Hey kid want some ca- enchantments?! (Rackie/Lani)

Just because it was known that Aurora Boyd was known to be a witch didn't mean that everyone in the city was aware. As such, she continued to keep her soul protect high and mighty even while she wandered the city looking for anything even remotely magical. A spell tome or scroll of some kind would be ideal, but any old enchanted item, even if it was some short-range crystal ball would be just fine for her. She had her own small arsenal of spells, but she wanted to do her own, further magic studies. Afterall, math and air could only be fun for so long, and her Clairvoyance spell required her having some sort of destination she was aiming for. She was looking for a "something," not a "somewhere."

There was a certain witch in Death City who could help Aurora Boyd, not for free, of course. Her powerful magic became known in the underworld or in other shady groups and communities. The rumor was that there was a witch who was a master of necromancy and because it was considered to be just a rumor, not many people believed it. However, that rumor was the truth and if someone was actually looking for the mysterious necromancer they would find her sooner or later. Also, according to the same rumor she had an undead army under her command and she was offering more services than just resurrecting the dead... Perhaps she could help Aurora Boyd with her magic studies?

After dealing with the Wendigo, Aurora Boyd had certainly reached a point where she didn't much care to fight undead, in part simply because they freaked her out a bit. The reality of the world, however, dictated that the conflicting natures of her healing wavelength and pull of magic caused her to be unable to do harm to any living thing without it forcing a self-rejection on her. Because of this, she had been toying with the idea of finding ways to turn her enemies into friends, if only temporarily. She still had to fight, of course, but if she could limit her magic to non-destructive means then she would be much better off. Candy could handle the combat if Aurora could just handle everything else. Curious, she popped her Soul Protect down, knowing that nowadays, walking through Death City without it would do her little harm. Her pupils widened instantly, a side effect she'd yet to change, and she slid on a pair of sunglasses to help dull the rays that were suddenly so unbearable. Perhaps if someone noticed her soul they'd become interested in her. Who knows?

Well, someone did notice the moment she disabled her Soul Protect spell. Unluckily, or, perhaps, Luckily for her, there was someone in the area who felt that. To be precise it were two "someones". There was a group of 4 people standing near Aurora Skye. Three men and one woman. The men looked strangely dangerous, it was possible that they were working as bodyguards for a young woman who was standing among them. The woman and one of the men started looking at Skye. It was possible that they were using Soul Perception. It was possible, however not completely true. In reality, the man was a meister while the woman was a witch. It wasn't just some witch though, it was the (in)famous necromancer from the rumors.
Suddenly she waved her hand, giving a sign to her bodyguards to give her some privacy. All three disappeared in the crowd really quickly. When the mysterious necromanced made sure that she was alone, she approached Aurora Skye slowly. "Good morning, fellow witch." She greeted her politely. "Are you sure that canceling your Soul Protection in such place is safe?" The necromancer suddenly asked, with a barely visible, yet polite smile.

Aurora beamed up at her, a cute, if unsettling, expression when one factored in her too-large pupils. Without a word, it seemed, her Soul Protect snapped into place and she shrugged, holding out a hand to the woman before her. "It's a quicker solution than running around chasing rumors, and when you're known to be a DWMA student," the girl flashed the badge clipped to her purse, "You receive less trouble, at least here." By now, her pupils were back to normal sizes, her body and soul appearing all human. "Aurora Boyd, One Star Sugar Glider, Axe Witch Meister. Well," the witch interrupted herself, "The term 'axe' is... relative, I guess, in this case."

Chloe took a close look at the other witch. Her strange pupils took her attention. It seemed to be a rather funny looking side effect of using magic. She also listened to her carefully, trying to remember everything she said. Well, in business every small detail can be useful. It's not like Chloe was looking for someone to offer her services to that day. She'd approached Skye because she was a witch. Her eyebrow raised a bit on its own when Aurora mentioned stars axes and meisters. Was that some sort of a common thing for the DWMA students to put so many useless details into an introduction? Well, perhaps. The necromancer adjusted her glasses right before she spoke- "My name is Chloe Carmen. Zero star raven witch." The witch obviously tried to copy the way Aurora introduced herself, even though she found it funny. "May I know what you mean by "relative"?" Chloe asked. Her voice seemed quiet and she was speaking slowly and clearly.

