the mystical term for King of Hearts is true for myself, more so than I thought. So tell me, then, where are we?"

"DWMA, front of the building." Rogue said, almost instinctively, though his eyes were on the newcomer, his demeanor shifted completely with the power and attitudes of the others present. He held up a hand, showing a single finger to tell Zoe that he would be a minute. Slowly, he closed his eyes, inhaling slowly and exhaling even slower. His hands folded in front of him, ring and pinky fingers folded down as he relaxed. It seemed, for a second, that his wavelength shifted through the spectrum of colors, but such was soon gone. When his eyes openned, it had only been a few moments, nothing longer than the single breath he drew and expelled, but he seemed far more calmer, more like himself. Readjusting his pack, he turned his body approximately 160 degrees, pointing towards the board. "The missions board is there. That is where the teachers, and sometimes the ocassional student, will post tasks for partnered pairs to perform." He shifted an additional forty degrees, pointing down a hallway, "Five doors down there on the left is the admissions and transfer office." He moved back the other way, approximately 110 degrees from his initial stance, "Down that way are the track and fields. There should be some partners training there right about now." Finally, his eyes rested fully on Zoe, and his well-placed mask began to crack as he fought to maintain eye contact with her. "Where are you needing to go?"
