Beyril's Bloody Battle?!

Sylas nods, returning his gaze to Rose. "I'm sure she's having fun dealing with the non-physical consequences....What exactly were you talking about?"

"I keep hearing Lexi's laughing. And her voice telling me to do things. Awful things. It wasn't me out there fighting that fight. Or at least it didn't feel like it. I'd have never said any of those things, honest." Beyril tilted her head down, "I saw this eye. Kinda turned on its side. And I keep seeing it. And it's terrifying."

Sylas pales lightly, gripping the side of his head as though hw was suffering from a migraine. He shakes somewhat. "A-Asura....."

Beyril inched back a bit, "Is everything okay? Was it something I said?"

Stein walks over, putting a hand on Sylas's shoulder. "He's gone Sylas. He's been gone a while..." He turns to address Beyril "Sylas was here in Death City when Asura reawoke. The kishin crashed near him during his first battle with Lord Death and Sylas's young mind couldn't handle it. He fractured in several places, mentally...I think mentioning the eye took him back to that day."

Beyril nodded, "I'm sorry, I won't bring it up again."

$tein sighs. "The worst part is that for the past couple months, nothings been setting him off...But I think since last night...."

"Could it have something to do with Lexi and I resonating?" She asked.

Stein shakes his head. "That may have been a factor in what happened, but Lexi went wild after the exercise...Sylas and I went to confront her. He got too close in his human form...."

Beyril's hands shook, and a look of terror flashed behind her eyes. She shook her a head a bit, "Is Lexi okay?" She asked, "Is there anything I can do to help?"

Stein steps back from Sylas, who has calmed considerably. "Lexi's fine...you just focus on resting..."

Beyril nodded, her face calm, but the slight tremor still existing in her hands.

Sylas takes a deep breath, leaning back slightly. "I-I'm fine...." Stein chuckles lightly. "We both know that isn't true...."

Beyril looks over next to her, and fishes her bag up onto her bed with her foot. She pulls a small engraved flask from her bag and smiles lightly, "Here. It might calm your nerves a bit."

Stein takes the flask and hands it to Sylas, who opens it up and takes a sniff. "What is it?"

Beyril blushed a tad, "Vodka. Tastes gross, but it calms the nerves. My dad used to drink a little to help him sleep at night. That flask was his. I keep it full in his memory."

Sylas nods, taking a sip from the flask. He shakes his head violently, coughing and handing the flask back to Stein, who in turn hands it to Beyril.

Beyril chuckled, "See? Tastes awful."

Asuka seemed to almost fade into the doorway, her long, black robes masking the movement of her feet. "Hello, Stein." She spoke without a hint of emotion, moving between he and Sylas, then resting her index fingers on each of their heads. "I missed you both." She smiled hauntingly, then giggled like a schoolgirl.

Sylas shivers lightly while Stein grins. "Hello, Asuka...." Sylas looks at her. "Have we met?"

Sylas nods. "Rrrriiiiigggghhhhtttt......."

Stein nods. "Some trouble at an exercise...."

Sylas groans lightly, facepalming. "I'm a new teacher and I'm not even a death scythe. Why do I have to be the involved in all of this...."