Aurora gave her a bit of a smile at that, though the expression had something akin to, though not quite, embarrassment. It tended to be difficult to explain how unorthodox her weapon was, but she had a history of taking on unusual weapons. Her previous one was, after all, a fan. "She's a bouncy ball." The younger witch told her, shrugging a bit as if to fend off any potential ridicule that might come with the revelation of the information. Really, she liked the form and had already begun making Candy a deadly, formidable opponent. She didn't need judgment on that.

Chloe frowned upon hearing what was Aurora's partner's animal form. It was truly something she'd not expected which was apparent in the older witch's facial expression. She didn't find the information amusing nor disappointing and she simply accepted it as a fact. Anything could be used as a weapon apparently. "I see. That is an unusual weapon indeed..." Chloe commented adjusting her glasses. "It's nice to meet another witch in such big place... I think." The older witch said, changing the topic. She looked around

"I live here," Aurora said, matter-of-factly; it was an obvious fact, though. She'd already admitted to being a witch meister, and a witch meister casually strolling through Death City meant that she had to be from the area, especially if she was willing to just wander the streets without her Soul Protect active. There was a pause, followed by her tilting her head as she watched the elder witch. "Are you afraid of something?"

"I'm not... I'm just making sure my... friends are still around." Chloe replied immediately. Well, she was afraid of just one thing- being suddenly attacked by the DWMA, but the chances of that happening were rather low, luckily. "Feed my curiosity, what branch of magic is your specialty? You're a sugar glider... so, I assume you might be able to... hm... manipulate wind perhaps?" Chloe said, smiling slightly. She found the conversation to be surprisingly fun, despite how awkward it seemed.

"Wind and healing," Aurora specified; she had no way of showing the woman the color of her soul, which would explain that she not only held healing as a magical study but as her wavelength as well. This, of course, was a complication in and of itself because it meant that offensive magic caused an instant soul rejection of herself, leading to rather crippling results. It was for this reason that she was seeking out magical teachers to help her find ways around such disability. "And you own?" For all intents and purposes, she seemed oblivious to the fact that Chloe was more than just looking out for her friends.

Chloe folded her arms on her chest. Healing magic really sounded useful. It was truly one of the most beautiful arts of witchcraft. At least in Chloe's opinion. A witch who is a healing magic specialist is not too prone to fall into the claws of the curse known as pull of magic. Truly fascinating. "My magic... is rather complicated" Chloe said, as she looked Aurora in the eyes and adjusted her glasses. "In a way, my magic also heals... or should I say... cures... " There was a short pause in her words as if she wanted to think of a way to properly explain her magic. "My magic cures something no other magic can cure... my magic cures... death... You would probably call it necromancy, but that is not really it. I do not create zombies. No. I heal a body and bring a soul back into it. Perhaps... resurrection would be a more proper term?" She said and then looked away.

Aurora's pupils dilated, though not to such the extreme as they did when her Soul Protect was dropped. Instead, it was a rather normal transition, one that spoke of unbridled curiosity, interest, and fascination. There was wonder in her eyes, an unrestrained desire to inquire further, but with such a complex magic, should they be discussing this so publicly? "Is there anywhere else we could talk?" The young with asked, in lieu of directly continuing the conversation.

Chloe didn't expect Aurora to get so curious about her unusual magic. The woman frowned and looked at the younger witch, giving her a surprised look. She ended up staring at her for a few seconds before she was finally able to form an answer to her question. "Uhm, yes. Yes indeed. We could always continue this discussion in my office. Unless you have any better suggestions." Chloe informed her, nodding. For some reason, the thought of having a private conversation with another witch about magic seemed really exciting for her.

