She is a 5 foot long Bo-staff.  She is colored mainly a reddish brown like her eye color.  At the ends she has two white rings that are two inches apart and from the ends of the staff.

Appearance: Atlacia is a fairly average girl in size and build.  She's only about 5'5 and weighs no more than 120 pounds soaking wet.  She tends to wear what looks like a black sailor-school unifrom with a skirt that rests at her knees.  Her oddest addition is the long red scarf she wraps around her.  Her skin is pale and she has dark brown hair.  Her eyes are a reddish-brown in color and she honestly doesn't look like a very intimidating person. She's often smiling.  Her casual outfit is usually a t-shirt and blue-jeans. She likes tow ear flip-flops or tennis shoes.  She has a freckle below her right eye and no other really distinguishing marks.

Personality: Atlacia is a pretty chipper girl by nature.  She tends to seem happy and loving all the time, but not to the hyper-active extent.  She tends to remain tame and not too wild.  She's not the type to streak in public, but she will tell pretty lame jokes (just like her brother).  

She is flirtatious.  It's not really that she means anything when she flirts most of the time, but it covers her low self-esteem.  Deep inside Atlacia is kind of distant and paranoid that no one truly cares about her.  She seems close and warm, but there's always that barrier of pseudo happiness.  She's the kind that cries alone, when she's troubled.  When people DO see her cry she gets upset and frustrated, because she doesn't want to seem weak.  That's where her strength comes from.  All Atlacia ever really wants to do is help others, but she often takes too much on her shoulders and overworks herself.  

When she has problems, it's fairly easy to tell because she doesn't talk as much, but she always brushes it all off.  She'll make jokes, but it's obvious she's in a pain.  She honestly doesn't know when enough is enough and even when she's spent, she'll keep pushing through.

Her fatigue often shows with her forgetfulness and her absent-mindedness.  She's really a sharp girl, she's just a bit slow to catching up.  She's clumsy and a bit sloppy, but she does her best to care and help others.  This distracts her from her own problems, such as her anemia, which she often forgets to take care of.

History: Atlacia's story isn't as exciting a tale as other's.  She wasn't too neglected or hated, however, she did find at a young age all she ever really wanted to do was help.  She would follow her brother around all day and help him whenever she could.  In actuality, she was attached more to her brother than she was her own parents.  

As school started, though, something happened and Atlacia became distant.  Turns out that she was bullied at school often and though she was hurting, she never told a soul.  Her parents just assumed she was going through a phase and when the depression got worse, they took her to the doctor.  She was put on medication for focusing, but it made her feel miserable.  More withdrawn and more introspective, she fell into a sort of despair where she didn't look anyone in the eyes.  When the medication didn't help, she was taken to a psychiatrist.

This psychiatrist did a horrible job.  Every time Atlacia went to explain how she felt or what was happening, the woman interrupted and told her she was selfish and self-absorbed.  Atlacia shut up in her clam and for four years she didn't talk to anyone.  Things only got worse from there.

She was transferred to DMWA in hopes she'd do well, which test-wise she did, but Atlacia didn't like the partnering aspect.  She was afraid of rejection.  Having a loneliness was better than the feel of almost having someone.  The friends she DID make often ditched her or pretended to have plans.  Again she drifted away and even opted to sit by herself and draw.  She wasn't about to listen to others tell her she was useless when she knew that already.

One day she stood after class and she passed out.  No one really noticed, and the only reason she knew was because she looked up and there was no one looking at her.  No one cared the slightest- not even the teacher noticed.  She didn't talk about it, because she was embarrassed and again, she hid in her room when she got home.  She wondered desperately why she was so useless.  She wanted to know why she couldn't do anything right and why when she had finally made her one true friend, she had moved away.  Atlacia was heart-broken and in her heartache, she was driven to drastic and shameful methods.  She began harming herself just to feel like she was alive.  

Her brother walked in on it one day and abruptly stopped her, so she was taken back to a psychologist.  All the psychologist said was she was doing it for attention, but that wasn't what Atlacia felt was the reason.  All the dangerous items in the house were moved and her parents began to watch her more closely.  Her own mother yelled at her daily about how lazy she was; ignoring Atlacia's pleas thats he didn't feel right.  When her father finally took her to the doctor, well they found out the truth.

Atlacia had an iron deficiency; AKA anemia.  "I don't quite understand how you got out of bed."  The doctor laughed but in a serious look.  She was given medication which made her feel a bit sick, but it wasn't too bad.  

She felt a lot better after three months on her iron pills.  In fact she started smiling once more.  The problems and hurt never went away, but she was going to be happy if it killed her.  She didn't want to be back on anti-depressants and she knew the only way she'd ever felt happy was through helping others.  She cast away her old self and made the effort to change.  After a while, she met Zandra and became a partner as her weapon.
