A new town, a new girl, a new side, a new life. [Open]

Yanagi was never one for long distance travel, but the journey needed to be made in order to get to Death City. The last day had been spent relaxing in her apartment, recuperating from the strenuous trip. Today would be the day for her to explore the town, begin finding the interesting things that went on in the city, and maybe even meet some people, or make a friend. The biggest problem she had on her mind so far was finding a Meister. She didn't often find a person she clicked with, let alone someone who she would synchronize with so well that they could fight together. Hopefully the Academy would assist in the search somehow, since Yanagi hadn't the slightest idea as where to even begin looking for a suitable Meister. As the young black haired girl left her apartment, clad in her usual black shirt and pants, she pulled her scarf tighter around her neck flowing back over her shoulder, preparing herself for whatever was to wait for her out in this city.

Walking the streets, many people around seemed surprisingly normal, though the girl wasn't quite sure what exactly she had expected. Most of the shops were as well, seeing clothing shops, places selling coffee and tea, along with other trinket shops and such. Yanagi stopped in one of the shops for a moment, to purchase a small tea for only just a moment before continuing on her casual stroll down the streets of Death City. A slight breeze blew through the air, keeping her short hair brushing around her eyes, and her scarf flowing behind her. Simply walking for the sake of walking was something Yanagi hadn't been doing for quite some time, being so used to just going straight from school to home. Now that she lived on her own, it was something she figured she had best get used to.

Sora Nai had set up a stall just on the side of where Yanagi was walking. His maroon hair as un-brushable as ever and a dirty brown cloak slung over his form. As any good street vendor would do, he was promoting himself. "Come one, come all! Defeat the all-mighty Chess master in a game of Chess! Whoever wins is granted anything of their choosing!" He pretended to hear someone to his left. "Of course sir, anything! Money, fame, power, glory, or even a sweet Ferrari! Anything your heart desires at the measly cost of $15 and the victory of a chess game!" Of course, Sora wasn't lying. He has the ability to lock anyone into a universal contract, where any deal made can and will come true. As long as both parties agree, of course. Needless to say, he was getting quite hot in his cloak on a day like this, so he removed it from his shoulders and tied it to his chair. This revealed a baggy yellow t-shirt on top of a slightly slimmer blue long sleeve. And let's not forget about the unbelievably valuable crown attached to his upper arm. Sora spotted a young girl in black making her way down the street. Wearing a scarf. The sorcerer could easily tell the girl was new in Death City by her apparel, and so made her the new target. "You, beautiful, young lady! How would you like to have a special game of chess? If you win, I will give you anything you desire! Come on, don't be shy!"
