It's Been a While (Rackie & Lani; Invite)

When Jazz looked over, she found that Nana was truly, honestly smile. Her own smile spread wider across her face, and she reached out to tap Joe on his shoulder. Though seeming slightly irritated, he looked up in the mirror, falling silent in conversation as his eyes widened. Soon, a smile made its way across his face as well, and he ended his call peacefully, mouthing out what is she listening to? Jasmine recited the song's details to him, to which he merely nodded, though he made a mental note of it.

When the song ended, Nana opened her eyes and looked at Jazz. "Jasmine, can you please show me what type of music you prefer?" The hybrid asked the weapon. She still had that warm smile on her face. Also, something changed in her tone. Was it...Warm? Happy?

Jasmine paused, thinking that it might be best to start out easy on the girl. Thinking, she typed something out on the girl's phone, working to pick a... not so hard song for her. When the music started playing once more, Nana immediately heard drums and guitar.

Nana closed her eyes once again, focusing on the song. There was something in that song. Something that just forced her to open her eyes and look at the screen. The lyrics of that song were getting right into her heart. The hybrid felt that she has tears in her eyes. Nana couldn't understand her feelings, but whatever she was feeling, it was nice, it was refreshing. Her eyes were filled with tears. Her heart started beating faster.

First dread, then a sense of almost panic fell over the weapon, and she reached out to squeeze Nana's hand, her own heart beating faster for entirely different reasons. Frowning, she looked at her meister with concern, unsure of how to react or whether the tears were negative or positive ones. "Nana...?"

Jasmine's voice automatically put her out of her unusual state. She looked at her weapon with a rather surprised(?) look "Huh..?" The operational system of her control unit suddenly crashed and it needed a reboot. "The true" Nana had awoken for a moment. The tears were rolling down her cheeks. She seemed rather confused but, somehow happy.

The weapon's hand squeezed her meister's once more as she moved to look at the girl's face. "Is everything okay?" She asked, unsure of how to respond in the given scenario; Nana was not one to feel, let alone to show, emotions.

The meister nodded slowly. Then she pointed at her own head. "The control unit.. It's restarting." Nana told her, almost whispering. Wait, why was she whispering? It's not like she could wake her computer up by being loud . The whole situation was awkward. However, the twins finally had a chance to meet "The true Nana"
"The music. My mind's reaction to it overwhelmed the computer and forced it to reboot. It usually takes up to 10 minutes.." Nana said. She..sounded rather happy. The girl sighed in relief.

Jasmine stared at her, shocked, surprised by the emotion in her expression, as well as her voice. "Nana?" She said, almost dumbfounded.

Saying nothing, Joseph pulled over the car, quietly stepping out and coming around to open Nunally's door. Stooping down, he looked up at her, expression seeming to search her own.

"I don't have much time, my dear. The control unit is almost ready to take the control back. Let me explain very quickly: Turning the control unit off, releases my consciousness." She told them and closed her eyes. She checked the reboot process.

Nana realized she indeed didn't have much time before the computer restarts. She hoped that her weapons are competent enough to manage to hack her brain and free her from the prison that is her computer.

Both twins blinked, staring in surprise at the use of the pet name. Jasmine still seemed rather speechless, merely nodding as Joseph took control. "And how would we even do that?"

"Jazz asked her friend to hack my computer, right? Let me leave a hint for you." The hybrid pointed at her phone. "This is your key to the control unit. Connect this smartphone to a normal PC. Use the fact that it's connected to my computer to crack the system. It's a Linux based operational system, so it might require some skill to get inside. However, it is possible. Once you get access to the admin options, go to "CRTL_UNTOS.txt" and set value: "Automatic Administration" to zero." She explained trying to make it easy for them to understand.

The male weapon took in everything that she said easily, his memory holding well and easily, making quick mental note of everything that she said. "That we can do," Joe said simply, nodding before reaching up and gently patting her cheek. "We'll get you out of that quirky little head of yours, Nunally."

There was pure happines on her face. "Thank you. I'm counting on you. I'm sure you'll free me from this hell" She spoke with gratitude in her voice. The Hybrid looked at Jasmine and patted her on the head.

"Oh well...Time's up... See you soon, my friends.." The hybrid closed her eyes slowly with a smile.

Emotions left Nunally's face as she opened her eyes again "My apologies, Jasmine, Joseph. It appears that an unknown error forced my system to reboot. The problem has been solved. I'm ready to continue my duty" The hybrid told the weapons with her old emotionless and monotone voice

Saying nothing, Joseph merely left a curt nod and made his way back to the driver's seat, closing Nunally's door in the process. Buckling up, he once again set them off towards Tony and Rogue's apartment; they weren't far away, now. Jasmine, however, seemed visibly disappointed. Saying nothing, though, she took Nana's phone once more, showing her the application store. "You like puzzles, don't'cha?"

