Meister Abilities
Soul Perception:
This ability allows the user to sense the souls of those around them, being able to detect other meisters, weapons, kishins, clowns, humans, and witches not under Soul Protect. Following the series, Soul Perception can only be used by people that possess a very particular personality; these people usually have good concentration, are sensitive to the waves in the air, and are more serious in nature. This ability is not allows inherent and thus can be activated in people who did not previously appear to possess it, such as Maka who accidentally activated hers out of her fear of Stein. With training and concentration, this ability can be used to effectively read the wavelength of another person, judging it and even being able to detect the person's personality and, occasionally, hints of their past. This skill is invaluable to people that are able to shift their wavelength, slightly or otherwise, as knowing another's wavelength can allow a person to match or repel theirs. People using this ability detect souls using their most heightened of senses (Maka sees them, Soul hears them), and resonating pairs can share the ability. Those capable of using Soul Perception are more sensitive to madness and its wavelengths.
Super Soul Perception: (Rare)
A newer, and siginifcantly rarer, evolution of the previous ability, those that possesses this evolution are able to completely bypass the shield offered by Soul Protect. Witches find this ability to be extremely dangerous, and thus they, among others, relentlessly hunt down anyone with it. Users can also detect souls more accurately, over a greater distance, and even slight changes in the wavelengths; a notable capability of this is being able to detect lies. It is thought that Stein has this capability; Maka might as well.
Wavelength Communication:
The ability that allows meister and their weapon partners to communicate telepathically, as well as to be able to do the wavelength exchange that amplifies the meister's energy, all meisters possess this ability.
Wavelength Generation:
Part of what meisters unique is that they generate soul wavelength energy; it is this energy that is amplified during resonance, and that is shot through ranged weapons.
Wavelength Projection (known on the wikia as Injection): (Advanced, Learned)
The overall name for Soul Purge/Menace, this is a higher level ability only possessed by meisters with extremely powerful and well-controlled souls. In canon, only Stein and Black Star are shown to use this ability.
Utility/Multiple-Weapon Capability:
Utility meisters are capable of resonating with multiple partners, whether this be at once, such as Kirikou with Pot of Fire and Pot of Thunder and Death the Kid with Liz and Patty, or just with a wide array of different weapons, such as Stein, who can resonate with nearly anyone. Meisters with this ability are exceptionally fit, more so than any other meisters.

Shinigami Abilities
Stemming from a shinigami's Lines of Sanzu, Death Gods have powerful abilities unique to them. THIS IS LISTED ONLY FOR REFERENCE, AS THE ONLY CHARACTERS ON-SITE CAPABLE OF USING THESE ABILITIES ARE DEATH THE KID AND LORD DEATH HIMSELF, ROLEPLAYED EXCLUSIVELY BY ADMINS.

Weapon Abilities
Wavelength Communication:
The ability that allows meisters and their weapon partners to communicate telepathically, as well as to be able to do the wavelength exchange that amplifies the meister's energy, all weapons possess this ability.
Metamorphosis:
This ability is what allows humans to transform into weapons and vice versa. By default, all weapons have this ability.
Multiplier/Amplifier:
Weapons do not generate wavelength energy on their own, rendering them far weaker in combat and thus typically unable to fight alone. Instead, they are able to amplify their meister's energy, increasing the power of them both.
Elemental Capablities:
Some weapons are capable of using an element, both on their own and with a partner, though it is obviously far more powerful when paired.
Polymorphism: (EXTREMELY RARE)
Only available to higher-level weapons or through heredity (and thus requires full staff approval), some weapons are capable of transforming into multiple weapon forms.
Soul Consumption:
Part of being a weapon is consuming souls in order to be able to evolve and gain power. Death/Demon Weapons consume ninety-nine Kishin Egg souls, followed by a single witch/sorcerer soul. Messing up this order in any way resets the soul count.
Autonomy: (Very Rare)
Autonomous weapons are those that are able to operate and fight on their own, without hinderance, such as Justin Law. This is more than partial transformation; it is partial transformation without the normal hinderance that a non-autonomous weapons would have, like Soul. This ability is rare due to it's high level. Though little is known about what is necessary for a weapon to become autonomous, it is known that it does require a significant amount of training, as it is higher level; it is also more common for KE vs. innoccent types to have.
