Alone Time (continuation of the topic via old forum)

Sylas wraps his arms around her protectively. "I promise that I will never hurt you again..."

Wrapping her arms around him, she kisses him, wanting to connect with him. Her kisses were urgent, apologetic.

Sylas holds her tightly, returning her kisses similarly. "Dowan...I...I want to resonate with you...I want you to see the new me, fully and completely..."

"Do what you have to." She lets go, taking his hand and letting him transform. She waits.

Sylas nods, glowing briefly before resting in her hands. The only difference in his appearance is a small marker, an upper case I with a small line crossing through the middle on the upper weight. He focuses, his soul reaching out for hers.

Her soul complies gleefully, for it had missed his.

Sylas connects with her and steps into what would appear to be a clean room, illuminated by a singular crystal chandelier. He looks up and gasps. The entire roof is a glass dome, and outside the snow twists and turns, forming shapes and patterns and pictures.

Dowan just walks to him, a blazing look in her face. She traces his face, not saying a word. "Marry me." she says, linking her hands with his.

Sylas stares at her, mouth agape. "Wh-What?"

Dowan is silent, letting go and twirling around. "marry me." she whispers, a light shining around her.

Sylas looks up. "Dowan, you're 16, I'm 17. Do you really think we're both ready for something like marriage?"

"I think we can do anything." she says in a whisper. She smiles up at the sky.

Sylas kisses her. "A-Alright.....when?"

"Soon, maybe?" She shrugged, "I mean we sleep in the same bed, we live together. I think we can handle it."

Sylas kisses her. "You sure you want to be Mrs. Dowan Hammer?"

Dowan snorts, "How does it sound to you?"

Sylas kisses her. "Beautiful...."

Dowan smiles, bending down on a knee and propping her head up to face him, "Sylas Hammer, will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

Sylas pulls her to her feet before kneeling in front of her. He reaches inside his pocket and pulls out a small simple ring with a small diamond. "Forgive me for being a traditionalist, but this is more or less the Groom to bes job. Dowan Mcallister, will you marry me?"

Tears flew, and she tackled him, "Yes yes yes yes." She kisses him hard.

Sylas grins, kissing her. "I'm glad...I'll have to actually get a ring..."

"That's okay." She whispers, "I'll love you forever anyways."

Sylas suddenly laughs. "I can just imagine how my parents will react..."

Dowan laughs, "They should be glad, you marrying the girl you live with. I know my parents will be appeased."

Sylas pulls her into a deep and romantic kiss. "Maybe we should wake up, check out, and go home....get prepared....."
