Animal Form: Shrimp and other crustatians. Particularly, the Mantis Shrimp with quite a bit of affinity for the Pistol Shrimp as well. He turns into a crowd of several really small shrimp that can breath air and get through small spaces supprisingly easy.

Love Interest: Amelia Roscoe

Appearance: Is around 5 feet tall with a series of claw like scars over either side of his neck. His hair is short and a sandy brown and his skin is supprisingly somewhat tan for wearing so much stuff over it all the time. His eyes are really glossy with what seem like yellow pupils, having grown another layer over them to help see underwater better.

The first thing people notice about Strix is he's almost always wearing a home-made suit of "armor" devised from various waxes and cardboard that, while acting and looking like metal, have next to no defensive propperties. It's patterned in a combination of red, black, and white spots all over. The head of it is a shrimp-like... well, head... that keeps his eyes hidden in shadow and have two bulb-like antinne on the top of it that serve no purpose. His nose and mouth are covered by a mask made of (what looks to be) some kind of kelp with a really twisted and lagged shape to it that forms a wierd kind-of beard-like area.

The arms of the suit are pretty normal except for the fact that he has a disk-like shield area on each wrist that will actually open up and slam back for sonic attacks. Each is VERRY durable and useful for highly powerful melee attacks. Meanwhile, the feet of his suit are made to be much wider and clumsy than normal armor to keep him upright at almost all times.... Especially when using his signiture Mantis Punches....

The rest of his suit is covered up by a red robe with a medevil-like feel to it. It stops at the shoulders and knees of his suit, with openings along the side of his legs up to his waist that's got a brown belt wrapped around it. The robe also has a high collar in the front that his kelp-beard-mask trails into. The outfit also has a dark red hat tied to a string that looks like a normal obvious wizard's hat, mainly used to hide his goofy antenna or further signify he is, in fact, a magical being and not some average nut who likes dressing like a shrimp. Because, honestly, who would take him seriously otherwise?

Personality: Strix is just... well, wierd. He always had social problems that stemmed from one of his natural abilities that works similarly to Soul Percept, but with feeling the soul's vibration rather than actually seeing it. So while he could never see people miles away or distinguish thier abilities instantly, he always felt other people's older more powerful souls whenever they got close to him. So Strix became verry socially inept and uncomftrable in large crowds. His entire limit for crowds is just chanting mindlessly in the witch gatherings.... Anything more drives him crazy. Few of the witches even really know his name.

History: Grew up knowing that he was different, but unsure exactly how. When he figured out exactly what he was, Strix struggled to understand it... but came up short. He was just a Warloc, a wielder of magic and someone who becomes a shrimp. Eventually, the Way of Magic just ended up taking hold and he was left with a fascination of Kishin and Weapons. Specifically, how beings were able to consume souls and if there was some kind of way to make something that was immune to that.... A Kishin Egg with a soul so potent that there wouldn't be a weapon alive who could devour it, one who could be revived over and over again.

So far, his reserch has produced absolutly 0 results in the field.... But he believes it's firmly possible to come up with a solution. And that the answear just may lie within how weapons cannot be wielded by certain Meisters and making a soul that resonates on it's own against the weapons wavelength, making them completly incompatable.

Miscellaneous: Spells are really powerful, but take a while to say. Thus, his spells require 2 posts to activate. Meaning people have a pretty quick window to stop him unless he's got help. This makes Strix more of a support-focused character than other witches.