Once again, the control unit couldn't understand Jasmine's strange behavior. The clone looked at the screen of her phone. "I don't seem to understand the reason behind this question, Jasmine. I've informed you already that I wasn't created to "like" or "dislike" things" She explained with her cold, boring voice.

The woman pursed her lips, clearly disliking the answer, "Puzzles exercise your brain, yes? So they are beneficial to your mental health?"

The clone analized her words carefully. She was right, so Nana nodded. "Yes, that is true, Jasmine. Do you want me to solve puzzle games?" The girl spoke.
Her computer couldn't understand why Nana should train her brain, but she had to obey the twins, so she didn't need any other reason.

"I thought it might be... enjoyable for you." She went through a plethora of brain games, finding one with a variety of games. Smiling, she downloaded it and handed the phone back to her. Soon, they pulled up to the apartment complex. Jasmine glanced at it, as she used to live here, to an extent, and smiled fondly. Saying nothing more, she made her way out of the car, followed by Joe, who opened the door for their meister.

Nana played that mobile game until they arrived to the apartment complex. The puzzles were cery easy for Nunally to solve. Finally she put the phone into her pocket and got out of the car. "Thank you" She said, looking at Joseph, right into his eyes.

If it were Jasmine, she would have been unsettled by the expression; Joseph, however,, was not. Saying nothing, he helped her out of the car, waiting for their meister before following Jazz up through the complex. Tony and Rogue lived on the third floor, in a three bedroom, and while he'd only been there, himself, to drop Jasmine off, he still knew at least vaguely where it was that there were going. With the memories not fully in focus, however, he relied on his twin to act as guide, checking his watch occasionally as they moved.

The hybrid knew the basics of savoir vivre, her computer found it useful, because it could help her mimic the human behavior much better. Nunally followed her weapons slowly, looking around, scanning the area with her soul perception. The scan showed nothing suspicious. The hybrid remained silent, she had no questions and nothing to say.

Nothing suspicious, perhaps, but Rogue would be a conundrum entirely new to the approaching meister. Jasmine, far too used to being here, merely opened the door and walked in. Tony was not home, likely out with his girlfriend, though Jazz never knew. The living room was surprisingly tidy, meaning that her fellow weapon had not been home for at least a few hours, and the dining room was clear of any clutter or dust. She imagined that Rogue had been left alone here, for a while. "Knock knock~" She called out, voice sing-songed as she moved around to the first bedroom, tapping her knuckles, hand backwards, against the door.

Inside, Nana would notice something strange about the assassin's soul. Unlike most people, whose souls would plainly register their aura color --- both the twins were dark blues --- and the color that matched their type of souls, Rogue's gave off a full spectrum. With every pulse of his wavelength, a beat that stayed steady with his heart, the colors would flash, moving through his soul, and even his own veins, like traveling blood or water through pipes. Red was the deepest color, vivid and clear, chased after by a bright, strong orange. Yellow followed along behind them, steady, and but green was more translucent, compared to the former hues, with the blue that followed it clearly unsteady. It pulsed from his neck, the blue, a faded color that seemed like it was strikingly underdeveloped, compared to the previous ones. Following past it were a dim purple, and an even softer white, originating from his forehead and the top of his head, respectively. Nothing about his soul gave off any threat; it was merely unusual. However, it did show a flexibility to it, with the colors of the soul orb itself floating almost freely, like streamers on a breezy day, reshaping and moving easily.

Nunally followed Jazz's every step, even to a point where it loooked like the hybrid was mimicing the weapon's moves. It was not intentional, but it looked this way. Especially when Nana repeated "Knock knock~?" right after Jasmine. Well, she even used a very similiar sounding tone. However after that, Nana just stood right next to the weapon, staring at her.

She used her soul perception to scan the area. Nana immediately sensed the unusual soul. She quickly compared that soul with her weapons'. Nothing. She compared to soul with her own one and realized that the unusual soul probably belonnged to a meister. His soul was very confusing. Nunally could not understand its nature. There was nothing about that soul in the Internet. Her head was becoming quite hot thanks to her overheated computer

The man in question answered the door shortly, hair tousled, face mask covering him from his nose to his collarbones, but otherwise shirtless and in shorts. His cheeks rose to signify that he was smiling under the mask, and he pulled the door open. "Mornin', Jazzie." He said, his eyes scanning over the others. The sight of Nana made his wavelength flicker blue briefly, quivering as the chakra reacted. "I... a- assume you're N..... Nana?"
