Unquestioning, Candy followed Rogue. She was curious about what he might think up. She wasn't expecting anything but a silly challenge or something of the sort, but she knew it could be anything. Well, mostly anything, anyway.

His mind continued to rummage through itself for any sort of silly challenge that might befit the circumstances, but in truth, he wasn't used to social or silly. Things like pranks and friendly competitions that weren't combat oriented were foreign to him. He was an assassin, a loner by trade, and certainly not one accustomed to the company of a woman, especially one sharing a mutual interest where he did.

While getting her equipment off Candy decided that, if Rogue hadn't thought of anything for a while after they left, she was going to steal the choice from him. She'd do something he might like, but will definitely throw him for a loop.

Gear turned in and replaced with the belongings they'd come with, rogue continued to walk and ponder, though he kept a hand out almost instinctively, waiting in case she might grasp it.

At seeing his hand there, empty, Candy couldn't refuse. She wove her fingers through Rogue's, looking up at him with a smile.

His eyes drifted to his in nearly the same instant. Though the mask his the gesture, it met his eyes enough to be known, and he gave her hand a little squeeze. "I admit," he said as he turned his attention back to where he was walking, "I haven't a clue what yo have you do."

Candy tutted and quickly stepped in front of Rogue, rolling her eyes to boot. She reached up and lowered his mask, before hopping up and giving him a peck on the lips. Her grin didn't match the rather red hue of her face. "I chose for you. You like it?"

His face burned, the blue at his throat pulsing, the initial strobe enough to light up every vein in his body for the briefest of moments. Rogue found himself choking on his words, unable to form anything coherent in response.

Candy was clearly amused at the flashing display, giggling and grinning even wider than before. "You're going to have to get used to that, you know?" She said, turning herself around and pulling at his arm to go in the general direction of forward.

He stumbled as she pulled him, reflexively replacing his mask despite the flashing haze she'd flung him into. Shutting his mouth, he worked to calm the short circuiting in his chakram and brain.

"Where are we going now?" She asked, clearly unfazed by Rogue's rather... Fried, as it seemed, demeanour.

Words didn't develop, so instead he worked to resonate with her, attuning to her wavelength until the connection was achieved. Reaching it, he allowed her to tap into his mind, revealing What appeared to be old fairgrounds.

Candy looked back and blinked at him, before falling back to walk by his side. She, of course, had no idea how to get to the specified destination.

After a time, he gave up in the walking, the seconds becoming an enemy for him. Saying nothing, he scoops her up until he somehow managed to get her on his back. In silence, they blinked into a shadow, reappearing not a moment later several yards ahead. Hardly had they landed before the process began again.

Candy giggled happily when Rogue picked her up, and held on just as happily while Rogue did his ninja stuff by mechanisms unknown to her. She was just happy that she, basically, got to hug him close the whole way.

What would have taken them the better part of an hour dissolved into minutes, whisps of darkness following behind them wherever they went. Before the sun could set, however, they stood at the top of an abandoned roller coaster, standing on the maintanence track that ran its length. Reaching back, he boosted her so that she could see past his shoulders, gazing out at the open desert and the begin tinges of changing light as the sun began to fall over the horizon.

Candy looked at the sunset, happy as can be. First date and she got to view the setting sun on top of an abandoned roller coaster track with the guy who she fell for in very little time. She also occasionally glanced down at the ground below them, bathed in the relative darkness that would soon reach them, too.

As her eyes fell to the sunset, he began looking up, watching and marveling as the stars twinkled into life. The night was where he thrived most, chased only by the shadows he fell into. Sighing softly, he closed his eyes, relishing in the moonlight and the coolness that accompanied the night.

Candy rested her head on Rogue's shoulder, more interested in further studying the features visible at that moment than the sky above; she had seen the latter hundreds of times, while Rogue was still unique to her.

He stayed still a long while, knowing that moving his hands could make it difficult to stay in place. Instead, he left her as she was, enjoying the stillness of the world around them, consciously unaware of the closeness.

The calmness of everything around them, and the fact that she was comfortably resting her head, cause Candy to yawn. She broke the silence, though not intentionally.

His eyes eased open at the sound, glancing towards her as best he could. Smiling softly, he looked to the nearest building, and in a flury of something jot quite smoke, they were off again.

Candy held on tightly, waiting to see where they were going.

Soon enough, they were standing at the front of her dorms lobby, Rogue checking them both in before zipping back up to her room. Standing in front of it, he eased her off of his back, holding her steady as best he could.

The dorms. Well, it made sense, since it was late. Still, as she got off Rogue's back, she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. She waited for him to say something, looking into his eyes all the while.
