A New Job! Let's Not Blow This One!

Giving one more smile, he looks at his phone and looks at the time. His eyes widening from the time. "S-sorry, I have to get back to work. I'll see you later tonight!" He waves before he starts back on his job, waiting on other tables, excited to help the sisters.

Crystal found herself covering her mouth with the sleeve of her sweater, chuckling a bit as she waved with her free arm. Well, he was a nice enough employee, and being able to get home at night would certainly be a welcome change from spending most of her time at either one job or the other.

Meran continued working throughout the rest of the day, he kept himself to the other customers and such, giving each one their own attention as he kept on pushing himself to be faster and better. He wanted to keep the job and whenever he had a conversation with a customer, the time felt like it was passing quickly whenever he spoke to them. But there were times when it was slow, and it was visible on his face that he seemed to enjoy this. He had memorized the prime parts of what he needed to and threw in his own spice to each different customer. He kept up this attitude until it would be closing time for the cafe where he would look for the sisters.

Crystal had already long ago retreated into her room, not part of the show that night and thus not wanting anything to do with it. Still, she was too anxious to drive for herself, so habit had her waiting for her twin. Rosaline, meanwhile, was behind the bar, for the moment, tidying things up for the next shift before heading to her room to change. The kitchen was already closed down by this point, so anyone left was either a dancer, the next bartender, or someone at the end of their own shift.

Wishing off the final customer with a farewell, he gave a sigh before giving a temporary sit onto one of the seats. Resting there for a few seconds, he gives out a grunt before getting up and starts to walk towards Crystal's room. His whole body ached but it felt nice to be able to train and work at the same time while making some money during it. He was pretty happy about this, giving a few hums, making his way down the hall before knocking on Crystal's door. "Hey Crystal, you ready?" He tried to be as polite as possible, and he remembered always to knock and get permission to enter.

She jolted a bit from her seat on her chaise lounge, forgetting that he'd offered to help earlier in the day. "O- oh!" The woman explained, flushing that same soft purple as before, "O... one minute, sorry, let me... let me get my stuff together." The weapon said, standing up and gathering her electronics into her bag before nearly smacking herself and calling out again: "I- come in, I'm sorry, I'm such a mess..."

Listening to his employer, he nodded to himself and waited by the door. Letting her get together as he started to think to himself about her other sister. He didn't have to wait very long before opening the door, announcing to her that he was coming in. He wasn't as clean himself as his hair was quite the mess along with his attire, letting it loose slightly so he could breathe a bit more. But he still wore the same smile as before to her. "You're fine Crystal. I'm not a clean person either heh."

A weak, nervous chuckle followed his words, but she nearly had her things together. Soon enough, she was tossing the bag over her shoulders and setting about making sure everything in her office was locked up, then making sure of it all again, then making a third pass around her desk for the same thing. Seeming satisfied, now, and certainly less shaky, she nodded to the door, ready to lock it up and head out. "I... I'll let Rose know on the way out." She said, smiling shyly, though not nearly as on-edge now as before.

Watching her move around, he continued his smile as he watched her. It was nice to see her not so shaky. Waiting for her to finish up, he nodded to her words and bows his head. "After you milady." He gave an incredibly cheesy way of being a gentleman, but he stiffed a chuckle before turning into a laugh at his own movements. He was trying to lighten the mood some more for her and to have a lighter atmosphere.

Her face flushed a bit, and she awarded him with a soft, weak chuckle as she walked by. Pulling the door closed behind them both, she set about locking it. Immediately checking both locks after turning them, she seemed content enough and stored the keys in her bag before smiling up at him shyly. "Just... I just gotta let Rose know..." she said before all but scampering off towards the next door, knocking before darting inside and letting Rose know. The elder sibling escorted her back out of the room and chuckled a bit, nodding at Merran and tilting her small, showy hat. She was still in her work pants, but had a corset on, now, as well as the hat, with her hair in curls all about her head.

Meran felt quite happy hearing the rewarding chuckle. He was quite happy during this point in time, watching her to head into her sister's room before nodding to her. "Alright the-" He suddenly stopped looking at Rose, his face going slightly red with a small blush. Soon enough, he shuts his eyes embarrassed and nods his head. He wasn't that used to seeing women like this in a work environment... in those clothes. Giving himself a second so he could open his eyes and not be all... awkward.

