PostSubject: The Meister Who Still Needs a Weapon Partner (Open)   August 17th 2014, 1:05 pm

Jago breathed a heavy sigh through his mouth while staring at the missions board, a look of longing plastered to his face. Normally in the DWMA, a meister finds his/her weapon partner very quickly, usually within a week of enrolling. However, it has nearly been three weeks since Jago has enrolled in the school. After thinking a lot about it, Jago decided that it was because he was a little on the plump side. On his first day of school, Jago found a boy who trained rigorously, which set a rather positive example for the dispirited boy. He has been training as much as possible over the past few weeks, since he engaged in such an impossible training regimen, Jago has already lost a lot of weight, more than 30 pounds to be more exact.

Jago grew deep in thought staring at the missions board. He placed his right hand under his chin and re-formed his face into one that looked the part, which deformed his over-sized eyebrows. Maybe it was because he felt so uncomfortable around all of these people who are all so strong, both physically and mentally. Because he was below average in both his looks and physique, people often avoided him in his school in Tokyo, such shallow people they were. "Oh well," Jago muttered, "I suppose I can go on a mission when I actually get a partner." After saying this, Jago's expression changed from one of deep thought to extreme lewdness. He blushed and whispered, "My partner may even be a pretty girl, then I will have to live with her too!"

Ooc: i may have a free weapon but idk if it's partner is still active so until I figure that out I shan't use him

dylan was walking through the halls with connor when he came across jago "hey jago" He said as he approached the boy. Dylan looked at him strangely as he was blushing and saying something about a girl. "You ok there?" Dylan said as he tapped jagos shoulder

Jago continued to fantasize about many sorts of things, especially about his partner being a cops lay babe. With Japan as his birthplace, which also happens to be the home of perverted anime, it only seemed natural for a boy of his age to think of such thing, right? When Jago's fantasy world began to shimmer and fade, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. Then there was a tap on the shoulder, which caused Jago to jump in surprise. A cold sweat surfaced and he could only stutter a lame response. "O-oh, n-nothing, Dyran-San. Sorry, I mean Dylan." Jargon had to force out the 'l' pronunciation, so that he could try and speak more fluent English.

OOC: This thread is still open to anyone, so no pressure if you aren't a weapon.

"ignoring what you were probably just thinking about... what are you doing here?" Dylan was interested in  getting to know the new student for some reason, he felt he didn't have many friends outside of kataro and a few others.

"Well, I was just looking at all of the missions on the board. I mean, they all look really fun, right?" His expression shifted again, but this time, he wore a lonely smile. "Well, I would love to go on one, if only there was a weapon out there for a guy like me..." It wasn't very uncommon for Jago to speak in such a way because of all the contempt he got from other students. He had a very low self-esteem indeed.

dylan put a friendly arm around jagos shoulder "you'll find the right person, it may take time, don't be so down on yourself, everything is gona be fine. Because we're going to help you look." Dylan said patting his back and smiling

Jago stood silent for a moment to process what his friend told him. When he finally realized the friendly gesture, his face contorted into a mixture of happiness and surprise. "Really? You would do something like that for me?!" Jago's joy was so unrestricted, his voice began to crackle before he began to bawl like a baby. "This.... this is..." He covered his eyes with his hands, but to no avail as waterfalls of tears began to shower the ground.

connor was a little surprised by this sudden out pour of emotion. He didn't realize this meant so much to him, it was kind of touching to see how happy it made him. He smiled and said "I'm glad we can help... what kind of person were you looking for?"

Jago sobbed for a few more second, then he rose to his feet and wiped his eyes. "U-um, preferably a pretty girl, but I suppose a guy who is popular with the ladies is cool too..." Jago stated the impossible here. Even though he has been training with his friend, Scott, often lately... he still knew there was little to no chance of something like that ever happening.

"shouldn't be too hard, no use looking here, come on!" Dylan said, grabbing jagos hand and pulling him through the halls looking to find a more populated area, it would be easy to find meisterless weapons there.

