Alone Time (continuation of the topic via old forum)

Dowan snorted, "What was that?"

Sylas blushes deeply. "Nothing, nothing at all. I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!"

Dowan laughs, walking up to the counter to get their gear. She then spends several minutes trying to get her gear on,

Sylas, already finished putting his ski boots on, walks over and kneels in front of her, strapping the boots somewhat tightly around her legs. He runs his hands halfway up her leg after he gets the second boot on, but stops, standing and blushing.

Dowan blushes furiously, a tingling sensation running up her leg at his touch. "You ready?" She squeaks.

Sylas nods, offering his hand. "Always."

She takes his hand, letting him lead them.

Sylas leads her outside the chalet to where their rental skis were stored. He lays both of their pairs down in the snow, demonstrating several times how to get in and out of them. "Just do what I do and you'll be fine..."

Dowan paid close attention, making sure she understood everything. She repeated what he did herself.

Sylas cheers lightly at her quick understanding. "Ok, we'll start out with a magic carpet, then transition to a rope tow."

"Okay." She said, understanding a little better now.

Sylas hands her a pair of poles, showing her how to move with them, leading her towards a conveyor moving up a small hill.

She follows him as best as she can, loving it.

Sylas shows her how to step onto the conveyor, riding up it and waiting for her, smiling.

She does the same, careful and hesitant. When she reaches him, she doesn't hesitate to kiss him lightly.

Sylas blushes before giving her the basics. "Since you're starting out here's what you need to know. To slow yourself down, angle the tips of your skis inward so it makes a wedge, sort of like a pizza." He demonstrates, given a quick warning to not let the heads of your skis overlaps. "To go fast, keep your feet straight, so the skis are paralel, like two french fries. Now, you head down the hill, I'll wait here in case you fall or need help."

Dowan takes a deep breath, and does what he tells her. She giggled as goes slow, and the decides to try fast. It succeeds for the most, and she gets pretty far.

But that tree came of nowhere.

Sylas skis down to her as fast as possible, clearly concerned. "Dowan! Are you ok?!"

Shaking her head from the jolt, she laughed soundly, "Wow even when I'm athletic I'm a clutz." She chortled, reaching her hand out for Sylas to help her up.

Sylas pulls her to her feet, laughing nervously, though he still appears a little tense. "You'll get the hang of it, you just need practice..."

Dowan sighed, "Would it be better to quit and wait to see if I'm okay?" she said, sensing his nervousness.

Sylas nods, clearly somewhat relieved. He positions himself behind her, wrapping his arms tight around her, his skis outside hers. "Just move like I do..." He gets them moving, heading them back to the chalet.

Dowan blushes furiously, mirroring him. Their closeness made her feel giddy. "So much for the next rigorious activity."

They quickly arrive at the chalet, and Sylas quickly moves away from her, blushing furiously. "I, uh, I think theres a ski patrol building this way. Let's, uh, put our, um, skis and stuff over here." He tripped over almost every word, silently cursing her for having this effect on him.

Dowan quirks an eyebrow, silently putting her gear away. She felt a little dizzy, and she quickly felt nauseous. "Um...Sylas..."
