The fateful meeting of a new in-line skating meister and a small kid warhammer weapon? (T+Strong Language)

Aruna wandered out after a bit, her bag a bit bigger than before. In her hand she held a small wad of cash with a rubberband around it. She seemed to have all of her things gathered, including another bag of what seemed to be grapefruit. She walked over to her new meister... That felt weird... Calling somebody her meister... She had never expected to actually get one... Come to think of it, they didn't know much about eachother. Chauncey didn't even know about her... Abilities... She'd have to show him later, when she had time to teach him about them.

Aru stopped before the boy, looking up at him, then glancing back at her home. She sighed lightly and gave Chauncey an awkward smile. "O-Okay. Let's go." She confirmed, shaking the feeling that she was making a mistake. There was nothing wrong with what she was doing... Was there...? No. There couldn't be.

As the door opened, Chauncey looked over, to see Aruna. Before she got all the way to him, he pushed off the side of the building and stopped right in front of the girl. "Definitely rich kid. Parents give zero shits." Chauncey continued to figure, even in front of Aruna, out loud. He turned his back to her and crouched down, when she said to go. "Be somewhat less weird to see a young girl on a guy's back than a guy with a massive hammer. D'you know when and where from a bus to Death City may be leaving, by the way?"

Aruna climbed onto Chauncey's back, placing her hands on his shoulders. A bus, huh? She thought carefully about that. "I think if we go..." The child had to think for a moment. "To the bus station on the main road through town... It'll leave kinda soon, but I think we can get there..." She finished as Snickers crawled into the empty side pocket of her bag for a rest. It was still daytime after all. Aruna knew she'd have to be careful getting on the bus... Especially if the driver recognized her.

When Aruna was holding on, safely, to him, Chauncey stood to his full, tiny height. He began to slowly move forward as the girl spoke of where to find a bus, and sped up as he got an idea of where to go, turning into alleys he knew to be the fastest way of getting to his destination. Before long, Chauncey arrived at the aforementioned bus stop, and just in time; the bus had been pulling in as soon as the stop came into view. How very convenient.

Aruna dropped off of Chauncey's back hen they came to a stop, making a quick hop-like jog to the door of the bus. She peered inside to look at the driver. He didn't look familiar, so he probably wouldn't recognize her by face. If she used the bus pass her father had given her, she'd be found out. She was pretty sure they tracked that stuff. With this in mind, Aru elected to pay the fare in cash as she made her way onto the bus and into an open seat where there would be room for her new friend. As she did so, she couldn't help but wonder how long it would take them to actually notice she was gone. Two days? A week? Whatever. If they really cared, they'd find her. If they didn't then... Aruna gave light sigh out loud. If they didn't care then she didn't need them. She could take plenty care of herself. She'd become a Death Scythe and show them that she really was worth something!

Chauncey followed Aruna into the bus, and payed for his own fare, quickly. He mumbled something under his breath about not being able to use his skates; obviously he couldn't skate to Death City, but he complained, to nobody in particular, nonetheless. He slowly wheeled his way to where Aruna chose to sit, dropping into the seat next to her. "Off to the DWMA." He said, briefly, while unstrapping his skates; however much he hated to do it, he had to, since this would be a fairly long ride.