Perhaps it was because of earlier, but it almost seemed to Jago that Dylan wasn't surprised at his declaration. But, nonetheless, Jago went on for the ride and fell into pace behind the two, quietly being dragged along by his two friends, until they came to a certain part of the school which Jago was all too familiar with.

OOC: I leave the location to you. Afterall, you are dragging me there/

Ooc: I'm working on getting a character accepted that you could use as your weapon

he dragged jago into the cafeteria in which many students were sitting and socializing. "So many potential partners in the room. Let's sit for a minute and talk some more before we dive into this"

Dylan was being rather serious about this, as though he truly desired nothing more than to help Jago find a weapon partner. What a real friend. When Jago peered around the room, he found the familiar sigh of his favorite place in the whole school, the cafeteria. The place was humongous, in fact, it was so large, one could probably fit a mansion in here and there still be space, After all, this place had to be large enough to accommodate approximately 5,000 students. Unlike the typical stereotype cafeteria which had long tables at which benches were set at each side, there were circular tables, fitted with fancy-white tablecloths, and complete with six cushioned chairs, a vase of flowers, and assorted condiments spread out at every one of a few hundred tables. "Clean up here must really be a hassle..." Jago voiced his opinion to Dylan and Connor, who were only a half of a pace ahead of him.

OOC: Thanks, but you didn't have to do something so extreme for me.

"well jago, tell us about yourself. How has the dwma been treating you" Dylan said sitting at one of the few empty tables with connor and jago.

"Well, it has been going okay, I guess." Jago fiddled uncontrollably. He could see people looking in their direction, even if they were only casually looking in the direction of the newcomers to assess possible social contact, it was still awkward for the anti-social shut-in. " I have been enrolled in a temporary course until I find a weapon. I believe it is called, 'Finding the Perfect Weapon For You' and is a meister only class."

dylan noticed how nervous jago was getting." I know all the people is overwhelming, I can see why you're a bit scared. Probably because everyone in the room including connor are trained killers but don't worry about that. They're not bad people, you'll be fine." Dylan spoke reassuringly to the newbie. Flashing a smile

With his friend's smile, a wave of reassurance washed over the fearful boy. He realized that he could trust this guy with all of the troubles and burdens that he carries. A smile broke out on his face and he replied cheerfully, "Alright, Dylan! Let's go find me a weapon!"

"well, there's plenty of people here. Let's look around" they began walking up and down the rows of the cafeteria when they saw a cute blue haired girl who looked go be the same age as jago "what about her? She looks nice. And she's pretty cute."

"ahem!" Dylan said when he heard connor complimenting the girl.

Jago watched the display going on between the two lovers and made a wry smile, followed by a forced giggle. It wasn't rude or derogatory by and means, it was simply a gesture that said, What am I going to do with you two... After that little display, his eyes turned over to the person in question and he froze solid. She was beautiful. Her long blue hair made her the center of attention while her various rings and tattoos showed a flaring personality. The only thing he could not read about her was her expression. It seemed kind of dull to him. But then his libido took over his brain and he began to look at her as more of a 'Woman' than just a woman. "H-hello! My name is Jago! I-I'm very pleased to meet you!" Jago didn't even know if she had a partner, or even if she was a weapon, but he found her intriguing to the highest degree.

OOC: I am currently in another post too where I will be teaming up with someone else part-time in the near future. This OOC is merely informational and this other person will not become Jago's actual weapon, as the other party already has a weapon.

Dammit, Jago! Pull yourself together man! Jago gave himself a mind-slap and attempted to continue the conversation at hand as best as possible. "I'm sorry, miss. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful lady... I-I mean, would you happen to be a partnerless weapon?" Jago mind-slapped himself once more, now there is no way she will ever want to talk to me!

Jago couldn't have been more shocked, but her kindness allowed him to calm down a little bit. He glanced over at his two buddies and then spoke. "Actually, I am. So I have to ask, and I know we just met and all... but... would you mind giving me a chance as your partner?" That was rather straightforward and completely not his style, but he hoped it would work all the same.