Rosaline laughed, folding her arms across her chest to make it a little easier on him, "This is why you don't work the graveyard shift," she assured him with a wink, waving them along without uncrossing her arms. "Get her home safe, okay?" She said, and though her tone seemed friendly enough, there was a clear, underlying edge to it that held the promise of a threat, should he do anything to the contrary.

Crystal merely rolled her eyes, pulling her sweater tighter around her, as though self-conscious in the presence of her sister, or perhaps in the potential comparison between the two of them.

Giving a stilled blush, he gave a nod to the graveyard shift part, yet he still wouldn't mind working it, he didn't mind the shift he just needed the money really. Before long, he bows his head to her before speaking, "I'll get her home safe. I can promise that much." raising his head after he finished talking, his eyes were backto her, showing he was meaning what he said. Soon enough, his eyes towards Crystal. "Shall we head out?" He gave her a reassuring look, indicating he was actually pretty excited for this for some reason. He didn't know why himself on why he was so excited, maybe it was because he was spending some time with Crystal? He didn't know really, but that was one possibility.

Crystal nodded, shifting a bit before holding her extra long sleeve up to her mouth, seeming almost to be nibbling on the fabric as she did so. Chuckling a bit, Rose closed and locked the door, retreating back into her room to finish changing.

Meran walked out of the cafe, heading outside, checking around for anything suspicious. He seemed to take the: "Get Crystal home safely" thing a tad bit too seriously. But soon enough, he lightened up and starts to relax. "So, which way first?" He says, turning his head with a relieved look.

She gestured towards the city proper; they still technically lived a bit outside the normal city limits, but they lived in the city nonetheless. "This way," she said, walking along.

Following her steps to be almost by her side, he decides to pick up some casual conversation during this so it wouldn't be so awkward. "So... why was Rose... dressed... like that?" He didn't really know what to say really but they were living there... so maybe at the wrong time and wrong place? "Did we catch her at a bad time or something?"

She chuckled a bit, realizing that he wasn't completely aware of where he worked for, "The... the restaurant side of the business is newer. The place started out as a... well," she coughed for a second, trying to figure out how to explain the situation to him, "we also employ... dancers, on the weekends. The er... exotic kind?"

It didn't take long for Meran to piece everything together, with his jaw slightly dropped, he started to bashfully stammer. "D-d-do you work there as well?" He couldn't imagine Crystal working there, his mind tried to envision it, but he shuts his eyes and shook his head. He couldn't imagine that right now... that was something that shouldn't be envisioned as it would ruin the image he had of her. His steps were slightly off as he seemed to be a bit shocked by the news.

"Not in... the same way," she assured him, shifting a bit, blushing, "We have actual shows that are largely theatrical... but, ah, still.... appeal at different parts." More blushing, and she hugged her sweater around herself as they walked, "I perform but don't... dance? Or.... how do I..." She thought for a moment, considering, "I... act. I don't go all-out like them but, uh, I do get on the stage. Usually with more.... _non-exotic_ dancing...."

A blush appearing on his own face, he couldn't tell she really does from the descriptions, but the thoughts come again before he shook his head once more. "A-ah... I-I see... Uhm..." He looked away to hide his blush, continuing to walk along the sidewalk with one of his hands in his pockets. He couldn't think of anything else to add but try and digest the new information about his boss.

"I don't dance naked..." she finally said, a little too loudly, more suddenly blurted than actually explained in the moment. Her face quickly flushed and she buried it in her hands, freezing in place and feeling like she was about to die.

Hearing this said aloud, Meran jumped himself. He did not need to know that, but now he does... This is embarrassing... "I... uhm... n-n-nice to know..." His face was blushed, now pushing the images as far as possible away. He didn't need to think of THAT now. He also felt like he made it more awkward for saying that.

Crystal remained standing there, wondering how long it would take for her to sink into the sand and die of her embaressment.

"I-I mean... You... do you... I'll uh... here... let's just take you home." Getting down on his knee, he shows her his back. "Just get on... and I'll uh, high-tail it there..." He gave a blush, wanting to get her home before anyone looks any longer if anyone was around, but he didn't want to find out either.