Due to rather loud personality and nature, Aurora was more than accustomed to simply being stared at after speaking. As such, she was rather unphased by the other witch's pause, instead merely waiting patiently until Chloe spoke again. At that point, she beamed and nodded, accepting this as an option without even considering the possibility that going off with a stranger would logically, typically, not be a good idea. Still, she didn't feel threatened, and thus willingly, happily agreed.

Chloe rubbed her chin, trying to figure out which way of getting to her office would be the best. Walking there would be tiring but at least it would show Aurora where were they going. On the other hand, getting there by car would be faster, less tiring but it could make Aurora needlessly worried... maybe. The witch came to a conclusion that perhaps letting the younger witch chose was a good idea. "Alrigt... we can take my car or simply walk there. Which option would you prefer?" Chloe asked calmly.

"It makes no difference," the young witch answered honestly. She'd spent enough time getting lost that she'd developed a pathfinding spell for herself, which turned out rather effective. Since it was most likely that she would simply head back to the dorm, or maybe her boyfriend's, after this endeavor, she could simply cast her Clairvoyance spell to make her way back. It would work. "Whatever you would prefer is fine, Ms. Chloe."

"Let's take the car then." Chloe said, nodding as she pulled a phone out of a pocket of her trousers and sent a text message to someone. "Follow me. My driver will be waiting for us near." The witch said, smiling politely at the younger witch. She then started leading the way towards the car. "Oh and by the way... You can just call me by my name... without any necessary titles."

Aurora nodded, happily following along behind her. Despite the overall seriousness of the other witch, this younger one had a way of walking that made it always seem like she could start bouncing at any minute. "Whatever you say, Chloe." She said in answer to her, looking around idly while they made their way to their destination, looking for the car perhaps or possibly just being her easily distracted self.

It didn't take long before a black, exclusive looking car stopped near them. A man dressed in a suit got out of the driver's seat and approached Chloe. "Your transport has arrived, ma'am!" He said, almost saluting and then proceeded to open the door in the back of the car for the two witches. "Heh, on time as always. Let's get into the car, shall we?" Chloe commented as she sat on one of the passenger seats in the back.

Again, not actually considering the poor choice of getting into a car with a stranger, Aurora happily complied, sliding inside and looking around at the interior. She was perfectly at ease, more concerned with her current goal than the potential dangers that most people would consider. Oh well, she was safe, right?

The driver closed the door behind them and then walked over to the front of the car and took his place behind the wheel. "Where to, ma'am?" The man asked.
"Take us home. I've invited my guest to my office." Chloe said, smiling slightly. The driver simply nodded and quickly started driving to their destination.
"By the way, I'm surprised. Don't you know it's not a wise thing to get into a car with a complete stranger?" The witch asked, smirking at her. "Of course, with me you're safe since I wouldn't hurt another witch without a reason... however... allow me to advise you to be careful next time."

Aurora simply shrugged, unphased; maybe she had realized that it was a bad idea and she was simply too confident or spacey to care. Either way, she didn't seem any more afraid now than she had earlier. "I trust that I'm safe."

Chloe almost sighed in disappointment when she noticed that Aurora didn's seem touched by her words. After a short moment of merely staring at the younger witch in silence, the necromancer finally spoke: "This time. Yes." The witch adjusted her glasses and closed her eyes. A few minutes later they arrived at their destination. It was a small mansion secured by a tall fence and a few security guards. The car stopped in front of a gate for a moment, waiting for it to open. Soon the car got behind the gate and stopped right next to the main entrance to the place. Two guards opened the doors for the witches. Chloe got out of the car and waited for the younger witch to do the same. "Welcome to my little... place." Chloe said looking at the building. The building had two floors and looked like a house belonging to a moderately prosperous businessman... or rather, in this case, to a businesswoman.

Aurora stared up at it in wonder, having not expected something so glamorous and elegant when they'd first met. Still, she didn't seem so surprised that she was gawking or in disbelief of the woman; it fit, in it's' own way, with what she'd seen of Chloe so far. "You must be very successful." She said earnestly, studying the exterior.
