Appearance: Josh puts a surprising amount of effort into looking like he gives no effort at all. He’s got longer than usual black hair, dark eyes, and usually wears whatever’s on the floor for him to grab in the morning. He’s fond of dark, baggy clothes and running shoes. He also puts on a bit of dark red make up on his face when he wants to be at his best, calling it his “war paint”

Personality: Josh usually likes to be in control of
himself. Not in the sense of holding himself back, but of not having to do what others tell him to do. He considers himself a tough guy by all of the normal means and is very confident in himself. Usually he’s easy to get angry and can come off as unpredictable to most people. Josh is actually plenty willing to listen when he feels whoever he’s talking to has something to say.

He’s confident in his sexuality and despite being intimidating at times he does know what’s important to him. He respects his friends and loved ones a lot more than he respects himself. Josh is also surprisingly self sacrificing when other people come under fire, he’s quick to call the shots and considers the safety of others way beyond his own. If there’s one thing he’s got it’s toughness and determination.


History: Josh was born in Alaska he had five brothers and three little sisters. They had to take care of themselves out there and stuck mostly to trapping in order to bring in what little money they had. He was just fine with this, but he always aspired to do more with his life.

One day, his family had the displeasure of having to tangle with a Kishin egg that was held up somewhere in the area around their house. He tried to take it on himself once he found out that his mother was scared about it and got his ass handed to him. His soul was saved just in time by a weapon meister pair who had flown all the way out to their great frozen state in order to deal with the monster.

He inquired about where they came from as soon as he could, still wrapped in bandages as they explained. He was interested in the get go, to be able to help people in the most bad to the bone way and travel around? He was sold at the prospect of ever seeing a place like florida in his entire life. He spun it to his mother that it was a boarding school and his dad was damn near ready to throw him out of the house for going against his word. So he applied for a scholarship and within the year got shipped off to death city with a small pension to get himself by.

His first year was spent playing catch up on all the schoolwork he had never actually learned. He got a reputation as a hood by a few nasty rumors that spread around about him when he first got to school and ironically beating the tar out of the guy who had started them only made his reputation get worst as everybody steered clear of him. After a while of not having a single weapon partner wanting to touch him for more than ten minutes of class and of having tables clear out whenever he sat down at them during lunch he stuck with the tough guy persona they were building him up to be.

Josh never bullied anybody, and he never hurt anyone who wasn't asking for it. But he snapped back all the time at people with the tiniest provocation. He pretty much lives by himself because the two other kids in his dorm room always sneak in late at night to sleep and slip out before he wakes up. Still, he had to do something besides laze around all day. So he took up seriously training himself for the days when he needed his body not to fail him and in what little time he had left he would go down to volunteer at the animal shelter. Using a different name to throw people off his scent if they ever came looking. He spends most of his time away from school, walking through town.


Miscellaneous: Fighting Style:
Josh uses a rugged form of dog style kung fu in combat. He always keeps himself mobile and evasive, poking and prodding for weakness before tearing into his opponents blind spots and wounding them. Coming back to finish the job slowly but surely. He can take a hell of a beating and still keep fighting.
