Weapon Form: Dubstep Canon. More specifically, Her weapon form looks like a white rocket launcher with a circular speaker on the end instead of an opening. The left side consists of a soundboard, and the right a small keyboard. The front speakers inner-most circle is light blue, and the entire build has light blue accents spread throughout, such as on the soundboard scales, and between the keys of the keyboard. The soundboard works as it actually would, changing the sound, and even more, the attack itself. The cannon is fired by pressing keys on the keyboard, resulting in a sound unique to the key pressed. When with a partner with the equivalent wavelength, adjustment of the soundboard and firing does NOT require movement of the hands, but can be done through Soul Connection. When the cannon is fired, it results in a beam of sound that changes color and effect depending on the soundboard settings and key pressed. None of the combinations are none at the moment, so understanding what does what will require experimentation

Appearance: She is a smaller, petite girl. She is "5'2 and 95 pounds. She is always wearing a blue jeans and a white hoody that has blue strips on it, and a retro looking stereo on the back. She wears a white pair of converse, also with blue strips on them. She also has a matching pair of headphones, that she is always listening to. Most would see this as a problem; however, she overcomes this because she can read lips. She has grayish-blue eyes and short-ish brown hair. She has a slightly pointed face, a smaller nose, and just small facial features in general.

Personality: In an everyday situation, Melody is always smiling, she seems to be a very happy girl, and her happiness seems to be infective. She can usually make anybody happy by just talking to them. She's also very hyper, but kinda clumsy. She isn't the smartest, but she can be very bright when she wants to, but she also has "blonde" moments like everyone else. She also makes it a point to be very kind and tries to meet everyone. However, all this changes in a battle situation. When fighting, her smile dissapears, and she becomes very serious. She enters a type of "zone" where everything can wait until after the fight. She becomes alert, focused, and very precise. She becomes very closed off, except for to her partner. She's always listening to a pair of white and blue headphones that are turned just loud enough that people around her can tell she's listening, but not loud enough that they can tell what she's listening to. No one is really sure what she listens to, but it's theorized among certain groups of people that she listens to literally everything.

History: Melody grew up in New York with her dad in a small two room studio apartment. Music was a large part of her life, being that her dad was a musician, and that's how he made his living. Melody's mom died when she was younger, about a year old, in a fight against a kishin egg. Melody found out she was a weapon around twelve when her dad told her that her mom was also a weapon. Finding this out, Melody would go up to the roof of the building she lived in and experiment when changing into a weapon. She finally managed a full transformation when her dad frightened her by coming into her room during a practice session. After that, her dad made it a mission to find a place for his daughter to go and learn a bout her abilities. When he had finally found out about DWMA, he wrote it down on a piece of paper, stuck it in his pocket, and ran home to tell her. He was mugged, and injured terribly. One of the doctors, recognizing him as a preformer, got a hold of Melody and brought her to the hospital. She got there in time to hear him say goodbye for the last time. This was when she was 15. Later the day of her father's death, she was given the peice of paper, which is how she found out about the Academy. After arriving at DWMA, she learned the gang responsible for the death of her father was actually a close knit network of kishin eggs and witches, which is when she decided she wanted to become a Death Scythe, so she would be strong enough to take on anything evil in this world. Even after everything she's been through, she's always managed to keep a smile on her face, her father used to tell her it was a trait she shared with her mother.

Miscellaneous: She can randomly start playing music from her hand, as long as she's heard it before. So.. That's a cool party trick.
