My Flight has Ended (finished/moved)

It was late in the afternoon, almost the evening, when the figure darted from the shadows of the streets toward the academy stairs. The shadow moved with a slight yet obvious limp as the figure started to climb. Finally out in the open view, the figure was visibly tall and wearing a tattered traveling cloak. The figure stumbled at the landing just before the main doors of the Academy, knocking off the hood that obscured her face. Scadia's hand instinctively went to her face, clawing at he bandages covering the right side. Breathing deeply to calm herself down, She picked herself off of the ground where she fell and looked behind her at the city. She saw no active pursuit, and Scadia was not risking soul protect. Not this near to the academy. Instead, she decided to take a brief moment to compose herself before heading into one of the last places she would ever want to willingly be.

The sparring session had lasted much longer than Nik had anticipated, but he was not where near feeling bad about it. His muscles were sore and he was probably going to have a bruise on his thigh for the vicious kick he received, but it was good. His deserved it, and he would learn from his mistake. He walked past the entrance to the Academy on his way to his apartment, but stopped when he saw a figure walking to the entrance. Nik would have normally just disregarded this as people came and went to and from the academy all the time. However, he saw the distinct sign of a limp, and his mind automatically shifted. "Hey! Are you alright?" Nik called out.

Scadia whipped around to face the newcomer and dropped into a crouch, an animalistic snarl escaping from her mouth. Upon seeing that it was a lone man who, if she read his soul correctly, was a weapon, she visibly relaxed. "I... I uh." realizing she was still crouched to attack, she stood and brushed the dust from her robes. "Yes, I am well. You are of the Academy yes?" She coninued without waiting for a response. "I have come to join as a weapon weilder, a meister I belive you call them." She did not intead to, but she started to get the small corner smile that many associated with smugness, at least in her experience.

Carol was out in the open today, contemplating her place in the world, and if she should find a way to charge on wind power today. It was the robot equivilent of eating well. Unexpectedly a woman in bandages and a cloak came in range of her sensors. She stood up, making her usual noisy creeking sound. And focused her vision on her as well. Was she in... bandages? That's strange, was she hurt? She walked forward to ask her a question.

"Excuse me, we can adress that in a few minutes. You have bandages on your face, are you in any danger?" She asked with concern.

OOC: Jac, Please read the initial posts. It is not sunlit. It is almost evening, 2. I understand that your character essentially has soul perception, but without supersoul perception, you will not notice anything odd about a witches soul, especially since she is older, not ancient, but older. Also, my character came into range of your characters sensors, that is fine. However, visual sensors are restrictive, you would have to be looking directly at my character for her to 'see' the bandages. Also, this character is accepted as a demon blade and is stated to hate humans in its personality. There is no way it would be allowed to be on the doorsteps of the academy without having a 3-star meister and one of the residing death scythes drive them out.

Danny stepped out of the academy, feeling tired. His studying hadn't helped him at all. He still couldn't tell the difference between Colorado and Wyoming. He groaned and scratched his head before noticing a rather tall girl and muscular boy.

''Hey there!'' he said and waved his hand to the two. Danny hadn't seen these two before. ''Are you students of the academy?'' he continued, not noticing the bandage on the girls face.

Ooc: weird. Ignore my last comment then. You need to work on your editing, as you have repeated phrases and choppy flow from where the old and new material is. I really want you work on that, as well as reading what others wrote. I prefer the threads to be more literate. Does not mean you need monster paragraphs, but put effort in. You can stay if you do that.

Nik, while sightly startled by amount of people in the Academy after it was closed, decided that it was more important to worry about the injured woman in front of him. The bandages on her face didn't look too old, but changing them probably wouldn't hurt. It was rare that he saw a woman who almost matched him in height, and, but, by the shape her body, and the white blonde hair, she greatly reminded him of a kinswoman. "Yes, I am a student here. Please, will you let me look at your wounds? I have medical training." He told her.

