Arrival.(Open to all.)

Ryder couldn't believe that the voice that was being heard inside of his head, was now coming from the mouth of the boy sitting on the stair's step above them. "Turn... Around?", Ryder whispered to himself and, against his better judgment, turned around to see nothing but the steps they've already climbed.

'This asshat is just trying to fuck with my head.', he thought before he began to witness Sakura throw her temper tantrum. Although it did seem a bit annoying, she was right to say that they would be late to class if they didn't stop fooling around.

"Thanks Kinsei, we better hurry up though.", Ryder then turned his attention back to Belated. "The office sounds really good right now. We better hurry up right now if we want to make on time.", with that final statement, Ryder tightened the strap of his backpack around his body and made a mad dash past Simon.

"WAIT I WANT TO HELLLP YOOOOOU!!!" Said Simon who went right after him with a mad sprint up the stairs, he was more used to the stairs and kept up with him well.

I just wanted to show you around the school dude! He said in the same telapathic way.

Belated's eyes widened as she watched Ryder sprint up the stairs. "What the-" She ran up the stairs after him. What was this guy doing? It was a good thing she was an extremely athletic person. Anyone else would've passed out just attempting to run up the massive length of stairs. "Ryder, what are you doing?!" Belated yelled after him, slowed down because of her heavy backpack. Belated yelled after Kinsei and Sakura, not wanting to abandon her newfound friends. "Are you guys coming?" She shouted after them, watching their size discrease with each step she ran.

Kinsei was actually a bit surprised when Sakura started to throw another one of her tantrums, about being late this time. Though as he was about to try and see if he could calm her, Ryder seemed to take this as a hint and began running ahead. He blinked for a moment and watched as he ran past the other kid, and then Belated soon followed behind him. When she asked if they were coming, he smiled and looked to Sakura. "Instant results it seems. Let's go then, huh?" The young man let out a chuckle, and then started to jog up the steps. Though he was going a little bit slower than the other two were, trying to watch his step. Last thing he needed was to fall down this huge flight of stairs. That, and... It was still hot.

Sakura smiled when she saw everyone walking. "Yay!!" She darted up the stairs and stopped and turned around. She was way ahead of everyone else! She tapped her feet impatiently, her high heels making a loud clicking sound. She realized kinsei was going to slow her down. She sighed and folded up her umbrella. She did a cartwheel down the stairs to kinseis side. "Why don't you transform and I'll just carry you slowpoke!!!"

Ryder could hear Simon speak inside his head still and ran even faster. 'This guy going to fucking drive me insane!", he thought as his pace continued to quicken. After a while he made it all the way to top and was completely exhausted. He laid down on the concrete floor and panted heavily as he stared up at the burning hot sun that seemed to mock him with it's huge smile. He then almost dozed off as he waited for everyone else to arrive.

Belated picked up the pace, noticing that Ryder was going faster as well. After a few more minutes, she finally reached the top, just five seconds after Ryder. She saw him sitting down on the concrete and wondered how he could stand to sit on it. "Doesn't that burn?" Belated whispered to herself, wiping some sweat off her forehead. She took her backpack off and placed next to him, sitting on it as not to burn her bottom. She sat in silence for a moment, watching Kinsei make his way up the stairs much more slowly than they had. It was a bit entertaining to watch him take his time. It reminded her of a turtle, how they got to where they needed without a rush, almost as though they had all the time in the world. Belated looked over to Ryder and noticed he was about fall asleep. "Whoa, are you ok?" She asked, her eyes full of concern. "Here, take this." She said, handing him a water bottle. It was a good thing she always packed some, because he looked like he really needed one.

Kinsei's deliberate and steady pace continued until his partner decided to show off her acrobatics to come back and call him a slowpoke, and offer to carry him. He rolled his eyes at the "offer" and looked up to the top of the steps to see that the other girl was watching him as well. At least for a moment, before she showed concern towards Ryder. "Hey, not my fault I have the sense to not sprint up the stairs, I mean just look at the new guy." He chuckled a bit at that, though not really trying to make fun of Ryder. Regardless, he sped up considerably, and started to use his long legs to his advantage by going up the stairs two at a time. It was no time before he reached the top as well. "Need a hand?" He said, offering his right hand out for Ryder to grasp and help himself up.

Sakura slowed her pace to keep up with her weapon. "La de la de daaaa! Walking up the stairs! La de la de daaaa! Going to school! Lala lala!" Sakura sang merrily until they arrived at the top of the stairs. "Kinsei senpai!! Turn around! Look at the city!" For once, Sakura was at a loss for words. Death city in it's entirety stood below them. It was beautiful.

He opened his eyes and looked towards Bleated before take her bottle of water, "Thank you Bleated, and thank you Kinsei." Ryder then took Kinsei's hand to help himself up and stared over Death city with tremendous awe. "...Wow.", was all Ryder could mutter as he basked in the sweet embrace of the City's beauty. Ryder wasn't sure about enrolling at the DWMA and was a bit discouraged at first but after meeting these new friends and enjoying the view together, he was relieved. He knew that at this moment, many things were going to go up for him.

Belated smiled at Ryder. "Sure thing!" She said to him, happy that he appreciated the gift. She reached into her backpack and pulled out two more, offering them to Kinsei and Sakura. "Alright, I guess you're ready to go to the office then...." Belated said, slowly rising from where she had been sitting. When she didn't get a response from anyone, she turned around in confusion to see what was holding everyone up. "Huh?" She asked, turning around slowly to see what the disturbance was.

"Oh, wow...." Belated said quietly, seeing what everyone had been staring at. "That's.... So beautiful." She whispered. She'd never really noticed the city in all it's glory until this very moment. It seems the things that you notice less and less are always the things you take the most for granted. Belated hadn't seen the view on her first day, but was glad she could see it now. The sun made her eyes glow brighter, showing her hope. Hope that she could get over her insecurities.

The young man nodded in response to Ryder's thanks, and then took the water bottle offered to him. He smiled towards Belated, and then opened up the top to take a sip. After the cool liquid washed down his throat, Kinsei let out a sigh of relief. "Ah... Arigatou. Thank you." Though very quickly his attention was grasped as Sakura told him to turn around and look at the city. He tilted his head slightly, wondering why they were turning around (again), but did so anyways. The view was quite pretty, but more so than that what amazed Kinsei was the whole symbolism of it. Death City was an oasis in the desert. This city was a speck of civilization in the middle of nowhere, salvation in the wasteland.

It was breathtaking. It was his new home. This was where Weapons and Meisters trained and learned, all in order to protect innocents and to keep a balance in the world. He was glad that moving here was not as scary as he had feared. He had moved halfway across the world to learn how to control his own abilities, to no longer be an outcast among his own family. Here, it seemed he was fitting in without issue. He was glad, and happy. With a smile on his face, Kinsei looked at his partner, and then the two new friends he had just met before speaking. "Well, let's not be late now." He said, and started to walk towards the large entrance once again. He kept a slow pace at first, to make sure he didn't leave them behind.

"SENPAII!!!!! Don't go without me!!!" Sakura whined as she ran to his side and slid her arm around his. "Don't you know it's polite to escort a lady?" She added looking him in the eyes. "We are obviously a team now! Heehee everyone will know cause of our matching outfits!" She said as she went up on her tippy toes to touch his blue and white hair.