Scadia turned her head to look each of the newcomers in their 'eyes' with her good one. She was slightly shocked at the presence of what appeared to be a metal golem, and that it seemed capable of speech, but she merely turned back to the Nordsman standing in front of her. She gave him a curt nod as she spoke, her voice almost reluctant. "Yes.... I suppose you may." She reached with both hands and undid the wrappings, revealing the gash along her face. It was still fairly fresh, and the scab was very tentative.

OOC: Jack, should I address you as Carol or as Omega?

Danny only now noticed the bandages on the girl as she removed them, but his attention soon turned to Carol. His mouth dropped by the sight of the metal armor. ''Wha-what are you?'' he asked in surprised tone. Carol reminded him of the toys he had seen in stores.

Ooc: Carol is fine, she has two names really.

Carol briefly thought that she should really put up some posters in town telling peaple what she is, the she remembered that she was on the run and that would be a bad idea. "I am an A.I., designation: Carol." she was glad the woman would accept their help, but just where did she get that injury. She stepec in front of the door.

"While I do think that we should help this woman, logic says that before we accept a wounded stranger into our academy that she should tell us why specifically she is here and if she is running from someone. We do not want to harbor a fugitive unwittingly do we?"

Ooc: Jac, be wary of the metaknowledge. I understand that your character can make assumptions based off of the situation, but that's almost too far. And based off of your characters personality, Carol would not immediately be skeptical of a stranger. You specifically wrote that she is a nice women and values human life. she would not turn away a stranger in need right of the back.

Ooc: Well I mean, there's having value in human life. But then there's taking in injured strangers into a school that doesen't belong to you when it's closed. What I meant when I added that to her profile was that she has value in it now. Before she surrendered to the academy life was just natures way of keeping meat fresh to her.

Nik narrowed his gaze at the construct. He already had a severe distrust of technology because it truly terrified him how much people depended on it. Good people don't question when someone is injured. They simply act, and this....this thing would not understand that. "I don't care what's going on. She needs help, and I am going to help her." He said, not even trying to hide the venom. He turned back to the woman, his eyes and voice softening, and said, "That is if you want some help." He hadn't meant to sound like she didn't have a choice in this, but she clearly looked like she needed someone to check out that nasty cut.

Scadia moved her head to face the door, eyes glaring at the construct that was blocking it. It was quite humorous, as the double doors were so large that its body barely covered any section of them. Her humor did not enter her voice, instead it matched her piercing stare. "I don't need to say anything. Especially to a glorified GOLEM." She practically spat the last word, the disdain clear as day. She turned back to the blonde man that was joining the confrontation. "As for you Nordsman, I suppose you may." Her right hand moved close to the scar, though it did not touch. "It has almost healed though. There is not much left you could do."

Carol's answer didn't help Danny understand what she or it was, but he normally didn't understand complex things so he let it pass.

He was surprised by the hostility between the trio and he tried to calm them down. ''Carol, she seems to be hurt, we should help her...'' He then turned to the muscular boy with blond hair. ''Do you know where the infirmary is? We should take her there'' Danny said. ''Oh I'm Danny by the way. Nice to meet you'' he added awkwardly. He hoped this would lessen the tension the situation had.

OOC: Soo this is dead now? Or did it end already?

"Well fine if you all think that is best then I will allow it. Does anyone know how to get in? The doors are locked as far as I remember and I don't think I should be kicking them in unless someone's dieing." said Omega.

ooc: Panda, not really. but Wing and I both have deadweek/finals, which is a big strain on us.

Jac, I will consider this strike two. There is barely any punctuation in that last statement and is actually quite painful to read. if you have one more bad post, I will ask you to have your character leave the thread.

Nik barely contained himself when he heard the machine say that it would "allow" him to do what he knew he was already going to do. "If you think I am asking permission from you, machine, then you are gravely mistaken. I had no intention of breaking into the school." He spat out, this time more angrily than the first. It was definitely out of his normal character, but some technology, especially stuff like A.I. really freaked him out. He was increasingly getting more infuriated by how the robot seemed to think that its opinion and permission mattered to Nik. "Why do you even care about her? You aren't even human." Nik said
